Food was pretty good, sauces were amazing. The place was empty; seems like take-out from here is a more popular option. Service was decent as well. Will come here again.

Beef Pad See Ew (wrong order)

I ordered the chicken pad see ew for pickup and was unfortunately given the wrong dish which had beef instead of chicken. The noodles seemed very fresh however and I could tell it seemed to made well, it was just the wrong order. I returned and they redid my order and unfortunately the chicken pad see ew was completely overcooked and dry. The noodles were stuck together, the sauce had been overly reduced and dried up, and the chicken was very dry and overcooked as well. I didn't have the best experience but the service was friendly and the restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere and looked like a nice place to dine in.

Pad Kra Pao lunch special, comes with small salad

We came here first during the pandemic for a dinner pick and I tried them again during lunch today. The place was super busy and bustling with lunch traffic but I was able to quickly get a table. Got the lunch special that comes with a salad. Food was yummy, service was really good and staff was very hospitable. Solid Thai spot!!

I had dinner here with my fiancé recently after shopping in the plaza where the restaurant is located. Yelp gave it four stars so I'd figured we should check it out. The restaurant is spacious and the services was prompt. We started off with the calamari. It was just okay. I ordered the pad Thai with beef. The portion was generous. The meal itself was very bland. I asked for chili oil and was brought chili flakes. The flavor was really lacking which was disappointing. The meal was okay not sure if I'd eat here again.

Ordered some delivery through door dash while I was at work and boy was this the pick me up I needed at lunch time! I ordered the Pad See Ew with pork, no veggies and level 4 spicy with an order of Thai Spring Rolls and extra peanut sauce. The spring rolls were so tasty, with both the sauce they came with and the peanut sauce, the peanut sauce was sooooo goooooood. The flavor and spice of the noodles was so good, however, if you like spicy stuff, don't hold back, just go for level 5! One drawback was that the noodles at the end were a bit clumped together, however, it didn't affect the taste at all. I love the Thai food from here! Definitely somewhere that offers high quality take out, I'd be interested to see what the experience is like to sit and dine!

Soft shell crab in Thai basil sauce. Not over sauced, and the fry is light and allows the flavor of the crab to come through.

All I can say is DELICIOUS! I've come back three times now for this soft shell crab which is seasonal and offered in Thai Basil or Green Curry sauce. It's really friendly and gets a large lunch crowd.

Was in Bridgewater NJ today and was recommended to this restaurant instead of Seasons in Bridgewater Commons for a change. I was a bit concerned that most reviews of this location were under the name of "Thai Kitchen II", and not "The Thai". However, the reason for the name change is not important. Apparently it's the same owners and the same menu. Once I knew that, I was comfortable ordering the duck noodles which were fantastic. Also did chicken satay skewers, also fantastic, and the peanut sauce was superb. Without a baseline of what 1-5 spicy means here, went with 3, and it was plenty tingly. My colleague also got 3 and thought the spice level was a bit hotter than other 3's he's ordered here before. Besides the food being incredible, and the dining room being very nice, what I also loved about this place is that the kitchen runs out the food when it is ready, nice and hot, directly to your table, without having to wait for the server to figure out when to run food. Will definitely be back. GEM!

I have always loved this place. My go to spot for Thai food! I very disappointed with my recent to-go meal. I ordered Pla Koong, under the salad section of the menu. This meal is essentially shrimp and vegetables "over a bed of lettuce". This meal costs $15.95. The portion size is ridiculously small and overpriced, you can see the white of the container on the bottom, untouched! A head of lettuce costs less than $2 from the store, please include more of it. This does not qualify as a salad.

It's not the most appealing restaurant from outside but we walked in and found it crowded. It's tight in space and tables were quite close . Despite having a reservation we got a corner round table right next to the kitchen door with some of us locked down along the wall. Service was below par partly because they were super busy with the weekend crowd. We were there to celebrate a birthday and Thai food was by choice the favorite. Their namesake sister concern didn't have a reservation so we were referred to this location . Some of the members in our group had tried the food at the other location and were sold on it, thus the decision to try this spot and were they taken by surprise! Nothing other than the restaurant name & drunken noodles was anything comparable to the other location. In general too, food was mediocre and didn't stand out as authentic or great tasting. I got the Pad Thai and loved it. I would order it again. Red curry didn't offer any pop of Thai flavors. No lemongrass , galangal or kaffir lime was pronounced. The Tom yum soup was not bad though was overcrowded wth veggies & tofu . I like more broth in m6 soup and less meat & veggies. Couple of other items that I liked were , roti canai & fried spring rolls which had a nice sauce and dip respectively , . Steamed dumpling was very fishy and so was the Sea food sizzler. Didn't like both Overall I didn't enjoy the experience and the food was hit or miss. It's probably worth trying once on a weekday , to check if the food and service Is any better. Mee Siam is pretty darn tasty.

Somerville is an area we had never explored before, and while searching on Google, we found many good restaurant options. We finally decided to try Origin French Thai. All day it rained heavily, and by 7:30 PM it had become quite dark. Finding parking was a little difficult. Even though there is a municipal parking lot right next to the restaurant, getting a spot still took some time. One thing we really liked was the whole downtown vibe. The streets on both sides are closed for cars, and people can sit outside along the sidewalks, which gives the area a nice European-style atmosphere (though it was raining that day) We had a reservation booked already (highly recommended), and we got a comfortable couch table in the back section overlooking the restaurant. The ambience was really nice -- dim lighting with an Asian-inspired theme. They also have another seating section inside, so the place is actually bigger than it looks in some photos. We ordered: * Tom Yum Goong Soup - Easily one of the best Tom Yum soups I've ever had. After such a rainy day, it felt extra comforting and satisfying. 5/5 * Noodle Curry Shrimp - Crispy noodles soaked in gravy with shrimp pieces and a red coconut cream-based curry. Absolutely delicious. 5/5 * Red Curry Chicken - The gravy felt somewhat similar to the noodle curry dish to me, but it was still really flavorful and enjoyable. 4/5 Overall, the entire experience was wonderful. The food truly made the evening special and created a memorable birthday dinner for us. If I'm ever passing through this area again, I would definitely come back.

It also came with a side of white rice. I opted for a three-spice level. This was well put together and a good size portion. It was sweeter than I thought, but the spice offset it a little bit. Everything was cooked appropriately as well. It was just a satisfying dish. I also split the seafood tom yum noodle soup that came with thin rice noodles, shrimp, squid, mussels, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and lemongrass. Again, this was nicely done. There was plenty of all the ingredients and everything was flavored right. It was a soothing bowl.
