Asked if they had sugar and looked at me like two heads. They were slammed with customers though. And this was 2:30. The worst part was the cleanliness. Floor extremely sticky in restrooms. I had a delicious chicken avocado bowl with all the fixings. Raven, the manager, was fabulous, helpful, and served us fast, like always. Unfortunately we were told Cava doesn't allow rice on the pita anymore, which we found very odd.... Can people just get what they like?! Cava please change this rule, we just want rice. Why offer it on the side, waste the plastic to put rice in, just for us to dump it on top ourselves? Unnecessary. This cava was one of the best I've been to. Servers were excellent. They gave you exactly what you wanted in a build your own bowl. They asked if we wanted to wait as they were out of white sweet potatoes. As we waited, they gave us a free drink for the inconvenience. The food was really good as usual and consistent. I truly enjoyed my experience at this location! I I decided I wanted a bowl and wanted to go with choosing greens as my base. The employee who helped me was kind and attentive. Online ordered spicy lamb bowl for my ma with some free pita chips I had on the app. Later I show up like 10 mins after allotted pickup time and they still didn't have food ready. My food is finished soon after but they didn't have any pita chips made and said they'd be out soon. Waited about 5 minutes then just took the loss and had no pita chips. However I got home and there aren't any meatballs in my ma's bowl, like not a single one. I don't know how you can't put protein in a bowl but it's too hard to do here. Dining at CAVA at the Tanger outlets Hilton Head was a meal I didn't expect to blow me away. This is my favourite meal during my Hilton Head 2-day trip in mid December. It was on a Friday evening and unlike the previous reviews, we had no issues with line ups. I hope they expand to Canada someday. Incredible value, fast, healthy and delicious. A rare combo to find. This is the cheapest meal we had on our trip. It is a newly rebranded chain (previously Zoe's Kitchen). A bold challenge to be directly beside Chipotle, which also serves fast-casual bowls and burritos. We ordered the new Balsamic Date Chicken Bowl, Greek chicken wrap, pita chips, pineapple and mint juice. All the meals were topped and mixed with delicious sauces and a medley of chopped veggies. Our pita chips are seasoned, thick yet crispy and came with many dips that all sounded good. The staff helped us narrow the decision with his favourite, the roasted red pepper hummus and feta dip. Yum! CAVA holds its own, and I might just prefer it more than Chipotle. read more

Adding a side of pita is an option and this is a MUST with a side of the garlic sauce - both are to die for. On top of delicious food - Maine Root drinks are on tap. I am a fan of the Diet Mexicane Cola. They also have some house made options. I went with Pineapple Apple Mint and it didn't disappoint. BIG cava fan. The food is always fresh and filling. I always go with the salad base and sometimes add some lentils. The lamb is great but the grilled chicken is my go to. I used to eat at Zoes where I'm from before it changed to CAVA. I thought the food was good and the lined moved well for being lunchtime. It was fresh and I liked being able to build a bowl. I just think similar to chipotle, I would skip the chicken next time. Just too shady if you're not a big meat eater. They don't have a veggie plate with the hummus and soft pita and I missed that. Went for the first time last night. The staff is very friendly and helpful, some appear new. We got 2 bowls to go. Great choices of lettuce, grains, meats or not and toppings and dressings. One steak mezze bowl which we loved! The other bowl was vegetarian. It was full of my hand picked stuff, mostly all was excellent and interesting to try new things. My only problem was the black lentils and the falafel were very over salted. My family was looking for a lighter lunch, because I don't want greasy food when it's 100° outside. I searched "salad" near me on Yelp. Cava popped up, it was less than a mile away, so we tried it! Everything was super clean, food all looked fresh, and the staff was patient with us (it took us a minute to order being our first time). We ordered 3 different bowls, with 3 different proteins, and they were all amazing. I honestly didn't know Cava was there because this weekend. It's tucked behind the Chipotle in the Tanger1 outlet, so you can't see it from the street. Before we even left the restaurant my 8 year old asked when we could come back! Well, for starters I usually love CAVA and was looking forward to coming here for lunch during my spring break vacation. At Tanger Outlets 1, I show up to get some lunch at 1 pm on a Sunday. I go to open the doors and they're locked, during prime lunch hours at a busy mall. Not only were the doors locked, but there was staff inside doing NOTHING while we watched multiple people try to go in the same entrance we did. The hours posted on the door said 10:30am-10pm EVERY day unless it is a holiday. I also called CAVA and it said the same thing. I am severely disappointed in this establishment and the lack of organization to be opening more than two hours late on a busy day. read more

