The guys at Phone Repair Plus on MacDade in Folsom - Ridley across from Rita's are a god send! My IPhone XR got run over. Yes run over and screen shattered. I thought was trashed. They were up front and honest that there would be no charge if couldn't repair & all possibilities. And they have magic hands. Saved me probably $400+ and my phone at the holidays. Gave me a few tips with apple products while talking and repairing. I highly recommend these guys. I am so grateful! read more

I can't thank the gentleman that work in this store. They are so nice and professional. I walked in with my daughter's IPad, it wasn't charging. I was waited on immediately took the IPad fixed in seconds and was done. Could't ask for better service then that. Price perfect. Thanks again read more

These guys are great! My repairs were done in a timely fashion with costs matching exactly what was clearly stated on their very well organized website. They are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and affordable. This is the place to go if you need any type of screen repair, as they fix phones, tablets and even cameras. Apple would have charged us double what we paid here. We called Bestbuy and were put on hold forever with no one ever picking up...Very happy we found THIS repair shop! read more

Based on the great reviews, I thought I would bring in a family members phone to get the broken glass repaired. I called first as I live nearby but could not recall the place at all. The call was a bit odd as they did not answer as if a business and seemed annoyed when I tried to verify. Maybe I have the wrong place, I thought? I reread the reviews. Yep, this is supposedly the place so I ventured to visit. So in the car I went. I passed the place twice. This place does not have curb appeal and shares the tech business with the used tool business. Yes, you can buy a used Makita, as in drill, here. Weird, but this is the place. I am trusting my fellow yelpers. The tech guy never turned from his station as the guy who took the phone cordially explained that it might be 40 mins as opposed to the typical 20 mins to fix the phone. Is that Ok, he asked? Sure, though I had to ask for a receipt for leaving my phone. In 40 mins, the phone was done for a higher price than indicated on their website - they forgot to update, but $80 is a lot cheaper than a new phone. Strangeness aside, I would go out of my way to return. Good, fast, competent service- hence 5 stars. read more

My Mom was having issues with her 'very old' iPhone & not ready to part with it. Phone Repair Plus Folsom/Ridley was referred them. I spoke to Mes in the morning to explain the problems she was having as well as get directions. My folks drove in from DE. Mes & the entire staff was professional, patient, friendly & knowledgeable. Huge relief! read more

Took my mom's iPhone 5 here to get fixed. I was expecting to have to drop it off and come back the next day, but they did while I waited! It took less than a half an hour. The guys there were pretty cool and even let me watch while it got fixed!! There are other places closer to me, but half of them didn't pick up the phone. These guys answered and were very professional! Would definitely recommend! !!! read more

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Rude, slow service. I would definitely not recommend this business to anyone who is looking for competent computer repairs. Stick with Best Buy!! read more

I got a great deal on a Samsung flat screen! Pretty good selection of tablets as well. Wait in comfy seats while they work.

I would not recommend this business! Could not figure out what was wrong with my computer! Took 2 weeks to finally figure out what was wrong with it! Owner was very unbusiness like!!! read more

A friend was in town from the UK and had a LG Nexus five with a smashed screen. He took it to this place to get it repaired and was very happy with their ability to do so. He thought that it would be difficult to find someone that was able to make the repair, do it well and do it quickly. But this place was able to do it and apparently it's a bigger deal than I'm realizing but he told me that that it's not an easy phone to get fixed. Way to go. read more

Just got my iPhone 6 fixed within 20min for $110. Very excellent services and very friendly tech. I highly recommend this shop.

My phone's extended warranty company, Square Trade, recommended I bring my phone here for repair. They needed to order the display in for my S7 Edge, (which developed the dreaded pink line) and did, without requiring a deposit. When it arrived, they told me it would be about an hour to complete the repair. I dropped it off, ran some errands, and went back in an hour, and picked up a fixed phone! Thank you so much for the great service (And they include a 90 day warranty.) read more

Highly recommended! This was my second time getting my Samsung screen repaired in about 6 months.....I am pretty rough on electronics. They did an amazing job. The screen was quickly repaired. I was told it would take about 40 minutes, but it was much quicker. Very fair price for the screen replacement and curteous staff. I am sure I will be back. read more

Honest tablet repair! We thought our daughter's ipad was broken (and was prepared to pay for a pull repair), but they tested the charging chord and found the problem there. I would recommend highly for fast, friendly, and honest service!! read more

