I needed to print something and was provides in-and-out service by Nar and Tanya. They deserve raises.

On 5/5/2026, I went to Staples Store #1528 to make copies for my father, who is currently in the hospital fighting cancer. I am his caregiver and handle all of his care and responsibilities. With everything going on, I accidentally left one of his documents his ID in the printing machine. As soon as I realized I did not have everything, I called the store. I was placed on hold for about 8 minutes before anyone returned to the phone, I hung up and said I'll just go tomorrow I was already back at hospital. The next day, 5/6/2026, I returned to the store to retrieve the ID. I first spoke with a very kind young lady in the printing department who directed me to the Party City/customer service desk. When I got there, a woman who I later learned was the assistant manager came out of a side office very aggressively and immediately stated that she would not be able to give me the ID and that my father himself would have to come pick it up. I calmly explained my father's condition, that he is currently hospitalized fighting for his life, and that I am his caregiver. I even offered to show my own ID and caregiver information. I also explained that the store cameras would clearly show me in the store the morning of 5/5/2026 with my father's documents. Despite this, she repeatedly said "no" without any compassion or understanding, even as I became emotional and began crying while explaining the situation. The gentleman who came out with her eventually took the ID from her hand and asked me to confirm the address listed on it and whether it was current. I confirmed that it was, and he stated that they would mail the ID to the address on file. I then politely asked if I could receive something in writing confirming that the ID would be mailed so I could provide reassurance to my father. While I stood there visibly upset and in tears, the assistant manager returned and handed me a sticky note saying it "should be mailed," then walked away rudely. As I read the note before leaving, I noticed it was only signed with the letter "K." I turned around and politely asked for her name. She loudly yelled "KATIE" across the store in front of multiple customers. When I tried to ask her why she was being so aggressive toward me, she walked away toward the office. The gentleman with her told her to "relax" before the office door was slammed shut.I stood there embarrassed, humiliated, and confused because I had done nothing disrespectful. I never yelled, screamed, or spoke rudely to anyone. I remained calm and understanding throughout the entire interaction while simply trying to retrieve my sick father's identification. As a frequent customer who lives nearby and regularly spends money at this location, I am deeply hurt and disappointed by how I was treated by Assistant Manager KATIE. I understand that leaving the ID behind was my mistake, but the complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and compassion shown during this interaction was unacceptable. Because of this experience, 5/6/2026 will be my last day doing business with Staples, especially Store #1528. I would never recommend this location to others based on how I was treated during one of the hardest moments of my life. Lastly, despite everything, I genuinely pray that KATIE overcomes whatever she may personally be going through. As someone currently dealing with an overwhelming situation myself, I still choose to extend grace and kindness. read more

This is an understaffed and underserved location. You'll be waiting long with no help. I really wanted passport photos but no one ever came to assist even though I was told by two employees that someone would be there shortly. read more

I came to staples to send a couple items back to Amazon. They accept Amazon package returns. I came here with a couple Amazon packages for a return The packages I was sending back I taped up the boxes and brought them to this New Castle location.i was very disappointed in the service I received. They open the boxes I have already packed and taped up. The gentleman ripped open the boxes and took the items out and put it in a different box WTH....Then they gave me the empty boxes and told me I can just throw those boxes in the outside trash. This is absolutely BS. If I packed up my return then why in the hell would this unprofessional place open up my return then take the item out and put it in another box Makes no F sense.... What is wrong with the boxed they were in. I had them perfectly sealed and I thought I was just handing it to them so they can scan my phone for the Amazon return. What a waste of money I spent just going out to buy packing tape to seal my Amazon return THEN this darn place cuts the boxes open takes the item out just to throw it in another box and giving me back the empty boxes. I am FURIOS and will not be going back there again. This places gets bad feedback read more

