Very unwelcoming experience. The young guy behind the counter seemed overwhelmed while helping a customer and asked me in a flat tone "what do you need?" He continued helping the customer then randomly paused with her to help me. We start my return and he seems so annoyed the whole time and rushed me as fast as he could to get back to the other customer. I still needed help with a whole different order but decided this location was not worth my time. I'd rather battle factoria traffic than come back to this location. read more

Don't look at the old reviews from 2018 or earlier. This shop is doing amazing work and handling a lot of mail and packages with efficiency and good service. I have had a mailbox here since 2017. They handle all my incoming and outgoing mail. I and can verify the personalized and attentive service the owners provide me and all customers that use their service. read more

At the time of this review, they closed about an hour later than all the other UPS's and when you find out the one store is open when everyone isn't, they suddenly become super stars. I went to this store to send a merchandise return to an online retailer. I walked in and the person behind the counter stood there without acknowledging me. I said I need to send this back with this label. He said I need to put it in an envelop or a package. I said okay and had to ask him if he had any. He just pointed to a wall and said I needed to buy it. Wow, what awful service! I paid for the envelop put the sticker on and gave it to him to send. A total lack of communication. You can get more of a response from a dead fish. I would not recommend this store. read more

New to town so this was the closest ups store to me! Came here on a Fri morning to return some packages last week. I had 3 packages from amazon I needed to return. Elderly Asian worker did not say hello or greet me in any kind way. Notably I was struggling as I was trying to pull up all the barcodes for each of the packages I needed to give him from my phone. I apologized and said the internet connection was bad and I told him I'll just move to the side as he helps other customers. At my local shop I used to get a response like: "oh on no worries take your time." Instead he said nothing, gave me a disgusted look and moved onto another customer. I also asked him about some stickers on my packages and asked if that might cause issues with them in transit: he just ignored my question and continued to stick the new address stickers onto my package (and haphazardly btw not really overlapping the new sticker with old one) I don't think this represents all workers at this location as I only encountered one person: but this customer service was pretty terrible: it was the lack of acknowledgement to customer questions, concerns, and not emanating a "pleasant" attitude that made the experience awkward and making me feel like I should find another ups store elsewhere read more

I was so thankful that this UPS store opens at 8 am. I rarely need assistance with shipping a package, but I needed to ship a prize to my teammate in Canada. Hoon, went out of his way to assist me with putting the prize in a bigger shipping box & bubble wrap. I wasn't aware that there were so many steps with customs and am grateful for Hoon help. Very bad service from the store clerk today 01-08-01 at 1.15pm PT. I came requested notary service. I already had made the photocopies for my ID, 2 pages for one ID. He initially said $10 but then he stamped both pages for $20 I told him if we can re-photocopy on to 1 page to save me an extra $10. He got upset with me and said "I don't want to deal with you". I asked him for his name and he said "Why should I give it to you?" VERY rude person. He needs retraining in customer service. I had business worth $40 at the store and he declined my business completely! So disappointing and disrespectful! read more

When I walked in last night, one of the two guys behind the counter was busy helping a customer. The other asked if he could help me. Which is ironic, because he ended up not lifting a finger the entire time I was there. I'm used to the UPS store taking whatever crap I bring in, putting it in a nice box, and asking me for the info to send it off. That's why I like the UPS store. I don't have to think - I just take in stuff + address and I know I'm set. Not the case here. The employee said, "You'll need something to put those in," and pointed to the rack of padded envelopes. Then he said, "Go fill out the address form," and pointed to the counter in the center of the room. After I was done with all that, he pointed again to his co-worker and said that he would help me instead. All that pointing must be really hard work... apparently it was time for a break. This place is super close to work, so I end up going here for that reason. But the service is not what I expect from a UPS store. read more

A few years ago this was a very important place. I needed a notary quickly and they were in a great location and accommodating. We were becoming domestic partners and brought all our paper work in and laid it in front of the nice Asian man working there. He was confused. He thought we were starting a company. Which was highly amusing. We explained our situation and he blushed. He did our cute little "I dos". And made our day. We ate teriyaki afterwards. It was wonderful. read more

These owners and workers are just psst off all the time. It's like I'm doing them a favor for being there. They love to say "no", have zero customer service skills and don't even try to make it a good experience. While I was there they sent another woman home to go print her bar code (even though they could have had her e-mail it to them to print). Choose another UPS OR choose to give poor small business owners your business. I'm going to choose another UPS store close by. We have choices as customers! Yes, I know English is a 2nd language for them. As it is for me. That's no excuse. They should find another business whereby they don't have to interact with people who pay them. read more

The owner was rude and there was no customer service at all. Coming in, he saw me with a big box, made eye contact, then went to the back with a frown. Shortly, he comes back and sighs. Questions were answered with sarcasm. To be clear, I have not used this location before. We stopped by since it was on the way between errands. If the owners/employees do not care for customer service. Then they shouldn't be in this business. I recommend not to use this location. Save your stress and aggrevation. read more

