I highly recommend The Ultimate Tree Service. Owner is Eric. I used his services last year for my huge Ficus tree and removal of another Ficus in my back yard. Eric's crew did a great job then. Today they came back & trimmed my huge tree again and removed a dead lemon tree & cut down another Ficus. Our last summer really hurt my poor trees. Great job & Eric's prices are very affordable. Eric is very timely and accountable. Call Eric at The ultimate Tree Service for any tree services you need. They won't disappoint ! Thanks Eric read more

I have had UltimateTree trim and remove my trees for several years. This company gets it right every time. The owner is very communicative and friendly. Thank you. Larry read more

We could not be happier with the service that Eric and his team provided. We had one very dead saguaro and one that was in the process of dying rapidly. This summer has been brutal! But, Ultimate Tree Service took care of the huge saguaro and it's little brother and left behind no evidence of the decay and mess. We appreciate their work ethic, their pricing, their communication, and their cleanliness. Thanks so much. read more

The Ultimate Tree Service has trimmed trees for me a couple of times and removed trees for me on two occasions. Every time I have reached out, Eric has followed up quickly and gotten me on his calendar without a long wait. The crew has always shown up on time, they work quickly, and when they are done there isn't a stray leaf left behind. When they remove a tree, you can't tell there was ever a tree there to begin with. They are always my first and last call for tree service read more

Eric and his team were fantastic! Consultation - he was on time, work was agreed, scheduled and then also completed on time. Clean-up done very well and every aspect of the job process was excellent. Very fair pricing and we even had a small follow up issue with one tree several days after he left, and he came back and took care of it immediately. Very very happy customer and highly recommended. read more

Eric is amazing! I was telling my daughter that he's such a likeable and friendly person, that I don't even mind giving him my money! I texted him my address on a Sunday, thinking he'd take contact me Monday/Tuesday; but he called me within the hour! Matter of fact, he even drove by my house, looked at the tree in question and called me WITH a quote, so we could talk about it right there! His crews just left - they took down a 50-60 foot palo verde tree in my front yard, it was gone in no time! His crew were all communicating with each other, which I liked - so I knew everything would be covered, safe and insured. I recommend him ... remember he's very friendly and know what he's doing! Thanks Eric! read more

Tree removal, general trimming. Eric the owner is great to work with, the crew is fast and reasonable pricing.

I have nothing but positives to say about Eric and The Ultimate Tree Service. Eric has been servicing my home in south Tempe for the past two years and has done a wonderful job of keeping the trees neatly shaped, trimmed away from the house/roof, and also trims + skins the palm trees. Eric is very responsive to phone calls and provides top notch customer service. A recent example of this is that I had a large cactus topple over during the recent heavy rainstorms. I called Eric on Sunday afternoon and he came out first thing Monday morning to assess and figure out a solution. read more

Eric and his crew are awesome. I needed my neighbor's Ironwood trimmed off my property. He was able to schedule me within the following week (mid-April 2020). His crew was careful to not trim past my property line and remained professional despite the neighbor recording them. Cleaned up quickly and even skimmed the pool too. Highly recommend! read more

They cleaned the yard nicely (my mom hired them). But horrible as a tree service. They chopped out the entire middle of the tree, and left long, hanging branches on the outside. It looks awfuland is in shock. I 'm not sure if it will survive. She won't use them again. read more

We have had many tree companies over the 25 years of living in this house, from horriblle to ok. Our last one disappeared so a friend recommended this company. We have a huge yard and lots of work needed. Eric and his crew came on time, were reasonably priced, followed our instructions to the T, replaced yard furniture that they needed to move, cleaned up, all in a very short time. One of our pet peeves of other services is pushing us to have more work done than we needed or wanted. We were very glad that Eric respected our wishes. We plan to use them again! Thanks so much read more

Excellent work removing a large pine tree from the back yard. Eric and his team removed the tree, ground the stump in less than 3 hours. No trace left behind. Low price, quality work. read more

Eric and his crew were efficient and did a fantastic job of trimming our trees and adjacent neighbors trees. I would highly recommend them.

