That's a serious food safety concern and very alarming. When the server came back, she didn't apologize or acknowledge the issue at all, which made the experience even more disappointing. Overall, between the poor service and the issue with the food, I was very disappointed. After this experience, this restaurant is now on my blacklist. I won't be returning.

Unfortunately, the owner, Albert, was defensive throughout the call. He said things like, "I don't doubt that happened, but we've never had a complaint," and dismissed my experience rather than showing concern. I explained I wasn't calling to leave a bad review but to make them aware. But alas, here we are. If you're looking for a place with good food and quality customer service, I suggest you look elsewhere. But if you're fine risking your health and dealing with defensive owners, Neca's may be the place for you.