Getting to this store is ridiculous to start. I pulled into 3 driveways and none of the businesses "connect" there. I paid to have a work package rerouted here. Once there, I only had an info notice my coworker gave me to find my package (since he couldn't find it by name). He said he can't find it by an info notice, and I explained the UPS I'd just been at had been able to find it that way (I apparently held it at the wrong location than where I normally visit). Once we found the package with my name and the company name I gave him he refused to give it to me because I'd left my ID at the other store. I had a business card and a company card with the company name and my name and the receipt from paying to hold the delivery there. I've picked up several packages before that have never required my ID. Apparently they hold it a week, and that doesn't change for holidays so they sent it back before I could make it back there (which I discovered after a frustrating and long phone call with the front desk who once again, couldn't pull up my information). Despite being the closest to my office, I will be sure to continue to work with other locations in the future. read more

First of all, everyone should know that there is about a 35 to 38 % surcharge or markup at this location then if you were to bring it to the actual ups counter. I learned it the hard way, by trusting what the guy said that was working behind the counter. Older korean guy I believe, he assured me that the cost is all the same and there is no difference! That's lie! I ended up paying about 35% more. Everything is marked up from, fuel surcharge to insurance and signature conformation. And I didn't even get the customer service that one should get with that kind of surcharge. I didn't even get a hand with the 80lb package I was sending out, nor did I get smile. I was thrown off because when I did a calculation estimate on the ups website it was 128 and not 208 that I was charged. Well its my bad for trusting them, it will NEVER happen again! read more

Staff is not friendly. Use this place if you want to just drop something off but if you need ANY help, I'd suggest you find other locations. I went in this morning and the first thing is there was no greeting. There was no other customer in store. I asked for the standard UPS envelope and the guys behind the counter would not provide it until he was sure that I have a pre-paid label. After I was done getting the content into the envelope and ready to ship, the guy would not take the package form me but instead gave me orders do place the envelope on the scale. Then when I asked for the receipt, he handed it to me as if doing me a favor. Very unwelcoming experience. Never going back here. read more

After a bad experience a couple months ago I decided to give them another shot the atmosphere was awesome. A complete change from last time Mike Barer was helping me. He was fast efficient and made my former experience seem like just a bad day at the store. I for one highly recommend this UPS store and the employees. Also there dog is a riot. I have been in a few times because of convenience and the gentlemen who I think is the owner or manager is extremely rude, negative, and doesn't want to assist at all. (This has happened on at Least 5 trips into the store). The other younger gentlemen is just on his phone and treats each transaction like it's really inconvenient for him. They have two new people working that are much friendlier and helpful which hopefully will turn the store around. read more

Always went to this store to pick up. Why we have to do that with extra time? Because UPS ever got my package lost and it spent us lots of effort and time to get our money back. Really don't wanna go through what we went through. Usually it's fine with these staff. But today is totally different. There was no other customer or staff when it was our turn to pick up. That guy with poker face frowned when we showed him the tracking no. on UPS app. Don't know why since this is supposed his regular work, isn't it? Even worse, he asked last 4 digits of the tracking no. then directly told us there is no such package. It's weird since their system said there is. We insisted him to check again. After double check (reluctantly) he said there is, then asked for last name and id. I gave him my passport which was the only one I carried with me. He asked if I have a local id and seemed like to refuse this id. This is the first time someone asks for a "local" id instead when I present the passport during our stay in US for over 4 years. I just told him: this is a Passport! He reluctantly got it, took a look and then threw it back to me, Really rude. All through the service he had no any smile, no greetings, no any other expression except frown and dissatisfaction with what we requested. Really disappointed and it definitely brought us bad mood. read more

Stiff, not friendly service. I asked the guy whether I can get a receipt for what I send - I wanted to send a smart card back to DishNetwork. He said they don't provide receipts. I left and went to the Cross Roads Mall UPS store. The guy at Cross Roads Mall UPS store not only gave me a receipt, but also helped me make a photo copy of the addressed envelop as proof of sending the card back. Tiny extra efforts by the store staff makes a big difference to customer experience. I will not go to the NE 20th UPS store again, and will keep using the Cross Roads one. read more

While their professionalism might be a little lacking, the employees here made up for it in customer service by being incredibly patient with me as I struggled with trying to return an AT&T Uverse modem that supposedly should have been easy, according to AT&T. They certainly don't make it easy for the UPS employees or their customers, though. But the employees here helped me by looking up AT&T's number and letting me use their computers to access my email and print a shipping label from AT&T. Thanks to them, I finally was able to ship my modem to the correct place after taking up probably 2 hours of their time. read more

This location is open later than others usually till 6:30 pm which is nice. The downside is they seem very expensive. I've shipped UPS ground with them and the service charge is typically the same cost as shipping the item. For some reason this location seems to be more expensive than others I've been too. read more