I recently went to Staples to get help in figuring out how to get a file that I purchased on Etsy printer. Fortunately for me, Isaiah from the Copy/Print Department was ready to assist. He very patiently walked me through the steps (including what I had to do on my phone to even find the file) and helped me get it printed on the correct paper. TIM! Got such amazing service from him at Staples. Our family needed a poster-sized enlargement printed and laminated for our mom's funeral in short order and he came through! This is the worst Copy & Print Center I have ever been to. First off, the employee helping me, Nicole, printed my photo out on regular computer paper (not photo paper like I had asked) and COPIED IT ON THE COPIER to downsize it to a 5x7. My mind was completely blown. Yes, let's use a copier to downsize a photo and print it out that way instead of downsizing on software and doing it, yanno, the way you're supposed to. I was so frustrated that I decided to do it myself and asked for my thumb drive back. When I saw that the self service computers were cost per minute, I walked right back to Nicole and asked her to, again, re-print my photo on photo paper on 5x7. Now here's the fun part. Important timeline of events: 1) Handed thumb drive to Nicole 2) She copies my photo on the copier (I'm still flabbergasted by this) 3) I take my thumb drive back, walk over to the other computers, immediately walk back (did not insert my thumb drive into the self service computer) and hand drive back to Nicole 4) Nicole says -- much to my dismay -- THAT MY FILE IS GONE. I understand that things happen. The manager offered me a free transaction (what transaction? There WOULD NOT BE A TRANSACTION WITHOUT A VIABLE PRINT, PLUS YOUR PRINTS COST LIKE A DOLLAR. WOW. A WHOLE DOLLAR! THANKS BUDDY!), a $20 courtesy card (HA! Sure, that'll pay lawyer's fees when my client gets their prints late because MY FILE WAS GONE), and then... genius struck. Their IT guy could try to recover the file! WHY WAS THIS NOT THE FIRST THING YOU THOUGHT OF. YOU WORK AT STAPLES. Super hero IT guy comes to the rescue and saves my file. I tell Nicole what I need again, and she goes about, what I ASSUMED, was printing my file, but then proceeds to ask me about 10 minutes later "Can I help you with anything else?" "Yes, my print on a 5x7." "Oh... you wanted the print...?" Two words, Staples: Drug tests. Her eyes were so vacant I could have moved in, had a house-warming party, and raised 30 cats. Thank god another woman was there to help and took over. She printed my file in 30 seconds - it was gorgeous - and shipped everything out. I really wish I remembered her name so I could thank her for doing her job and doing it well. I was there for almost 2 hours, and I will never EVER go there again. read more

Agreed with Matt. Austin knows his stuff. Manager defers to him which shows good management. Printing was very busy when I got there and it wasn't too long of a wait, but she didn't charge me for my 20 copies. No complaints here except their island blocks traffic flow. I'm handicapped and it's a pain to be redirected so far. read more

Where service in the world. Waited 15 minutes for a manager. He refused to come out of the printing area. Seem to have a lack of employees. I am only giving this one star because I can't give it no stars... after I waited all that time they came back and told me that that product should not be on the shelf because they no longer had it.. no apologies no nothing. This office supply store is in the Airport Plaza strip mall off US-13 northbound. Parking is more than adequate as there is a big parking area that seems to be underused. Like most Staples stores, this one is clean, well-organized, and well-stocked, except for some weekly special items that they do tend to run out of. Customer service ranges from okay to great depending on who in the store you ask. read more

Staff clueless about technology products. Waste of time shopping here. I asked for Linux compatible printer, they had no idea. Asked for difference between DVD+ R and DVD- R media, I got wrong information. They also seem to be understaffed on the technology products side. read more

Worst service I have ever received. There were barely employees; the few that were there had no cross training. If you are a customer service employee or cashier you might not know the specs of the laptops but you should at least be able to tell me how much it is. No one could help me with a price. They kept pointing to a guy, saying he was the only tech there. Well he was busy with a customer who had a MILLION AND ONE questions. So I asked for a manager, they stated that the tech guy was the manager (his name is Monty).I tried to get his attention just so I can get a price on the laptop. That was all! I already viewed it online and did my research now I was here to purchase only. He acted like he didn't even want to do that. After he gave me the price, I said okay I want to purchase it, he stated that he was with a customer. He goes back to talking to the customer. After I pursue, he states that he is the only one that can grab it. What another inconvenience, you might as well run the store by yourself Monty. If you can not call on another employee to do a simple job then what are they there for. So I left and came back almost an hour later. Monty was STILL with the same customer now im angry because I don't feel as though I should have to continue to wait for a customer who clearly is confused and doesn't know what he wants when I am there ready to purchase. And on top of that the store was closing in about another hour. When I got back I waited about another 15 minutes before I had enough. Finally, he went grabbed the laptop and gave it to the cashier. Something he could of did earlier, I had to drive all the way into downtown Wilmington to pick up my child and back because he took so long when he could have said excuse me to the customer I am just going to get her the laptop. The room it was in was only 5 ft away from the customer. Would of took 2 seconds as It did when he finally decided to get it. So now here I am at the register finally paying for the laptop, he is trying to sell me other products. Sir; you was just with a customer and couldn't help me (the customer is still there btw), leave me alone I don't want nothing else from here is what im thinking in my mind. I decline the offer, pay and leave. After I left I realized he didn't want to just give me the laptop because he wanted to give me the sales pitch; and sell me other items. He wasted my time, and my gas. So thank you Monty, your store sucks! read more
