Let me start by saying that the food is mediocre. The slider patty isn't seasoned well and the coconut mojito is sugary to the point where it tastes like a milkshake than a cocktail. I honestly couldn't taste any liquor. The coffee tasted like instant coffee and the cup it was served in was cracked. Yes, cracked where my fiancé could've cut his lips drinking from it. The water glasses were dirty and it was refilled once during the hour and a half we spent there. Quality issues aside, I still would have given this place at least 3 stars. What really earns the 1 star is the confrontation from the server. He spent his entire time flirting with women discussing his beads and tattoos. After we paid the bill, he confronted us about the 10% tip we left him which given his service was beyond generous. Long story short, Astoria is such a diverse and up and coming place. There are definitely much better places with much better service to grab brunch from. We won't be returning. read more

My family made reservations to have brunch here during Mother's Day. There was outside seating and a live DJ. The waitress was quick and had our orders out in a reasonable time. The drinks weren't crazy strong (i got white sangria) but I left with an OK buzz. we sat outside and it was a little less lively than indoor but we wanted to enjoy the weather. Been trying to check out Trestle for so long. Outdoor dining, which expanded their seating finally let us be able to come check it out. As a group of 4 we had no issues with being seated on a Saturday night. Our waitress was nice. A server I believe named Chris went above and beyond though! We had three rounds of drinks and they were no mistakes/misses. As for the food I had the Trestle Mac and Cheese and the fish tacos. The tacos were good and the mac and cheese a bit above subpar. I would have loved more flavor on the mac and cheese. Maybe more paprika? The tacos had flavor but the pickled onions overpowered the guac and pineapple pico. I continued to eat it, but it's an awkward combination and I'm not sure whether it was the grits or the eggs but it was extremely salty. We all did not opt for the bottomless (extra $20) the initially sangria I had was watered down, it the mimosas I ordered afterward were just fine. There was a good combination of seating - outdoor, casual indoor and booth seating in the back. We had bar seating and the service was friendly and quick as we caught the end of happy hour. The happy hour menu ($2 off a variety of food and drinks) covered our full order - Moscow mules, fried pickle chips and a burger. The drinks were DELICIOUS and strong - a deadly combo. Sooo I didn't only enjoy the food but we also were surprised with a Mother's Day concert performance by Rayvon the guy who is featured on Shaggy's song "it wasn't me" and "angel" which was a great treat. We got there around 3:30 and the kitchen closes for an hour from 4pm-5pm so that they can transition from brunch to dinner and even though we sat down a half hour before the kitchen closed the food was still very good. Staff was awesome they were having a good time with the concert as well as the music the dj was playing. It's a small location but they also have outside seating. If you are going to drive to this location give yourself ample time to find parking. I'm definitely going to come back for dinner. It was busy as expected for a Saturday at 11 am, you are able to make reservations but we didn't have one so they accommodated us at the bar. I can't speak highly enough of the service. *Jan*, who was running the bar at the time, filling mimosas - impeccable service. (Honestly everyone behind the bar was great, thank you!) but I have never had a server so attentive, but specially so attentive about our mimosas, making sure they were full. Like seriously, how many times have you had to flag down a waiter just to get another glass for bottomless? Not at Trestle. Also, *Jackie*, the manager, amazing. She is the epitome of hospitality and checked in on not only us but the groups around us to make sure everything was great. OK - now food - everyone loved what they got. Stuffed french toast was super yummy, and not too big either so if you're hungry one person can finish it. I got the chicken BLT and it's the best brunch BLT I've had in the area, hands down. My partner and our friend got the omelette and it came out exactly how they asked. (When does that ever happen?) And as I've already mentioned, when they say Bottomless Mimosas.... But wait the best part was the French fries, I jazzed it up with not ketchup but a side of sweet chili sauce. I tell you these were the best fries and drink combo to do the laundry with or whatever you wanted to do. As for the business: They were the most friendliest people when I spoke with them over the phone and even friendlier when I arrived. They were boneless, which is just the way I like it. They were tender and juicy and delicious. The waffles were fluffy and cooked to perfection. Overall a great choice and you can't go wrong. I ended up getting a bloody which was a bit spicy for my taste but pretty good. It also came with a bacon garnish which I love. Then I switched over to a bellini and I got two of those. A bit sweet but not too bad. They were served in 16oz cups so you were set for a while. Even then though, they were pretty good about coming around and making sure that our glasses were always full. Very amazing service. They also had doggie water bowls, so I'm assuming that they allow dogs here even though I didn't see any. I was there for my best friends birthday and we had Brittney as the bartender & Achilles as our waiter. We order 4 frosè's and two blueberry drinks that originally come with gin however we switched it to Tito's and that's when we met brittney she explained its ment to be made with gin and how if we didn't like it she would be happy to change it for us. This is a warm weather review from Autumn so take it with a grain of salt. A few of my friends lived in Astoria and suggested this place as their "go-to" spot for brunch. I really liked it! Trestle is fortunate enough to have a lot of sidewalk real estate for outdoor dining which given the times is a major asset. Their food was great. They had the full range of brunch food options including some chicken and waffles that were as tasty as they were instagrammable! They of course had mimosas, bellini's etc. which they had in portable plastice cups (;-) The bottomless brunch is $20 for 90 mins. In general it's a solid, can't-miss spot for brunch. My only gripes were that I felt attention to our table dropped after we received our plates. We made some small requests that weren't resolved for a little while. Since this is Astoria the parking isn't too easy to find. Their menu is affordable. They have a brunch menu and a dinner menu. The brunch menu has $20 bottomless mimosas for a limited amount of time. They have a fróze and a frozen Astoria Palmer which is to die for. It's a frozen lemon iced tea which is super good and slushee. The truffle fries are good. Brunch Review: Visited recently on a Sunday afternoon and was a bit underwhelmed as my expectations were high based on other reviews. I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of eggs and the bottomless brunch cocktail option. The pancakes were fairly dry and tasteless and the syrup was very low quality. The eggs were fine, not too try or overly creamy just your basic scrambled eggs. What I did like were the generous serving sizes on the bottomless drinks - on the plus side we didn't have to hunt down our waitress for a refill after two sips but on the downside that made her check-in way less.
