Yesterday I accidentally broke the screen on my son's iPad. This was a tragedy because he loves it and takes good care of it. First I went to UBreakifix because they came recommended and had good reviews (more on google than Yelp), but they would need to order the glass, 3-5 days and needed four hours for the repair. Not to mention that as I was taking back my son's iPad, their employee broke it into many pieces, whereas it had only been a single crack before. Next we tried here. They had the glass in stock. They were $40 less than the other place and they had it fixed in a little over an hour. Crisis averted! Son is happy again! The work is guaranteed for 90 days, in case anything isn't as it should be. I had a sticky Apple Magic Keyboard I tried repairing myself. I was able to unstick the keys, but I had trouble getting one of the smaller keys to stay attached. Bait and Switch Background: I have a older model iPhone (3GS) and have to wait until my contract runs out before I can upgrade and find a new carrier. Last weekend my phone stopped working. I went to my carrier who told me that because I was outside my warranty of 1 year that I needed to pay a deductible of $200. I thought that was steep for the same phone and instead went to iFixandRepair in Exton Mall on New Years Day and was told that the following day the tech who works on the those models would be in. $26 for analysis and if the port needed to be replaced it would be $75. So $100 bucks vs. $200 so I signed up. I was told the tech wasn't in on Tuesday but would be on Wed and they would call me with an update. Didn't here back most of the day on Wed. Called Wed night and was told that the tech was working on an emergency iPad fix and he would try to look at it afterwards. So on Thurs I called and spoke a tech for an update who said that on Friday a tech would be available. I explained that I had dropped off my phone on Tuesday and was told on Wed a tech would look at it to which she said my manager would call. Mgr called to tell me that indeed the phone had a been looked at and they couldn't determine what the issue is. This of course contradicted what I was told. I then told him that I saw a refurbed 3GS in their store and would be interested in buying it as it was still cheaper then the deductible. He said yes it was here and I went to the store and picked up. Please see the pics. The box says 3GS however the phone was a 3G. So when I got home I was looking at the phone and the performance was slow and when i checked out the model number it was not the same model I paid for. So I call them back to which the mgr (ie. Anthony) said it shouldn't be a problem but I need to speak to corporate on Monday. Well any manager should know the return policy and this smelled of b/s. I've worked customer service for 20 years so it was obvious something smelled funny. I read the receipt (see attached) and it was clear there was no sales are final listed in the receipt. So I went back the next day to return because I had a sneaky feeling corp would pull a 'all sales final' or 'store credit'. The mgr was surprised when I came in and I explained that I wasn't comfortable with transaction and I wanted to return the phone. He had explained to me earlier on the phone that the return shouldn't be an issue on the phone but he needed to speak to corp. So in person when I told him I was returning this he told me he wasn't he could refund the amount unless he spoke to corp. That he had written an email to them. He told me he didn't have authorization to this. He told me that he wasn't sure the credit would go thru. However funny enough, when he scanned my CC for the credit it went through. Really? I mean really? To make matters worse when I finally got the receipt of the credit he put his comments in stated 'all sales were final' (see attached). In summary this place might help you on fixing a broken screen but bait and switch is bait and switch. iPhone 5s repaired. Service was decent, even though it look longer than promised. However, the screen is cheap. It cracked a week later while in my pocket inside a case. I took my son down a slide and then looked at phone and saw the screen cracked. My wife had her iPhone 6 fixed at the Apple Store and it has endured hours of our son playing on it outside a case. In retrospect I should have spent the additional $30 to have it done by the pros. read more