I thought my phone was done for good. The screen was completely detached from the back and I'd never seen a phone that bad. I expected them to tell me there was nothing they could do but they fixed it in 15 minutes for $75. So glad I found this place!! read more

The location kind of sneaks up on you, but if you look for Rita's Water Ice, its right across the street. There's always parking. I started using them last year, 2015, because my sons started breaking their phones that have ridiculous insurance deductibles. I've been a regular since. They're quick, accurate and informative, they really do know their trade and even help with advice on things that I'm not there for. Their pricing is reasonable and accurate. At one point a friend told me they went to a different place for a cheaper price, so I called the other place, they told me a cheaper price over the phone (it was an iPhone 6s at the time), I drove to the other place and when I got there they told me a higher price that the person on the phone gave me misinformation. -_- really ... I left that store and drove here and still had time to get my phone fixed because they're open until 7pm which is also great because of my work hours. Needless to say I haven't ventured out to any other repair store since other than here - Phone Repair Plus. One time out of at least 6 times I've used them so far, after they fixed my son's phone I brought it home to him and I didn't know his password and when he turned it on he realized the screen was not registering when he pressed certain digits. I brought the phone right back and they fixed it, no questions asked, and it was good to go. They also give a warranty. The people are friendly and down to earth. Well I guess that's it, they're great and my go-to repair store! Been using them for a while so I figured it was yelp-worthy! Thanks! read more

Do not go to these guys. The tech guys were nice but the manager or whoever is running it is pathetic. I went to get my iPhone screen fixed which cost me $145 and they said it would take 45 mins. I went back and they told me another hour and then still waited another 30 mins. And then after a few days of having it, the screen wasn't working and was being faulty so I wasn't going back to them since they screwed me over on time and didn't do it right the first time. I went to Apple and got it replaced by the professionals. Afterwards I called this place back and told them I wanted my money back and they told me I should've came back to them. Why would I ? To wait another 3 hours to fix it and then a high chance of having it faulty again? This is an $800 phone and I wasn't letting them screw with it again after screwing up the first time. And then would have to pay again for more screen protectors and everything else to make sure my phone was good and working ? The dude gave me every excuse in the book as to why it could not be working. The least he could do is refund my money. read more

I originally had high hopes for this place. The staff I met when I first walked in were responsive and accommodating. I had a broken glass fixed on an iPad mini. After the very reasonably priced repair I had a problem with "ghost clicks". I brought it back and they explained it was due to a cable under the glass that they could fix. Upon receiving it back I noticed that the Home button was not working well. Also my glass was coming off the iPad. I brought it to another place for repair and they told me whoever did the last repair had broken the Home button housing from the glass and tried to fix that using glue. That is really unacceptable. They did the first repair poorly and in trying to fix that problem they broke the home button and then tried to cover it up using glue. I will not go back there. read more

I busted my power port on my Galaxy S4. I thought I was going to have to dish out a few hundred bucks for a new phone even though I was holding out for an S8 (if and when that happens). I found this joint online and gave it a whirl. They fixed the port and told me if I had any issues for 90 days that I could bring it back. I had a reception issue and brought it back a week later. They replaced the port with a different type that was more compatible with my phone. They explained to me that there are diiferent types of ports and sometimes some do not work properly on certain S4 phones. They swapped it out in like 10 minutes and everything works as good as new. 50 bucks, can't beat that ! I even had a tablet that had a battery problem and they told me it would cost more than the tablet was worth to fix and I could buy a replacement tablet cheaper online. That shows integrity. They replace screens and other parts too. read more

These guys are legit, up front and provide great customer service! I took my iPhone in after it stopped working and they immediately began working on it. They were open with me on what they were trying to do to fix it and how long it would take. Unfortunately, the phone was not able to be fixed but it was not due to lack of trying different things on their part. For all their time and service, they only charged me $10 dollars which was a relief and very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them for any issues you might be having with your phone or device - my scenario had to be an outlier because these guys definitely know their stuff. read more

Phone Repair Plus is awesome! I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 active that has a shattered screen, the first thing I would say is they are the only company with in PA that carries a new screen without having to order one, second they are extremely reasonable with the price I did not need the screen because I'm sending my phone back to the manufacture but they were kind enough to temporarily put the new screen on my phone just so I can access the information I needed. The staff and the owner are extremely professional and really kind and willing to help you out in any way possible. I'm not going to get into how much I paid but I can assure you it was way less than what other companies were wanting to charge. If there was an option to rate this company more than 5 stars I would without a doubt would do it. I recommend anyone and everyone who has a problem with any electronic device to give this place a shot. read more
