I had seen some positive reviews on the Toad House and wanted to stop in. My mom remembers eating 'grinder' sandwiches when she and dad first married and attending North Dakota Stare University. We got a sandwich and ordered a pepperoni pizza also. The sandwich was made on their own focaccia bread, plenty of meat, veggies, and sauce. Very good. Plenty of pepperoni and cheese on a thin crust brought a smile to our face. We have plenty for a second meal and a midnight snack. Definitely going back for more. read more

Such great food! We ordered starter salads which nearly filled us up. The homemade blue cheese dressing was incredible! We also ordered the bruschetta. I normally don't like tomato but this was incredible and tasted great. For pizzas we got the BOBadacious and the Tazzio (pictured). Very good topping levels and amazing flavor. They are supposedly known for their wings, but they were sold out tonight. Maybe next time. We did try a cannoli. Holy crap! One of the best I've ever had! Excellent! Lives up to the rating. Tried the bruschetta (excellent) for a starter, then split a BLT Wedge and a Toadal Protein (adding cheddar); both were very good. The sauce is top notch, might've had a bit more on the pizza. Still, great service, really good food, and great ambiance. Wood seats, so bring a seat cushion so you can really give this food the time it deserves. read more

Even though it e\was very small, this was the BEST commercial pizza I have had in over twenty years. Most of what was available from other places online was so unimaginative and boring. This pizza was exciting and delectable. I also judge places by their Caesar salads, and this one did not disappoint. read more

First off the pizza is delicious. Crust is perfect, great sauce, and they go hard with toppings. I've only had it delivered so I have no idea if the place is nice or not. The staff is awesome. Excellent Local Brick oven Pizza ! A Local Pizza spot in Bremerton, One of the best. Easy going ambiance inside with a few Rock Star pics and a cool vibe. Cold Beer on tap and some bottles as well. What we ordered: Starter house salad Starter Caesar salad 10" BOBdacious pizza 10" Carne Asada pizza Couple drinks I had the starter house salad and my wife had the starter Caesar salad. Good service, okay drinks, but AMAZING gluten free pizza!! No skimping on toppings and a seriously crispy crust. The kitchen isn't gluten free/celiac friendly but if you can suffer that then I 1000% recommend. We had the 10 inch GF. The 15 inch regular pizza looks like it could feed someone for 3 days. The service is a bit slow but worth the wait. The pizzas are delicious. They have creative pizza names with a variety of options, and a build your own option. Hallelujah I have finally found good pizza around Bremerton! I have been really looking forward to The Toad House reopening following their kitchen remodel after having struck out finding any kind of edible pies in what seemed like a pizza desert of Kitsap County. Low and behold I saw the neon "open" sign shining like a star above on a run to pick up takeout from the sushi restaurant next door, and I vowed to come back. Lord the pizza took all my fears away! It took everything in my being to not eat the entire 10"because it was so so good. Soft, doughy crust, full flavored toppings, nice reheat texture. Take out only as of 7/18 but opening for dine next weekend I was told. Cannot wait to return for a 15" and some local beers and I can rest easy knowing on my Friday nights, I finally have a go-to delicious pizza place! read more

Called in a carry out order for two 15 inch pizzas last week. Estimated pickup time was nearly 45 minutes which seemed a bit excessive being that it was only 5pm on a Thursday. It was my first time in when I ran in to pick up so I took a quick survey of the interior. It's a dark atmosphere which makes sense given the beer selection and I could see this place having a semi bar vibe for hang outs or date night. We tried the Todal Protein and the Margherita, decent crust with just the right hint of brick oven char. Between the two hubs and I both preferred the Margherita. The pizzas here are spendy, $53 for the two we tried so probably not best suited for a quick, casual, carry out night but I could totally see us coming back to split a pie with friends for a night out. read more

