Pesto Shrimp Pizza

Pro's: 1. Lake view 2. Boat docking 3. Live music 4. Their hours of operation 5. Parking plentiful 6. They accomodate large parties 7. Waitlist available on line 8. Pizza Con's: 1. Service (inconsistent) 2. Food (inconsistent) 3. It can be really loud- if that bothers you

Wait time was reasonable for a Friday night, service was great, atmosphere was loud and fun, beautiful views of the water, and food was great. Live music was great as well! Service was so great that when my partner lost his ring down the sink drain, the General manager (who happened to be at the bar) shot right up and did it with a smile on his face. We took my sister from out of state here and we will DEFINITELY be going back!

Good service and tasty food continue. On a Thursday night around 6:45, not too busy and got seated and ordered in under 5 minutes. I ordered the fish tacos and she had the salad with salmon on top. Food was tasty and hot. Eating on the lake is always nice. We will be back.

Nice view of the lake Lots of outside or covered places to eat. We got kids meal corn dog, adult grilled cheese, blt for desert you must have the milton lava cake or the funnel fries!

It took me a while to come and eat here but I am so glad we did. The atmosphere is great, like being in the keys... very casual. Service from our waitress couldn't have been better and the food was pretty good too! We sat at a hightop next to the water, had a couple of drinks & watched people coming in and out with their boats. We ordered nachos, fish dip, potato skins & fish and chips (which we had fries and onion straws-YUM!) All were perfect. We will continue to be back and bring our guests from SoFla :-)

There are many places to eat by the lake but I particularly enjoy this place! Yes there is usually a wait but it's worth it and you can always grab a drink at the to go bar while your waiting. The food is really good and so is service ! Our server Bacon was awesome he recommended us to great drinks and the food came out fairly quickly. The live music was great as well! I have zero complaints about this place !

Go for the drinks & view, not so much for quality of food.

Best lunch spot on the Lale Lanier. Try the BLT or Burger, always fresh ingredients and orders are made to order and it shows.

Complimentary bread served with a tomato balsamic like dipping sauce. Prices are great given the craziness of how expensive everything in our current economy is. Food came out hot and fresh. That's a big deal for me. Don't give me warm food, give me hot food! The tartar sauce, and the ranch... so yummy. The chicken and berry jam sandwich is a great size. The pics can make it look small, but it's great. Parking= street Would I visit again: definitely

The server was pleasant but very matter-of-fact when I asked about the lobster bisque, simply saying it was on the way. The lobster bisque was flavorful, though saltier than usual. K said the Caesar salad was average. The bread was fresh and warm, though I would have preferred butter instead of the tomato sauce (even though the sauce itself was enjoyable). Service was slow overall and the food took a while to arrive. The crab cake was fairly bready and fried dark, but acceptable. K said the 14-oz ribeye was well prepared. The crab Oscar was overly salty. The mashed potatoes and fried chicken were solid choices. I substituted broccolini for green beans for a $2 upcharge, and it was worth it. The piano player until about 9 p.m. on Friday night added a nice touch, and the restaurant is attractive inside.

I'm so glad that my wife and I ordered the big 14 inch versions, so that we could enjoy the leftovers. And reheated in an air fryer it was a tasty Deja Vu. Our pies were the Buford Drive and the Meatarian. Service was also attentive and we never lacked for drink refills. They checked in on us to ensure that everything was good and any needs met. The stone floors and wood accents make for a stylish experience that was still casual. Seating included booths and long family/group tables.

They were larger than others I have eaten, and appreciated that. The underwhelming part was the small amount of sauce that covered them. An adequate amount to cover the dish's contents would have garnished an additional star. With a large part, it would have been conducive to assign multiple servers. Our server was nice, but appeared to be overwhelmed at times. She was sweet and did check on our group multiple times. My selection of Spaghetti Bosco was a solid one. The hand made spaghetti truly had a 'garden' feel with ample mushrooms, spinach, basil and sun dried tomatoes amongst other delicious ingredients. The roasted chicken was prominent and had good flavor. The delicious wedge of bread that came with my meal was not necessary, but highly appreciated! My co-workers gluten free meat filled pizza smelled amazing and was large enough to share and have leftovers. She had selected the restaurant for our dinner and frequented often. Our group sat at several connected tables near the kitchen area. The entrance had a sports bar feel with hi-boy tables and televisions featuring various games. Security was present and provided assurance that customer safety is paramount. The parking lot was well lit and offered adequate spaces in front and the rear of Parma and surrounding businesses. Various size groups and what appeared to be some regulars were peppered throughout the establishment. Would definitely return to sample the build your own pizza the next time I'm in the area.

I'd calmly mentioned, "We almost left & that we're glad you came when you did." She apologized responded that she will put us ahead in the stack of orders to make up for lost time & we were grateful. Alexis kept our glasses of tea full & so kudos to her for taking care of us. On another matter that same night, We witnessed an extremely LOUD & drunk customer ordering double whiskeys every 10 - 15 minutes. It was obvious he'd been drinking heavily before we arrived at our table close to the bar. The drunk was getting louder & careless with his words & actions as we were finishing our dinner. There were young children in the booth behind us and young teens across the room. Regarding the drunk... 1. Loudly threw his phone on the bar landing a few feet from where he sat. 2. Yelling at a stranger about 5 or 6 stools away telling him, "HEY!!! Yer NOT allowed to talk on the phone!!!" while demanding a scene. 3. Multiple times bouncing off other bar stools like a bowling ball hitting pins trying to stay balanced. 4. Swearing loud enough that children at other tables could hear him. 5. Spent about 10 minutes in the bathroom while girlfriend & bartender checked up on his whereabouts. 6. Throwing up & spitting on the bar where he was seated. After he spit / threw up at the bar, the bartender pulled out a rag from his back pocket along with another from behind the bar area & wiped off the bar spreading whatever was regurgitated. Never once did I witness germ or contamination spray being applied to decontaminate the bar area safely. I also did not witness him washing his hands after cleaning up the mess. Long before the drunk customer did whatever he did in the bathroom, the bartender should have STOPPED serving him double after double after double... Instead, the bartender was singing with the drunk while continuing to serve the drunk. I thank Alexis for serving us but we won't be back. There's other classy bars & eating establishments but this isn't one of them. Almost forgot... when we sat down, there was silverware on the floor at our feet. I wish I didn't forget my phone at home because I would have added pictures & video with this report.

Well now... let me tell y'all about a little place in Buford that flat-out surprised the socks off…read moreme -- 5 Spot Cafe. I rolled in there hungry enough to eat the bumper off a truck and ordered the meatloaf ciabatta sandwich with hand-cut fries, and sweet mercy... somebody's grandma must be back there running the kitchen because that thing was borderline life-changing. The meatloaf was thick, juicy, and had that "somebody's been perfecting this recipe since 1978" flavor going on. The ciabatta held it together like a champ, and those hand-cut fries? Lord have mercy. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -- the kind you keep saying "just one more" until suddenly the basket's empty and you're thinking about ordering another. Now here's the real kicker: they've got gluten-free options, which means I can bring my wife this weekend without her looking at the menu like it personally offended her. That alone deserves a round of applause. So if you're anywhere near Buford and your stomach starts talking louder than your good sense, do yourself a favor and stop by. Just be warned: You might leave full, happy... and already planning your next visit before you even get to the parking lot.
