Placed an online order and it was easy as can be! The pizza was ready when it was promised, only about 20-25minutes. It was end of night and still pretty busy. Staff were friendly and most of all the food was delicious! For gluten free pizza, it was good and the sauce was tasty. The greek salad was delish as well!! read more

Went to upper crust because it was close by. Server took our drink order and as we were talking I noticed two other tables being set and they had their drinks and one woman had her salad already before we even got our drinks. Ordered the eggplant parmesan . It was one slice of eggplant on top of spaghetti and the sauce had green peppers in it which ruined it. It did come with a salad which I just took home. Definitely not worth the $15 I would think twice about ordering anything but Pizza there which is okay . I normally don't write bad reviews but this was pretty bad. read more

Today's service industry says volumes about the business management and owners and what they allow and how important the customer is. Well tonight I learned how important I am to Upper Crust! I had a terrible experience where the server (I was sitting at the bar) who was never behind the bar, didn't pay any attention to us upon taking our order. No how are your drinks, can I get you anything, how is your food....... Nothing. Even when I paid another server who saw my credit card out and processed payment, the original server never said a thing! Of course I had to share my disappointment with the manager who said "it's noted"! Well, I've noted it too.... I'll never go back! Walking out, the server still did not even say thank you....... Ordered some Baked Ziti to go. Got it home and it was a small portion presented on a thin foil sheet. Lost much of the meager portion stuck to the ripped up foil. The ziti itself was ok. Maybe eaten in the restaurant it would present better. Not a good value for the expense. read more

Went into restaurant this evening to redeem a free pizza from an order that was completely wrong a few months ago. Assistant manager advises she cannot find mine, or my husband's name or phone in their book. I showed her my phone with my notes from the date of wrong order and their staff members name who I spoke to via phone. I was advised that person I spoke to isn't a manager and didn't have authority to offer a free pizza as result from the previous order gone wrong. There was no attempt to make it right , except say she'd speak with general manager at another time. At that point , I was extremely frustrated (and also food getting cold) and advised her I wouldn't be back, paid and left. It's extremely disappointing that the assistant manager proceeded to keep discounting the information I shared with her and I even explained to her how wrong our original order was a few months ago. Meh. Pizza was just ok. Ordered a takeout today - "without onions". I'd have maybe thought it was a mistake if the pie had a ton of onions, yet each slice had three or four. Kind of hard to see how that was a mistake, or how that might be an accident. The two slices I did have were just ok. Either way, the whole thing went in the trash. My wife was in the mood for a chicken wrap and so we went here yesterday afternoon for lunch. Somehow, this came to $50 including two iced teas and two side salads (not pictured). Pictured is "baked ziti" which looked like it was made out of a hospital cafeteria - very bland, cold & old looking. Second, is a "chicken pizza wrap" that again lacked a massive amount of flavor. Teas were on the warm side with no ice and not as sweet as we thought. Salads were horrible! Service was nice, though. Place is very clean. Fries were the only thing that was decent. Dont think we would go back. Food was definitely not worth $50 for LUNCH. Sorry, I'm sure there are better places in town. read more

I'm not one to write scorching reviews. Had a couple eggplant parms with little sauce. Asked for a bit more sauce, and they charged me for it. So instead of going nuts on a review, I wrote the manager a nice letter saying that it was "ticky tacky" to charge someone for more sauce when the meal should have had more (none on the eggplant at all) Been 2 weeks no response. Left my number and address on letter. Tumbleweeds. To me, I think that says something about how little management cares. Food was only ok. Went to a nearby restaurant on a Thursday evening and the wait was 45 mins, so we went to Upper Crust and so glad that we did. The Fat Boy pizza was excellent (thicker crust and we ordered half mushroom/ half jalapeños), cooked perfectly. The Greek Salad was fresh and crisp. The beer was nice and cold. The staff was very polite and the service was great. We will certainly return on our next visit. read more

If you are hungry for a cardboard soaked in grease and covered with the cheapest cheese possible, then this is your place. I LOVE PIZZA! And tonight we decided (family of 5) to try something different. Well I regret giving them my money! To begin, their over priced cheese bread consist of half of a hoogie with cheese melted on it. Kids pizza was exacting the same but I asked ahead of time so that was expected. Now down to the pizza, something this week out post op mom was looking forward to. First pizza was a large, pepperoni with half sausage and extra cheese. Received 2 of the 3 toppings correct no extra cheese. Second pizza, medium with white sauce with chicken and black olives. This one was a TRAIN WRECK! No chicken on it, the black olives tasted like they were soaking in fish water, the cheese was baked on no chee, the cheese. Now I feel like I need to throw up which goes perfectly with after having my stomach cut open a week ago. Save your money I do not recommend this place AT ALL! read more

We have been supporting them for so long and the gal n guy staff are so sweet n trying to do their best. But waiting to get a table cleared took 30 mins. Booths dirty and people actually walking out tired of wait. They can not take care of the pick up pies and table service! They even closed down three tables as I guess they trying to reduce customers. The booths are still not cleared.! Where are the owners??, she was always walking around n helping. Had the pepperoni pizza with extra cheese last night. Our service and food were great.

It's always challenging to find good pizza in this area. The Upper Crust is pretty good pizza. The crust itself isn't really thin and crispy, but it is very tasty and not soggy. My wife and I split a medium with half onion and half mushroom. It came out with 8 slices on a 12" pizza and had a great taste. Nice and cheesy as well. They have a full service bar and make excellent drinks. For beer, there are only 6 on draft and no craft beers (except if you want to include Yuengling). They did have Southern Barrel's Damn Yankee IPA in cans. They are a bit pricey for a pizza joint, but not excessive. They have some interesting specialty pies including the Frogmore which is topped with shrimp and sweet Italian sausage and onions for $19.95 medium pie. Their menu states they sell slices, but only between 11am and 5 pm. The staff was very friendly and appreciative of your business. read more

Ordered take out on a Monday night. Took much longer than the 1/2 hr quoted. No option for ziti with the chicken or eggplant Parm dinners, only spaghetti, which looked more like fettuccine. I hesitate to write this as my reviews are usually positive however this had to be done. Hoping that this well help the restaurant to take a look at their food objectively. CHICKEN PARM: this is the absolute worst chicken Parm meal that I have ever seen, we actually threw it out without even trying it. Two small pieces of chicken probably about 3 ounces each, about a half inch thick, soft, not crisp at all, gravy (tomato sauce) looked more like tomato soup then sauce. Barely any cheese on the chicken which looked like it was fried in some thing that chicken shouldn't be fried in. Minimal sauce. EGGPLANT PARM: only ONE thick greasy piece of eggplant, coated in something thick, not crispy. No cheese on top to speak of. Horrible, I did taste this one. Threw it out. STUFFED SHELLS: small size, lightly stuffed with standard ricotta mix, taste was not bad, 3 shells in the lunch portion. GARLIC BREAD was hot dog rolls. Seriously! Lol!!! Suggest googling chicken, eggplant Parm and garlic bread images and going for the looks pictured. Didn't try the pizza, the reviews look good, would be open to trying that sometime. read more
