Ive been buying tea from these guys for the past probably 8-9 years and the past 4.5 of them I've been living in Toronto - if this doesn't tell you how great the teas and the customer service is, I don't know what will. My most recent order got mixed up and I received someone else's tea by mistake, so I've sent an email to Teahaus and they replied basically 10mins later and remedied the mistake the same day and I got my correct order 2 days later. The teas are delightful, there's always something new to try, and they include a small sample of something to push you out of the box of your regular selections. Excellent Service!!!!! I haven't drank loose tea for awhile but decided to get back into it. I remembered the wellness tea from here and was/is soooo good. Great selection (especially decaf) for a fraction of the price of David's. Very considerate service. I ordered, sat down in the spacious seating area and got a decaf sweet chai tea with all the fixings plus a timer set to ensure optimal steeping duration. I hear they have afternoon tea as well...I wonder if there is a non-senior rate. I'll be getting my tea from here for now on...and I'll probably bring a David's can to bring it home in. read more

The best place to order tea in London. By far. It is a small shop, as other reviewers have mentioned, but it is well worth stopping into. If you normally step into David's you will notice that the Tea Haus is beyond superior. David's is overpriced cheap tea sold in small quantities in an attempt to pretend to be high end tea. Tea Haus is beautifully selected teas of amazing quality that are, yes, somewhat pricey, but worth every penny. The Tea Haus or Tea House upstairs in the Covent Garden Market is a sweet little tea shop with lots to offer. If you are lucky enough to catch the limited edition jasmine tea balls they offer do so at least once because watching that flower bloom in your cup is amazing. They offer all sorts of varietals of teas and blends. All the standards are covered: Black, White, Green as well as Roobios. My fave black tea is the English Caramel with bits of hazelnut in the blend. It's a bright cup of black with just enough sweetness to counter the bitter but not be overpoweringly sweet. They carry tons of accessories too like tea infusers for their loose leaf, stemware, pots, perfect cup spoon portions and my fave brand of local honey: Honey-Do out of Warwick Twp, On. At christmas time they rename my fave Roobios (Constant Comet most of the year) to Christmas Roobios and that it is, with the orange and cinnamon tones in it making you feel festive. There are teas for everyone and sitting down relaxing with a cup or taking home loose leaf to brew at home you are always treated with great service. read more

This is by far the best place to buy tea in London! They have a bigger selection than David's tea, and for about half the price. The quality is amazing, as is the taste. Worried about missing some of your favorites from David's, like Forever Nuts? They have that too. The woman who runs this small shop is really friendly and knowledgable. We even for a sample to take home for a kind we weren't sure we'd like (spoiler alert: it was delicious. All the teas there are). The store is a bit hard to find, since it's on the second floor of the building, so it doesn't have the best location for foot traffic. But the building has free parking (30 mins for weekdays, 2 hours for the weekend). read more

While I'm not much of a tea drinker I have been here countless times as my wife is a HUGE fan of the place. And ... since I work a block away ... I am often here picking up her tea for here. The selection is mind boggling and the prices seem very good. The also offer teapots, cups and other accessories. The service is very friendly and the staff really know their tea to a tee. I've never stayed myself but it would be a great place to people watch and enjoy a cuppa. During the summer months they offer iced tea to go and I've become a pretty big fan - stopping by on my afternoon break once or twice a week. That being said, I've just come from there and they didn't have any out -- looks like I'll have to wait until the spring. It's tucked away in a corner of the upper level of the market so it provides a quiet spot to enjoy a cup. The staff can definitely guide you through the many available flavours and may even help you find a new favourite. I prefer black or oolong teas over green or herbals and one I enjoyed was Monk's Tea. The Tea Haus is my favourite shop at the Covent Garden Market. I always ask the staff for their tea recommendations and their service is always impeccable. I love getting a pot of tea (around $5 or so I believe) and splitting it with friends during a study session. It is located in a corner upstairs, so it's quiet enough for me to get work done and hot water refills are free so I can stay for long enough to get tasks done. I most recently tried the Sangria White Tea and I would highly recommend it if you're looking for something light and fruity! read more

I visited a few days ago with my sister and a friends and tried a tea that shared my sister's name. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable but also super friendly. I stopped in again today an picked up a varied selection from ayurvedic balancing teas to a regular sweet chai. The employee even blended a special black licorice rooibos and it is heaven in a cup. I regret not getting him to mix me more of it. Will definitely be back for more. read more

When it comes to loose leaf teas, this is the best place to go to in London for sure. The variety of black, green, and white teas in addition to herbal teas (e.g. rooibos, honeybush, etc) they have on hand is absolutely amazing. They also have a few tables and chairs for customers to enjoy a cup of tea if they wish to buy one. They also stock quality tea accessories like tea pots, cups, bodums, etc. The staff are also very knowledgeable about everything related to tea and they've always been polite and quite efficient when it comes to customer service.
