The restaurant was clean, well organized and had an appropriate noise level for guests. The only down side, and everybody has different expectations, was that the cod was over cooked and rubbery, not flakey. The rest of the food was appropriately hot or cold as it should have been. First let me address the patio, which is a wonderful place to dine. The ambience is perfect and when the weather permits, which is late fall and early spring, it truly is a wonderful experience. The service is the same as the service in the Katy Local table, which is just wonderful. Very attentive, very efficient a wonderful experience to be quite honest with you. And when I said, it is difficult to manage a distinct setting with the same level of service as I said earlier, these folks have achieved that which is laudable. The menu is precisely the same, and the food is well prepared in ample quantities and I do not believe that I've experienced a single meal that is not good. Now this is just my personal experience. I won't speak for all yelpers, but I think the food to be quite dependable and the serving is quite ample given the cost. The same is true of the bar, which is quite good.

The decor is clean and refreshing, with a very homey French country feel It's a little bit different than what you're used to. You actually go in, put your name on a waitlist, I would recommend getting your name on the waitlist ahead of time. Once they call you up, your name goes on a table. You order at the counter. and your food is brought out to you I was fortunate enough to have the chef as my cashier she made the recommendation of a piece of sourdough toast, one of their pieces of chicken, a couple of eggs, and I had a side order of their pancakes with a pumpkin compote The pancakes were light, fluffy, fresh. The pumpkin compote did not overpower the pancakes rather it complemented the pancakes. They use real fresh maple syrup, and I really enjoyed both of them. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the toast was. crisp and the chicken was amazing. The combination of the toast, the chicken, and the eggs really hit the spot. One of my biggest compliments is going to be that the portion sizes are realistic. You're not overwhelmed with copious amounts of low-quality food. You get the right amount of delicious food. I can't wait to go back. My only regret is that I didn't take any pictures of my food prior to deciding to leave a review. LOL

The restaurant has expanded since my first time there but the decor is great reflecting a Fall theme. The food is incredible and worth whatever the wait. Their menu itself is a work of art with all the pictures of creative dishes. You will always get a meal that looks as great as it is delicious. Because of the popularity, you will want to take advantage of the call ahead seating option. There is practically no space inside to wait and it could be over an hour. Harvest Kitchen and Bakery is where I take out of town guests to impress them.

The casual, open space was inviting and the place was spotlessly clean. However, the customer service was just average. I wanted an egg and cheese biscuit with gravy and asked if I could replace the bacon in the Bacon, Egg, Cheese Biscuit with the shiitake mushroom gravy. However, the gal at the counter said no so I ended up ordering the spinach, egg, and goat cheese biscuit and had to order a side of shiitake mushroom gravy. She wouldn't even let me switch out the goat cheese for cheddar cheese. Needless to say, service was not the most accommodating or helpful. My lunch date ordered the chicken and waffle and gave it a 4/5 rating. The chicken was crispy but the waffle was more on the dense side. The biscuit was also dense, more so than fluffy. It was baked golden brown and had a slightly crispy exterior which was the best part. The inside didn't pull apart into delicate layers. Instead, it crumbled when I forked through it to get a piece. I'd give it a 4/5 rating. I thought the shitake mushroom gravy was very good and give 5/5. I'm just happy they make a vegetarian-friendly gravy. I also like that have fresh squeeze orange juice on the menu.

My husband and I came here last weekend for a late breakfast and it was perfect!…read more The tables were full so we opted to sit at the bar. The bar is actually really cool because the countertop is full of coins from one end all the way to the other! Haven't seen anything like it before so that was pretty neat. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich- as you can see from the picture, he enjoyed every bite! I ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of bacon. The chicken was thick and juicy, just how we like it, and the powdered sugar with strawberries on top really held that nice, sweet and savory fix I needed! Next time we come, I'll have to try the dessert and Bloody Mary!

Our friend had a burger and said it was very good. I drank beer, which was cold and our server kept them coming which was great! Would go back for the fish and chips! We then went especially on a Wednesday to have the Chicken Pot Pie special. It was served in a bowl type (very large mug) with a big croissant type bread sitting on top. Have never seen it this way so we were kinda surprised. It was not terrible but won't order it again. It came wth a very large side salad. Also ordered a cup of the potato soup. It was very runny and unfortunately not a potato to be found. Also would not order again. Their daily specials seem to be a good deal. Their menu has quite a selection as well. Definitely want to try their breakfast!

