Terrible service and terrible food. The only decent stuff is the bar food. Don't order seafood whatever you do.

I keep my boat at holiday marina, so I frequent the oar. Since Tony left the drinks are horrible, service has ALWAYS been terrible and the food hit or miss. I had lunch today with a group of 5, we were the first people in the place. I ordered soup as an appetizer, and a BLT, my friend ordered spaghetti and a house salad. I kid you not when I say my BLT had TWO pieces of bacon on it. I got my soup after I got my meal. My friend never got her salad. It's ridiculous that a restaurant on the water that is always pack thanks to our friends has such terrible food and service. We have been here dozens of times by boat for dinner and we love it. The staff has been great, we had 1 exception of a rude waitress but I haven't seen her since. Everyone else has been great. The salmon BLT, chicken fingers, fish and chips, wings, etc are all great. This is a great bar food restaurant on the water, with great docks to park at and very reasonable prices. The location as a whole blows away Big Creek or Lanier Islands. They also allow pets and provide water bowls which is a huge plus for our two dogs that are always on the boat with us. read more

Great food. Prices are not bad. Service is pretty good but depends how crowded they are. Neat scenery with a pretty good lake view. We go here often via boat or jet skis. read more

Terrible customer service - margarita's yuck. Waited at least 10 minutes before someone told us that the table we were seated in was not covered by any waiters and that the bar tender would take our orders. Margarita had a sugary chemical taste. By the time we got our food it was over 1 hr. read more

Horrible! After seating ourselves then being ignored for about 40 mins after we ordered I got an excuse that the reason we hadn't gotten drinks or even a cup of ice for my one year olds juice was the register was down. Strangely this only affected my family because everyone around (who happened to be not of color) was being waited on very quickly. After saying something to my waitress with the black hair and piercing in her face 3-4 times I finally went to the bar and asked another waitress who seemed confused about a "down register". She got me the cup of ice in a Styrofoam cup that was beat up as if I wanted to give that to my son. My husband who already was out the door with our child was livid about the service. Instead of causing a scene we left and called to speak to the manager who only offered to serve us herself and said the young lady was probably busy. She offered nothing more for the inconvenience or the unfairness that was displayed. We were out there with groups of people who were on their way to meet us there of all races but once they heard this we relocated immediately. We love to eat out and tip very generously but I WOULDN'T give this place a penny. Like my husband said if she didnt want to wait on us she couldve just sent someone else over or in 2016 just say it. A place that displays racism or supports it will never get any business from me or my family. Especially when its displayed in front of my son. We always have fun at lake lanier and the other restaurants they offer. I don't recommend this place .And to think we got along with the other customers so well.. Great causual atmosphere. Good food (highly recommend the salmon blt). It's like a piece of the Florida Keys on lake lanier. Loved it.

So it is a busy Friday night on the lake and I get things can happen. BUT....an hour and a half after being seated, watching tables be served food that were sat 45 minutes after we ordered and receiving food is beyond ridiculous. It is not that hard to execute on delivering food in a timely manner. But this is just beyond a problem..... read more

Nice lake spot! Usually has a 1-2 man band. Not too loud where you can't talk. But loud enough to where you can hear it everywhere. It's at holiday marina so it's nice to have big gas docks to park he boat at. Service it pretty good considering every time I go it's slammed. Atmosphere is very nice. Open Indoor and outdoor seating over looking the lake. Food isn't the best but it's good. Enjoy! read more

We are regulars but was totally appalled last night by the behavior of the short, red haired, middle aged woman who was the hostess (she's always there). Too lengthy to write everything that happened but the way she treated me and our party of 6 was unbelievably disrespectful. The owner should really rethink about putting her up front to greet people. We eat here with friends every week sometimes as much as 3x and bring them a lot of business. We have never been in a rush for a table and quite frankly we are on "lake time". Wait time is never an issue for us, but her attitude definitely was. The food is great, the waitresses and waiters are awesome. Hopefully she was just having a bad night, I know it gets busy and can become hectic but that isn't a reason to be rude to customers. Honestly, I was embarrassed by her behavior and apologized to our friends since this was their first experience with the restaurant. 5 stars for food, atmosphere, wait staff. 0 for the cranky lady. read more

First time here, good mixed drinks and cold beer the hot wings and pork skins delicious!

Loud and no atmosphere. Lake not visible when you sit down inside. Mahi mahi was tough and terrible (frozen, microwaved?). Grilled shrimp skimpy order, same treatment. Since it is nearby may go back on a nice day, sit on the deck and try burgers and wings. read more

This was a total disappointment. Our appetizer was forgotten due to the kitchen was busy. We were sitting next to the kitchen and in the 30 minutes only three dishes came out. When we ordered our main meal we were advised that it would be cheaper and you got more if we got a basket of fries instead of two individual orders. The red basket arrived and you could see the bottom of the entire basket. We asked about it and we were advised you get what you get cause the kitchen is busy. And last but not least was the beer list shows beer by the pint. The little plastic cup is nowhere near a pint. As a boat owner at the marina we were expecting a little more. read more

Stay away from this eatery!!!! Service is super slow to the point of being HORRENDOUS. Our table had no untensils, no napkins, no salt or pepper. Waitress was no where to be found. She was busy tending bar and flirting with the bar patrons. The cook was serving the the meals to the customers. When the food FINALLY arrived it was bland and very dry. Went here for the first time, even though I'm a local to the area. They had the chance to gain a regular customer, but I won't ever come back. It was the worst service I've had in a LONG time. The waitress took forever to take our order, complained to us that her shoes hurt her feet, and never once checked on us again. We had to walk in ourselves and ask for condiments and to pay our bill. When we asked for a cup for our malt vinegar, the waitress sighed and said she would have to bring me one, which she never did. I hate to think this was the hardest problem she had to solve today and couldn't even complete the task. Needless to say, she received no tip. I can't remember the last time we left no tip for someone. The food was subpar--fried fish had absolutely no flavor, and the mac and cheese I could make better at home. The salmon BLT was tasty, and the fries were freshly cut. That's all they have going for them. Live music wasn't bad and not annoyingly loud like some places though. Tables were too low, so you could not even enjoy the view, so the fact this place is a "waterfront" restaurant is moot. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

We were really excited to try this since its at our own marina where we keep our boat, and everyone gave the food rave reviews. Unfortunately, after 30 minutes the waitress couldn't manage to get a beer to the table. Watched people come in after me order and receive l their drinks and she just kept walking past me, with a frazzled confused look on her face. We had to flag her down to get menus. Then we flagged her down again to see if we could order drinks. Ordered drinks, and she continued to walk back and forth in front of us and stand at the register. Someone needs to do a better job training this poor wait staff. My husband even went to the bar to see if maybe we could get drinks there instead but he was also ignored. Bartender was angry and frazzled too so he couldn't handle anything. We ended up leaving, getting in the car and going to a restaurant down the road. In and out in 25 minutes. So even though we keep our boat at holiday, we will continue to eat and drink at all the other marinas on the lake. read more