Awesome! My iPhone 5s screen & sensor was broken. Sprint doesn't fix screens & the Apple Store refused as the sensor was broken. Went here on a recommendation. Tech was able to do magic & phone is completely fixed. Was in & out in approximately 30 mins. Eric does it again!!! My iPhone was experiencing near-sightedness. It would only focus on things close by but couldn't focus on things far away. Eric unfortunately didn't have any camera lens' in stock to repair my phone because they have been so busy lately (I wonder why....maybe because they're THE BEST at what they do?!) FYI...they just had their busiest Saturday in the last 3 yrs!!! Eric had ordered more camera lens' and emailed me when they came in. iFix and Repair have been servicing my family's iPhone damages ever since we converted to Apple, and we never looked back! Service is great and fast! They give you a price quote for what you want to be fixed, and never pressure for additional repairs. I have gotten touch screen fixed, Iphone button repaired, screen replacement ($100) and change battery ($42). I'm surprised they don't know me by name now. Professional and Fast Paid $60, saved $400, AND didn't have to start a new ATT 2 year contract with only a few months before the new iPhone comes out. Staff is super. Each member is polite and well spoken. Their experience and product knowledge level is high and they quickly diagnose. I really liked observing how respectfully the more experienced manager shared diagnostic tips with a newer employee. When we picked my phone up, there was yet another example of an employee assisting a newer employee with a question while she was attempting to ring up a sale. I went here to get a cracked screen fixed for my iPhone 5. It took about 45 minutes to replace, and when I picked it up, the technician ran through checking the buttons, Cameras, etc. Very quickly so I could sign off that only the screen was fixed and the phone was in the same working condition prior to the fix. After getting my phone home, I realized the back camera had been tampered with- my photos were coming out blurry around the edges, and it was very difficult for the camera to focus on anything. I am not sure if the camera was replaced, or is just off centered, but when I called to ask about what I could do about this, I got a response that they do not touch the back part of my phone to replace the screen. I mentioned that the technician had to take the battery out of my phone to shut it off, and was told that the battery was not located near the camera, so it was not something that they had done. I've gotten screens fixed at different kiosks in the mall and have paid less, have not had to wait, and walked away with no problems with my phone. I would definetly recommended going to one of those places before heading to iFix! read more

They fixed/replaced my earpiece on iphone 4s but left my phone with scratches all over the phone. When I confronted about the scratches on the screen, he was nonchalant about it and on top of it he says "we don't guarantee the screen or the condition of the phone during our work" or something to that effect. I took my iPhone 6 and 5 to IFix. I was charged $100 to repair the iPhone 6 and $30 for a case. The store says it offers a 90-day warranty. I returned to the store after 5 minutes because their repair did not work. The owner told me to take my iPhone to Verizon to ask what could be done. Verizon gave me a new phone. I brought in my iPhone 5 with a cracked screen. They also told me that the power button was broken, which I know, but told me to take it back to Verizon since I have insurance and it would be covered. I went to the Sprint store to get my daughter's iPhone fixed-the price they gave me was too much so I asked them what needed to be done and they said that it was just the glass that was broken. The price for the glass was a little much so I asked them about iFix in Exton. They said that they could fix it but that the quality was not as good. I decided to go to iFixandRepair and when I asked them about the quality, they said it was the same quality as the iPhone glass and that the Sprint guy was just trying to ruin their business and that he was a liar. The price of the glass at this store had gone up $20 in the past month because "apparently" " the Chinese had raised the price". So we went for this guys line and had him fix the glass for a substantial amount but, cheaper than Sprint. He told us that the glass had a 30 day warranty. We left and when my daughter looked at the phone the camera was not working. We took it back and he fixed the camera for an additional amount. Well, you get for what you pay for because 5 days later my daughter dropped her phone lightly on a kitchen counter and the glass broke. My daughter has an expensive Otter Box on her phone to protect it, I have one too and I have dropped my phone countless of times and it has never broken. She had dropped her iPhone countless times in the past and never broken it. She went back to the store and she was told that there is only a 30 day warranty on if the phone doesn't work because of the new glass and not the glass itself. They refused to replace the glass. These guys are scoundrels and I learnt a lesson from this. Cheaper isn't better. At least if I had paid more at the Sprint store, I would have had a better quality glass with a real warranty and they wouldn't be able to get away with cheating the customer because they have a reputation to uphold. My Kindle Fire was not able to charge properly. They repaired the port, but it didn't last. Less than 1 year and it stopped working totally. I brought it back and was informed that they only do a 15 DAY guarantee for my type of repair. This was not communicated at the time of repair (my fault for not reading the fine print).
