There were two people working there today and both of them were very rude. We wanted to ship out something and they were not helpful at all.

I was in and out in 3 minutes and for only a couple dollars. The lady at the counter was really nice and made my shipment a breeze. Collected payment and received a shipping label and didn't even tell me for days. The problem was we don't have a computer or printer so I had no way to print the label (we're on iPads here and who really prints things anymore??). So we were going to have to print at the library, which was never open when I was not working. Finally just decided to pay postage again myself because my child was getting heat for not yet sending the package. Went to post office and they had no tape. On my way to the store to get some, drove past the mailbox store and decided to go in. They took my books, provided the priority box, taped it up themselves and printed my label and gave it to the post man while I was waiting. All for the price of the priority postage I already paid. To top it off they were so nice. Please use this business for your shopping needs! You won't regret it with the service they give & you'll be keeping a small business going.

He was definitely showing it off since he had his sleeve other sleeve was down and pulled up all the way and banded to the collar of his tee shirt! How upsetting! I have 2 small elementary school children and when I saw that I felt sick! What kind of person gets a tattoo like that and then makes sure every customer who comes into that store sees it, especially after yesterday's tragic shooting! It's sick! Is he OK with children being shot to death while praying in a church? Not to mention he was smiling the whole time and kept moving so his tattoo was facing me. I couldn't even look at him, I was so distracted by that sickening, deranged tattoo! Maybe UPS should take a better look at who is working at their stores! I will NEVER use the UPS Store located in Harmony Plaza, 4142 Ogletown Stanton Rd, Newark, DE 19713 again! While 2 children are being laid to rest, he's flaunting a Grim Reaper tattoo holding an automatic rifle! He needs mental help!

Terrible customer service. Ordered some things from a major retailer that listed this store as an…read moreaccess point. I got a notification at noon that the packages were delivered, and went there after work to pick them up. Guy there tells me the packages were returned to sender as they don't have a contract with the seller. I had no idea what this meant, but when I asked I got treated to a nice little rant about how they don't have space & don't work for free (I did pay for UPS and wrongly thought that meant they could hold the package for me, my mistake). Then he told me to go talk to corporate. No phone numbers, no info on where the packages might be going next, no mention of potentially intercepting them or getting the sender to intercept. Nothing. Just a sharp rant before walking away. Keep in mind the tracking at this point still said "delivered," not "returned to sender" or anything like that, so I'd had no idea that they'd refused delivery for half a day. I know it wasn't me because I think I said about 9 words and they were "why would they list you as an access point." Which, honestly, I was mostly asking myself as I didn't think the random guy would have an answer to that. But he answered it anyway, and while I can take being told I should've known better (I'm still a little confused, but I can take it), what I take issue with is the lack of any sort of assistance with contact numbers, tracking, or even just general information on how the process might work. Guy literally just yelled about it and left. The guys at the UPS customer center on Ruthar were way more helpful. By the time I got to them (the UPS Store support number was also terribly unhelpful & slow, but told me to talk to the customer center), the packages were on a train going back to the seller. But these guys gave me actual information on destination, timelines, and even guidance on how to get things held at their depot if I needed it (I don't, but it was nice of them to offer up the info). They're different from UPS stores, which I think are franchises, and it shows. I wish the retailer had given an option to deliver there instead of the store, & I've asked the retailer to look at updating their information if they can. Don't use this store if you can help it, they're probably fine if you have no issues or are just printing or whatever, but I can't recommend their customer experience for anything beyond that. The customer center on Ruthar isn't far away, I would say check them out instead and see if they offer what you need.

I am his caregiver and handle all of his care and responsibilities. With everything going on, I accidentally left one of his documents his ID in the printing machine. As soon as I realized I did not have everything, I called the store. I was placed on hold for about 8 minutes before anyone returned to the phone, I hung up and said I'll just go tomorrow I was already back at hospital. The next day, 5/6/2026, I returned to the store to retrieve the ID. I first spoke with a very kind young lady in the printing department who directed me to the Party City/customer service desk. When I got there, a woman who I later learned was the assistant manager came out of a side office very aggressively and immediately stated that she would not be able to give me the ID and that my father himself would have to come pick it up. I calmly explained my father's condition, that he is currently hospitalized fighting for his life, and that I am his caregiver. I even offered to show my own ID and caregiver information. I also explained that the store cameras would clearly show me in the store the morning of 5/5/2026 with my father's documents. Despite this, she repeatedly said "no" without any compassion or understanding, even as I became emotional and began crying while explaining the situation. The gentleman who came out with her eventually took the ID from her hand and asked me to confirm the address listed on it and whether it was current. I confirmed that it was, and he stated that they would mail the ID to the address on file. I then politely asked if I could receive something in writing confirming that the ID would be mailed so I could provide reassurance to my father. While I stood there visibly upset and in tears, the assistant manager returned and handed me a sticky note saying it "should be mailed," then walked away rudely. As I read the note before leaving, I noticed it was only signed with the letter "K." I turned around and politely asked for her name. She loudly yelled "KATIE" across the store in front of multiple customers. When I tried to ask her why she was being so aggressive toward me, she walked away toward the office. The gentleman with her told her to "relax" before the office door was slammed shut.I stood there embarrassed, humiliated, and confused because I had done nothing disrespectful. I never yelled, screamed, or spoke rudely to anyone. I remained calm and understanding throughout the entire interaction while simply trying to retrieve my sick father's identification. As a frequent customer who lives nearby and regularly spends money at this location, I am deeply hurt and disappointed by how I was treated by Assistant Manager KATIE. I understand that leaving the ID behind was my mistake, but the complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and compassion shown during this interaction was unacceptable. Because of this experience, 5/6/2026 will be my last day doing business with Staples, especially Store #1528. I would never recommend this location to others based on how I was treated during one of the hardest moments of my life. Lastly, despite everything, I genuinely pray that KATIE overcomes whatever she may personally be going through. As someone currently dealing with an overwhelming situation myself, I still choose to extend grace and kindness.