Inside it is spacious and has some colorful and lively decor. Great for groups or solo at the bar. Service: 5/5 The hostess was friendly and immediately directed me to my friend's table. Once seated, the waiter was very attentive and accommodating in checking in on us and getting our orders going. Food: 5/5 We ordered the beef and chicken fajitas to share. The beef fajitas were flavorful just as I'd hoped but the chicken was a bit dry. With the order we each get our own plate of rice and beans and choice of tortillas. The flour tortillas were delicious, almost like home made, so much so that I took the leftovers tortillas home to enjoy with butter. The highlight for me was the Skinny Margarita with my customization of adding a shot of Amaretto. I've been disappointed at other places because they never taste fresh, or have an extremely tart flavor, but the bartender had it down to a science because when I tell you from my first sip it was like heaven! Fresh, not too sweet and I only had one and was tipsy, I wasn't the only one. My two friends got the same one and agreed it was delicious and they too were tipsy. And you get your money's worth. I don't live in this area, but for this margarita, I may have to visit again soon. I'm thirsty thinking about it as I'm writing this and likely still thinking about it while you're reading this. I didn't get as many photos as I usually do, apologies, but I did get the Skinny margarita. Overall it was a good time, with good food and good drinks.

Between Saturday and Sunday, the only meal I had was Neca's nachos. I had to go to urgent care, where I was put on an IV and given medication to treat what was diagnosed as food poisoning. In addition to the above facts, my toddler ate a bit off my plate Saturday/Sunday and exhibited symptoms similar to mine. On Monday, June 30th at 9:04am, I called to share my experience with the staff. To be clear, my intention in calling was not to leave a negative review, but simply to bring the matter to the restaurant's attention - privately. Unfortunately, the owner, Albert, was defensive throughout the call. He said things like, "I don't doubt that happened, but we've never had a complaint," and dismissed my experience rather than showing concern. I explained I wasn't calling to leave a bad review but to make them aware. But alas, here we are. If you're looking for a place with good food and quality customer service, I suggest you look elsewhere. But if you're fine risking your health and dealing with defensive owners, Neca's may be the place for you.

I was…read morepleasantly impressed to find that a bakery had a menu that offered such a selection covering breakfast and lunch items. The location of the restaurant is not immediately visible from the Main Street. It was tucked away on the rear of a building creating a little challenge to find. My visit was during a weekday morning and no other patrons were inside. A completely empty restaurant is usually a cause for concern for me. Patty's is set up for orders at a counter in the back of dining room then take a number to the table for delivery. The dining room is very bright and simply decorated but spacious for a bistro. I ordered the Grandma's Morning Casserole and it was a solid 5/5 with great quality sausage and bacon. Everything about the dish is near perfect, especially the tasty crispy tater tots. My request for a croissant with the breakfast was honored and it was delicious. This gave me idea to check out more baked good from the showcase. I purchased a carrot cake to go and later wished I had bought two. The cake wasn't the traditional style with nuts and shredded carrots. Instead, the cake was the consistency of pound cake that came covered in a rich chocolate drizzled over the top. Perhaps, I got lucky with my first impression but I'm eager to give them another opportunity to repeat the great experience.

Their…read moresignage outside & their website only says "Patty's Bakery" but they are so much more than a bakery! Don't miss that they are a "Bistro" also. The cashier/barista Laura was so friendly and we enjoyed talking to her. You order at the counter, water is self service from a water station and the food is delivered to your table. I was here for Saturday brunch & got the "special omlette" with ham substituted for the prosciutto. The ham is deli-type ham. The omelette was very flavorful & tasty, however, definitely thinner than I am accustomed to eating. It did not come with any bread option or side item so make sure you look at the breakfast side items (only located on the Saturday/Sunday brunch menu, not the main menu) or ask about side items. I don't have a large appetite & I must admit I was still a little hungry. I inquired about bread after I finished & they offered to bring me some toast but I was already done eating. I had a bite of hubby's breakfast sausage & croissant. I'm not a big sausage person but the sausage tasted smoky with a hint of sweetness and it was yummy! The croissant was also buttery & good. I'd add that to my omelette order next time. Of course we had to try some sweets since there were so many options. We got the carrot cake; it's Brazilian style, which differs from the standard American version. The cake had carrots only, no nuts, a little less sweet, pound cake-like consistency and topped with chocolate. I enjoyed it! I also got a chocolate cake slice to-go. It's super rich with chocolate filling layers made with condensed milk. A bit too rich for me but I'm sure others will love it. They also have coffee drinks and they are setup to do the basics drinks (mocha latte, cappuccino, etc) without all the syrup flavors. I ordered a cortado. Although it is not on their menu, the barista gladly said she would try to do her best. I provided directions on the espresso to milk ratio for a cortado & she absolutely nailed it. The coffee was robust & without the traditional vanilla syrup available, a little brown sugar added made the drink great. I will definitely return. I'll try their lunch menu next time.
