Minestrone soup and a small garden salad without olives cheese or dressing.
Andrew G.

My son and I came in on a Sunday. It wasn't very busy and took them a few minutes to seat us. I got minestrone and a small garden salad without cheese olives or dressing. The salad was bigger than I expected it was crisp and cold. A little wet but I enjoyed it. The minestrone was good. It was probably the highlight of the meal for me. My son got a kid cheese pizza which was a pretty big portion for a little guy. I ended up eating one slice of it. It was pretty cheesy and a bit doughy but he enjoyed it. All in all I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't stand out but it was a perfectly fine dining experience.

Small pizza. Pepperoni and Jalapeno

We were passing through Bishop and we were craving Italian. We saw the couple of options of The Upper Crust and the Pizza factory. Glad we went to the Upper Crust! Pizza was delicious, crust was light. My wife had the special and loved the salad and spinach lasagna. Tasted like a grandmother trattoria made the food. Place is great for couples and families! Do not be fooled by the name of pizza! They offer entire Italian cuisine.

The Wave Pizza and I added pepperoni, it was SO Good! I'll definitely stop here again on my road trip!

The service was great, and the food tasted amazing! I'll definitely be back! Got a pitcher of beer for under 20!

Been here twice in the last 2 months and I can not complain. The staff was friendly and the food was great. We ordered a garden salad, antipasta salad, garlic bread and wings. The place is nice for families and big groups. Only suggestion is add a little more toppings to the pizza. Overall great place and we will be coming back for a 3rd time

It's golden hour and the winter sun is pouring over the peaks of the Eastern Sierras through the large windows onto our table. It's pizza time!! We've been coming to Upper Crust for years and I'm happy to say that the food is as good now as it was before the pandemic. Do yourself a favor and order the dry wings (no sauce) and a salad to get your meal headed in the right direction. The Diablo Pizza is probably my favorite pizza at any restaurant. The shrimp, feta, herbs and spicy kick make this pizza extremely unique and scrumptious! The Sierra wave, loaded with artichoke and other briny veg is also one of our all time favorites. Honestly, it doesn't matter which pizza you order, because when the chef tosses that heavenly dough up in the air, you will realize that upper crust pizza is all about the perfect fluffy, crispy, and flavorful pie no matter how you like to dress it up.

Beer and salads are good, however pizza was dry. A little more sauce would have felt more hearty. Maybe it was just that might.

This place is excellent. I haven't been in Bishop for over 35 years! Traveling through from Arizona…read moreto Chico. I decided to stop here. No regrets! I had the sampler platter 28 bucks! Tri-tip, brisket, and rib ribs. Came with two sides and a huge slab of cornbread! The ribs and the brisket do not need any sauce whatsoever. The smoke ring on both of them was perfect and gave it perfectly good smoked flavor throughout. Hopefully it won't take me another 35 years to swing through Bishop to try this again! Service was great you order at the counter and they take your food to you. Quite a good bottled beer selection.

The meal also came with a piece of cornbread. The cost of the sampler is $28. Brisket had a decent bark, although im not certain both sides of the brisket was seasoned but it was pretty tender. The smoke on the brisket was pretty aggressive, leaving ALMOST a bitter taste. Thankfully, I like a pretty aggressive smoke. Nice smoke flavor on the tri tip but also seemed to lack seasoning. Was otherwise pretty good. The sausage ended up tasting pretty good! The beans might have been ever so slightly undercooked, but otherwise tasted good. The mac and cheese says it is baked, but honestly, its hard to tell aside from the burnt cheese on top. Other than that, it was alright. The best part of the experience was the servers. They were super friendly and regularly checked on the guests. All in all, the food was just ok. Not sure it would be my first choice in eating spots in town though, especially considering the prices.
