Went to this store, just before they were going to close for the evening. They were so kind to keep the store open, past closing hours, in order for me to get a battery replacement for my iphone. Both Marty & Justin went out of their way to see that my phone was taken care of, and did not lose a battery charge. They took a lot of time, and efforts, to make sure we left the store with a new battery that was covered by my insurance. They are both extremely professional, courteous, and I would never bring my phone anywhere else in the future. Thank you again Marty & Justin for a job well done. Following up as I had to take it somewhere else to be repaired since it was never repaired the first time. The person doing the repair said they never replaced the HDMI port, they only stuck something underneath it to keep it from wiggling. Complete incompetent scammers. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COST ME 2,000.00. I'd absolutely give 0 stars if I could. I hope that this saves at least one individual from experiencing what I did. I walked in for a screen repair for a minor crack and this organization broke my phone beyond repair causing me a financial loss of almost $2000.00 between my current phone and the replacement phone. Went in on the 3rd and was greeted by a man who asked how he could help me. I told him I was looking to replace my iPhone screen in which he immediately replied that he didn't have it in stock with a quick reverse around the corner to ask a coworker if they in fact did have one. The coworker stated that they do where the same man came back around the corner with a screen in hand. The man told me the price and while I was wrapping up a food order on my phone before handing it over he said "take your case off please" to which I replied, one moment while I finish this up. He then replied "take your case off" yet again sounding impatient. Not ONE time was any further discussion had beyond that. No one informed me that the screen being placed was an aftermarket screen nor was I given the option for a genuine Apple screen. I take my case off and the man tells me to come back in an hour. I leave and come back in an hour and the phone was done. At this point a different tech was the one who performed the work, Jack (Who seemed much more customer focused and personable than the first person I encountered). I get in my car and notice that I have an error message for a non OEM part being installed. I could have overlooked this lack of being informed on the front end but throughout the evening my phone then became intermittently faulty when I tried to type or access apps. The newly installed display was faulty. I go back to the store two days later and due to the lack of communication and informed choice, I ask for my old screen to be put back on and a full refund for the faulty screen. Jack was helping me again this time and consulted Rob for the return. They refund my initial payment for the again UNKNOWN TO ME NON OEM DISPLAY. I ask if they have a genuine apple screen in which they reply yes. Again this was NOT offered to me when I first came two days prior. They were going to charge me 379ish dollars for a "genuine apple" screen so I decline their "genuine Apple" display. Jack tells me to come back in an hour so I do. When I return, Jack holds up my phone with the mildly cracked screen and tells me that the screen does not function at all now. Rob and Jack THEN inform me that "these things can happen." I replied that "THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN VALUABLE INFORMATION BEFORE YOU TOOK MY PHONE!!!" Not one time were the risks discussed with me before they performed ANY of the work for that matter let alone before putting on my prior display. I ask what their solution is and Rob says that for an additional $179.00 he can install another aftermarket screen. I decline and state that I want to leave with the phone functioning as it was when I came in two days ago. Rob tells me he can't give me a free screen again to which I state that I just want the phone to work, I walked in with a fully working phone and now I'm leaving with a nonfunctioning phone. They said that there was nothing that they could do so I leave. I head IMMEDIATELY to Apple Genius Bar where they tell me no problem, they'll replace the phone screen with an apple screen for 279.00!!! They take my phone and tell me to come back in an hour. I come back in an hour and the woman approaches me with my phone with cracked screen still on. She then informs me that my phone was completely broken beyond repair and that they couldn't perform diagnostics because UBREAKIFIX by ASURION Glen Mills broke my phone beyond repair. I end up being forced to buy the same exact phone all over again because of this place. I contact Asurion corporate and ended up speaking to Brendan. Brendan, contacts the franchise owners (that is who Asurion Corporate said would be responsible for rectifying) to get the "breakdown." The franchise owners LIE COMPLETELY ABOUT THE INTERACTION so I request the video footage be viewed by corporate. The following day Brendan calls to tell me that PATRICIA AND MATT owners refuse to release the footage. Brendan then tells me that I need to follow up with them directly and gives me their contact info. I have serious concerns over their POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AS A WHOLE. How can a corporate entity tie their name to such a poor quality franchise owner??? I would NEVER recommend UBREAKIFIX in Glen Mills, Bryn Mawr or Wilmington, DE owned by the same two individuals. Due to their negligence and poor customer service, I am out almost $2000.00. read more

My iPhone screen was badly cracked and the camera lens cover was broken. I took it to uBreakiFix and was so happy to find out all the damage on the screen was just the screen protector. They didn't have the 14 plus in stock so I ordered the kit online and took it back in a few days. The guy working was very nice and repaired it all in 15 minutes-- no charge! I asked 3x if they could fix my Galaxy phone... odd model. They said yes .took it in they looked at it and said they would fix it. Would take 2 hours... Went back after 3 1/2 hours.. They said they tried to call me but.... I gave all my info when I arrived. They printed out my receipt and my telephone number was on it.. Walked in with an Xbox One model that wouldn't power up. One of the younger associates quickly diagnosed the issue to be a defective power supply, and offered to sell me a used one. The guy who was going to ring me up told me he usually would charge $99 for it, but because the "fix" was so easy, he'd give me a $20 discount for a grand total of $75. It sounded like a lot for an old model but I agreed to make the purchase. As he was in the back, I checked amazon to see what their prices were like. $25 dollars for a new power supply... I placed the order with amazon and promptly left before I could be rung up. I guess he thought I wouldn't check? Would not recommend especially if you're not totally savy with tech prices. read more

I brought my Samsung Galaxy in for a battery replacement. The person that checked me in said their printer was broken and they could not give me a receipt. The job was estimated to take 2 to 3 hours. I left my email with them, and they said they would email when it was done. About 3 hours later I get an email stating that they got very busy and were just starting my phone and should be done in 2 hours. Two hours later no word. It's getting late and the store will be closing soon. I drive down and I'm told the battery is replaced but the phone is not starting. It keeps rebooting over and over. I spoke with the owner, and he said it was probably a problem with the motherboard. When I brought the phone in it was fully operational. He said nothing they did could possibly have caused it. I disagreed. He was taking zero responsibility for the issue. He said I was told about the risk of something happening during the process. I was not told that. So that I wouldn't be charged for a battery replacement they removed the new battery and put the old back in. The store is now closed, and I don't have a functional phone. I drive to the nearest Verizon store and bought a new phone. Instead of spending $80 for a new battery, I spent $885 for a new phone. I tried working with their corporate customer service department to get some type of restitution but even their own customer service had difficulties getting anywhere with this store. Customer service ended up just closing the case. I then filed a complaint with the BBB. The store never responded to the BBB complaint and that also was closed. Bottom line: if you bring your device in for any type of service and for some reason it doesn't go well, don't expect them to do anything to rectify the problem. Very unprofessional. read more
