I don't want my neighbor's mail, they don't want mine, and when a package has a tracking number, I would expect that you could damn well keep track of it. I went to this location yesterday after taking 1.5 hours of personal time from my job in order to pick up a registered parcel. I called the 800 number in advance (because the telephone number listed for this particular location WAS NOT WORKING) and they told me that my package was at this location. So, I leave work early, drive my butt to this location, stand in line for 15 minutes, and then am told that my parcel is actually at a DIFFERENT post office that CLOSES AT 2 PM. Mind you, it's 4:30 at this point. I explained to the woman that was helping me that I had called in advance and confirmed my package was there, and this was not in any way my fault, and that I couldn't come back the next day and get it since I already took time off work to come on the day that I was there. After I was a bitch about the situation the woman I was working with got someone named BJ to come out from the back and BJ told me that he'd personally re-deliver my package to my house the following day. Overall this particular location really is the best one I've ever been to - the staff were more pleasant than at any location I've ever been to, and the building itself it was big and clean. However, the fundamental flaws with USPS still remain despite the nice building. If UPS and FedEx can manage to have functional telephone numbers at their sites, can deliver packages on time, and can tell you where the fuck a particular package is at any given moment, why the hell can't USPS?? I wish I could /unsubscribe from them permanently, as my blood pressure can't handle interacting with them any longer.

It's conveniently located in a shopping center off of Baltimore Pike and has plenty of parking available. I wasn't sure what to do when I got inside so I just stood in line. As soon as a rep was free she asked if I had a prepaid label and if I scanned it yet. When I said yes and no, she came from behind the counter and led me to the self scanner, start here if your package is ready to go with a prepaid label. Just hold the barcode under the scanner and take it to the counter when you get a successful beep, and it will print your receipt. Drop the package at the counter and you're done! The girl that helped me was very friendly and knew I didn't know what to do, so her customer service and attitude were appreciated. Can't say much about the value as it was a prepaid label, but I am sure it's in line with other major shippers in the area. They have lots of packing materials for sale if you should need any, and friendly service. Highly recommend this location.