This was my third time experiencing CAVA for lunch and I loved the ease of ordering, the flavors, and the staff experience. Not everything went right but at the end of the day, all is good. CAVA offers easy online ordering and pick up. The office I work at ordered lunch from CAVA today, all placed and paid for individually with one person going to pick it all up. No issues! I made my own rice/lentil bowl with falafel and braised lamb with a bunch of other things added. Special mention to the braised lamb and eggplant dip, so delicious! All ingredients tasted fresh and balanced. There were however a few issues with my and some of my coworkers' orders. I was told by the person who picked up our order that there was just ONE person working trying to keep up with everything. A few mistakes are understandable in the short run but the owner needs to help figure something out because being understaffed may have a huge negative impact on the employees, customers, and the ultimately the business. I love CAVA and want it to be around for a long time! That being said, I did call the restaurant about my order and they were very kind, professional, and made it right for me. I ordered a bowl with meat ball that was not much flavor and doesn't taste good compared to other CAVA. Also my husband didn't like it at all. Its seems like maybe they have a supply chain issue and no one really notifies you when you order that they are out of crucial ingredients until after the fact. When you ask for a refund since the main ingredient is out of stock, you are told someone will have to call you...which never happens. If I could give zero stars I would. This is the absolute worst cava I have ever ever been in. I walk in and all the staff is just standing around laughing with eachother. My order was supposed to be ready at 2 o'clock, I actually ordered it ahead giving them over 25 minutes. I waited over 15 minutes for my order. A worker looks at me and assured me the back was making my order; when they in fact weren't. They were out of half the items needed for my order so I had to wait even longer. We often place pickup orders and the last few we have always had to go back and correct our orders/ask for missing items. In no way should that result in a problem for the customer. Not refunding for food you did not provide us crazy. And none of the bowls were made correctly. No dressing put on. My daughter loves Cava so I thought I'd try. The food was ok. Got the steak + feta pita. Steak was cold. Other than that it was ok. Biggest complaint is the speed. SSSSSLOW. Probably wouldn't come again. Also, the trash was overflowing and many of the tables weren't clean. Not cool. read more

I have been twice. The first time the service was good and the food tasty if not very overpriced. The lady who served me knew I had never been before and she helped me by explaining what everything was. She should have told me that everything she offered me was added cost. Lol. They bowl that was 10.50 came to $22 dollars because of up charges on the items she offered. I also ordered a pita chip which was like 3.00 so after tax it was $27.00 bucks which is extremely pricey for a quick lunch. Regardless it was very good. The second time i went, it was for dinner and I knew what I was doing and only ordered the items I liked. They were out of a few items or unwilling to refresh the bar so I was limited in what I could get. The staff was not as friendly as the lunch crew or helpful. They seemed bothered that any of the customers were there. I ordered two sides of the pita chips. And my bill came to $17. It wasn't nearly as good and the pita chips were so over cooked they were hard dark brown triangle sheet rock. I'm in town visiting family and I've been hearing about CAVA for a while and I'm fresh off of the plane starving so I told my family let's stop in. Funny enough this location is directly next to Chipotle and my family keeps suggesting we go there and I firmly insisted we try something new! As soon as we walk in, we're immediately greeted by Julie! I told her I had never had CAVA and how I visiting after having such a heart warming conversation for a while and her explaining the menu, her favorites, customers favorites, etc. I know we made the perfect choice coming in! Everyone on the food line was also super helpful and patient. The food was sooo amazing, super fresh, seasoned, tasteful definitely didn't disappoint at all. I also tried the Blueberry Lavender mixed with Pineapple Apple Mint lemonade, a game changer! I will most definitely be back before I leave town again. I've never seen such a measly amount. I might as well go to chipotle if I want to be ripped off. They're always out of the sauces too. How can you be out of sauce at 11:30am even before lunch hour? My second time here, wont be a third for quite some time. First of all, the place is not very clean. The line people don't change their gloves and directly handle the meat. So they touch countertops, cabinet handles, refrigerator handles, bottled drinks, then grab your meat with the gloved hand...yuck! We joined the line with about eight people in it when we got there. It moves slowly. Apart from the the lack of good food handling practice, the biggest problem on this visit was they were out of so many items: "right rice" , "Greek dressing" and pickled onions among many if you can believe it-- all three staple ingredients in many of their dishes.