Came home today to find a massive mess in front of my property and sidewalk. Couldn't figure out what the mess came from, then noticed my neighbor had their palm trees cut. Fortunately I was able to check my security cameras and noticed The Ultimate Tree Service crew is who not only made the mess to begin with, but decided to blow the mess all the way across the street to appear to the paying customer they didn't leave said mess. Shame on you Ultimate Tree Service. Have some respect! read more

We live in Chandler and have about 20 trees on our 1/2 acre property. We do all of our own yard work but once a year we have Eric and his wonderful crew, come trim the palms and various trees. He is a little more costly than some of the independent companies but he has the only crew that is fast, super friendly and clean. They bring a cherry picker and chipper and don't leave marks on my palms or debris in the yard. In fact, my yard looks better than before they got there. The best part is, we bought our home in 2014 from a couple who built the house new in the 80's, raised their son here, and moved to travel in an RV after over 30 years. Eric knew them and when we moved in, he introduced himself and now we use him. Very professional, responsive and well worth the cost. Until you have Eric and his crew trim your trees, you've only been cheating yourself. read more

We hired The Ultimate Tree Service to clean up several trees on my property, including a few citrus trees, three California Fan Palms, a large Olive tree, two pineapple palms, and fig tree and some miscellaneous others. We'll most likely be using them every year from here on out. read more

The Ultimate Tree Service has been maintaining my trees for 2 years. After interviewing and getting 3 estimates these guys were almost half of the other estimates. I have one tree that leans and they have helped me maintain it so it doesn't have to be cut down. They were prompt did a great job. When the job was completed they did a great job of cleaning up all the debris. They have also maintained all the trees at my church and have done a great job there as well. I highly recommend them. It is a small business worth supporting. read more

Another one of those companies that puts fliers on your door. Walks through your yard to leave trash for the wind to blow around. Very annoying, would never do business with a company that does this. Trespassing and littering! read more

You show up in my neighborhood at 5:45am 8/15/17. Trucks clanging in the alley. You start up your wood chipper - Loud as HELL. Then you run branches through it and it gets unbearable...it is now 5:55am. I go outside to remind your workers that it is not even 6am yet and to give residents a break... Your workers do not care-- Ultimate Tree Services, do you care? I will never use your service because of this. Disrespect for people trying to sleep. Also, I noticed NONE of your workers, save for one that had a dust mask on, had PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment) No Fall Protection while up in the articualting lift, no Safety Glasses. What kind of an outfit are you running? You certainly dont care about the residents and their PEACE, and it looks like you couldnt give a dam n about your employees either.... read more

Did a great job. Reasonable prices, worked fast, and cleaned up everything. Showed up when they said they would for the estimate and the work. I'd use them again. read more

Eric and his team were awesome! They did a great job and very reasonable price for tree trimming. Eric was such a great guy to talk with you and will come out and give you an honest estimate. Despicable scum. Their cherrypicker just pulled our phone line down while I was underneath it. The driver and crew were well aware, and still sped off...I wonder why? I can't imagine using such a dangerous and careless company for landscaping. read more

I have used the ultimate tree service for almost 10 years. They do a great job at trimming and removal of tree's. I have had them remove four trees and they do an excellent job. They are quick and do a wonderful job at clean up. I see them twice a year for trimming and couldn't be happier. read more

I would never do business with a company like this, in my opinion. They leave flyers in the doors and all over which blow around and make a huge mess. This method to obtain business negatively impacts the neighborhood. Also, even though soliciting is protected by the First Amendment under free speech for commercial purposes, the solicitor has restrictions based on his/her activities. It does not allow solicitors to trespass onto an individual's property that has clearly labeled signs that say "No Soliciting or No Trespassing". In this case, walking through an individual's garden or courtyards is considered trespassing. read more

Had several estimates from companies and decided on their service. The price was excellent and I was informed when they would be out to remove a mesquite(overgrown) in the front yard. Next on my to do list, palms in the back yard. read more

I left a message at 6am and called them again at noon. It is now about 5pm and I haven't gotten a response yet. This company may be a great company, but it seems to be loosing a lot of business from the lack of customer service. read more

I needed to have my olive tree trimmed up after a micro burst knocked two branches down. The tree is 50+ years old, healthy, and well established. Date of service: June 9, 2017 Date of return: July 18, 2017 When the crew arrived I told them it just need trimming and a clean up and that the tree shaded the front of the house. When I saw it after the "pruning," I almost cried (see photos). The tree was over pruned, had bad cuts (looks like they cut half way through and then broke the rest), they topped the tree, they ruined the structure of the tree, and they left only a few branches with green on them. Two weeks later, the green branches were dead. I asked the owner, Eric, to come out and tell me what to do about the branches. The first words out of his mouth were "this looks bad. It's not my fault." Before that, I wasn't assigning blame. I just need information. I assumed, wrongly, that he was a certified arborist and that his crew was knowledgeable. Now my tree has little chance of recovery and may have to be removed. The fact that the owner is not taking responsibility for the damage is troubling. I have since had two CERTIFIED arborists come out and tell me the same thing. That the tree crew pretty much killed my tree. We will be contacting the company again to replace the tree. I will amend this review when they have completed the replacement. Until then, I would try another service. read more