Orders the best sandwich you had all day, grinder deluxe, and cheese bread plus. The food was freakin delicious and damn good quality! Even the side of coleslaw was really good. Shocked the ish out of me bc I don't eat coleslaw. The real star was the drinks We ordered rum punch & lemon drops. I could've stayed for hours just sipping these perfect for summer cocktails. While looking for local pizza places this one came up and the pictures looked amazing. I love a good fired pizza! I really wanted to try the salty port orchard as everyone seems to mention it in their reviews. I ordered 3 pizzas and garlic cheese bread. It said 50 minutes and it should be ready. I thought okay, must be busy! I get there 1 hour later and the waitress has no idea what my order is or where it is. She goes over and talks to the guy cooking the pizzas. They both look at a computer screen. She comes back and says Okay it'll be ready in about 5 minutes. Mind you, there's about 3 tables occupied. Not that busy. I waited, I waited, and I waited some more. They did not even start my pizzas until I showed up. If I knew this was the case I would have just went there and ordered in person and got it 1.5 hours prior. Onto the pizza itself... I requested no blue cheese twice on the online order. Once in the topping options and again in the notes. There was blue cheese on my pizza. The pizza was not good and kind of bland, I think it was the sauce. The garlic cheese bread was soggy and drowned in garlic paste/ butter on a hoagie roll cut up. I would never eat here again and the one star goes to the waitress, because she was friendly to me, but the food is ABSOLUTELY NOT worth the price you pay. read more

Established in 2005.

The Toad opened it's doors on July 15, 2005. Great pizza and a bunch of other stuff, but the service was sketchy at best. New ownership saved the Toad from eminent doom on Sept. 1, 2008, and it has been professionally run ever since! Bangers, mash and all other distractions were immediately dropped from the menu and the beer selection slowly doubled. The focus is now on the best pizza, the most beer, and great service.

It's a casual café vibe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The drinks were delicious! Unique boba and smoothie flavors, some different ones I haven't seen around at other boba shops. The location is a bit odd, it's in a business plaza/building and at first we thought that we were in the wrong area. Rest assured, they have a security guard right as you enter the building. Great café to visit!

Interior seating choices available include booths or tables. Wait staff was pleasant and efficient handing us ice waters, menus, napkins, chopsticks, and flatware upon seating. Same pleasant interior with healthy plants and an aquarium. Menu items have expanded and also offers bubble tea. We shared a fresh roll with grilled pork and their tasty dipping sauce. Love the crunch and overall fresh composition. Mom had the seafood pho which arrived in a ginormous bowl and I opted for the steak and meatball pho in a smaller bowl. We shared the provided fresh bean sprouts, basil, and lime wedges, but passed on the sliced jalepenos. The broth was so on point, there was no need to adjust the seasoning. But if needed, there is a variety of additional condiments available at each table to customize one's bowls further. Entree servings and content are so generous, that we ended up packing up our leftover phos. I also bought an additional iced Vietnamese phin style coffee with condensed milk to go. That was nice, smooth, and hit the spot while waiting to board the ferry. Back again in under a week with my mom, but also in tow with The Homie (5/5/26, visit 2of2). This time our visit was much earlier in the day at 1030am, but during our visit the booths filled up with others dining onsite or getting orders to go. Very personable waitperson who also gave us ample time to consider menu options. We shared again the exact fresh roll with grilled pork - tasty, consistent, and generously filled. Mom had her ginormous bowl of seafood pho again and was happy to have all the fresh bean sprouts, basil, and lime wedge to herself. She had been fasting for an earlier doctor's appointment and labs, so she went to town and was focused on her pho. Again, chockful of shrimp, squid, imitation crab/surimi, and fish balls with onions, cilantro, plus that flavorful pho broth and noodles. The Homie was very happy to be able to order pork fried rice without the peas and carrots. Great presentation with the generous pork, scrambled egg throughout, and green onion. Despite earlier items consumed prior, he managed to eat half of the generous entree and had a considerable portion to take home. I tried their version of shaking beef with a scoop of steamed white rice, tender chunks of beef sauteed with sliced romaine, cilantro, green peppers, and onions in a garlic sauce. I did end up picking out the onions to add to the other entree of pork fried rice and separated the green peppers due to personal preference. I ate a few bites, and ended up taking the majority of it home. Again, just the sheer size of the generous serving provided. Worthy detour off of Hwy 303 in East Bremerton for consistent, flavorful menu items and on point customer service! Great dining experiences twice in under a week! 4 stars bumped up to five stars for these two recent visits.

I hope next time they'll put the baked beans on the bottom instead of the mac and cheese.
