The TLDR here is what BTRMLK dropped in vowels, they more than made up for in flavour! While on a short trip to London with a few colleagues, one suggested BTRMLK and needless to say, I was in the moment 'fried chicken' was mentioned. My secret love for fried chicken does not give any restaurant the license to serve any old fried chicken, Its got to be good..... REALLY good. I was sold on its '8/10' ranking and was told that this place is better than the Stockyards in Toronto. BTRMLK is in the student area of town and there was free parking in the lot. Its located in the corner of the plaza and has no seating or a place to stand and eat. I thought this was odd but quickly realized that this place churns out about 1 order every 3 minutes! There were people in and out of the place non stop. The staff, although busy, was really patient and pleasant. I got the Honey Popper fried chicken sandwich (Jalapenos, Honey, Cream cheese, and their house sauce), and my colleague got the Original Nashville hot (honey mustard, pickles, coleslaw and house sauce along with a Nashville hot fried chicken). I wanted in on ALL the action so we asked the staff to cut the sandwiches and they obliged (while in the middle of about 20 orders). My first bite: Oh hell to the yeah, delicious bun, crunchy exterior, tender chicken and cream cheese cut but the pickled jalapenos - so so so good! I demolished my half. Next was the Nashville hot - it was spicy but SO flavourful! The slaw works itself perfectly into the heat and it all comes together into what I can only say it the perfect sandwich. My final verdict? I will be thinking about this place and I will need to return. 5 stars here for Food and Service! Special shout out to Lily for the introduction. read more

Where do we begin? They are serving one of the biggest chicken sandwich we have ever came across. For the price I think it's one of the best sandwich you can get. We have gotten two sandwiches original and honey popper. Chicken with crispy and a it was huge piece which is top with cream cheese, that we kind of did not like because it was overpowering, but tell them to put less if you're not fan of cream cheese, and also they put hand full of coleslaw which balances the Sando really well. First time I tried their original chicken sandwich (with coleslaw in it), I was blown away like never before. The size, flavour, texture, and everything about the sandwich was an unforgettable pleasant experience. It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for in my honest opinion. My sister ordered at my request as I live out of town. They've removed the 5 piece strips which is fine but instead she ordered the platter. (Total was $72 with tax) We received 10 strips (5 Nashville extra charge) 2 sides of Mac and cheese (3 tablespoonfuls in each) and 4 drinks? If you do the math? (9 strips @ 3-$12.25 is $36.75....a full Mac and cheese is $11.50 4 sodas are $10...... $58.25. It's not a deal at all. You should at least put in a full sized side and sorry but I would never pay $10 for 4 soda. Do your customers better you guys. Other than that? The chicken is worth the $ and worth the wait. As an American (from the south) visiting London I have to say the chicken here has consistently blown my mind every single time. It's very hard to make good chicken tenders that aren't dry, and the ones made here are perfectly juicy, and well seasoned too. This is coming from someone who's raised in a region where good fried chicken is like a religion! Give these guys a try they deserve every penny you give. Pro tip: if you are very hungry. Then one of the chicken sandwiches will resolve any meed for food. The chicken burgers are massive. So I ordered an original chicken burgers. This was very tasty. If you want to add some spice there are spicy versions. I also ordered the original three piece. If you just want white meat then this is should be your order. The butter milk sauce is the perfect pairing. My daughter had their poutine. It was OK. To end we got the banana pudding. It was a the perfect counter to the chicken. Not too sweet. And the portion is fair given the size of the chicken burger. The service was fast. They do offer an online service if you want to save the Uber fees. Food was ok but value was not there. It was a takeaway restaurant and a sandwich + side and pop was $25 after tax and tip (they have a min 15% tip recommendation). Got the honey popper. Absolutely fantastic chicken sandwich, mac and cheese, and fries. Everything about this spot is excellent, and its a place I would recommend to anyone without any hesitation. Let's start with the sandwich. The chicken in there is massive, well-seasoned, and perfectly hits the spot. Top it with fresh veggies, sauce, and excellent bread and you have yourself a winner. The sandwich alone is hefty enough for you to finish and be satisfied, but there was no chance I would visit and not try some of the sides. The mac and cheese may be some of the best I've ever had, and it's really all because of the cheese sauce. It's silky smooth and insanely tasty. If you really like your mac and cheese, do yourself a favour and top it with some of their fried chicken and you'll have an excellent meal. Finally, the fries aren't the star of the show, but they're good too. They have a few options for fries, so just pick whichever you think sounds the best for you, and I'm sure you will enjoy it. Phenomenal food & service. The staff are very courteous and friendly. Today I thought I thought I had placed my order online, but apparently I forgot to hit the final 'Confirm' button to push the order through. The food was great! Crisp but not overdone chicken. Fresh buns. We shared a mac and cheese side dish and personally I found that was something you could probably skip; there's better out there. But the chicken burgers were top notch. My partner got The Original, and I got The Honey Popper. The former was fantastic, and 100% what I will get next time. The latter was a bit rich for my taste; the cream cheese was a lot. Other than lacklustre mac and cheese, the only disappointment was a sign others think the food is great too; the line. We went a Saturday at open and waited almost two hours to get into the restaurant. The actual service inside was both friendly and speedy (maybe fifteen minutes). Just don't come hungry, and pray the people in line with you are fun to talk with... and wearing a mask. Also, these guys close once they're out of ingredients! So though they list themselves as open until seven most nights, I've never seen them stay open that late! BTRMLK is a great establishment that can make a damn good chicken sandwich. First off, this establishment is often busy with long wait times. With that time and menu, it can be daunting to pick something. However, I will make it easy for you, get the original sandwich. The regular sandwich was by far the best item, miles ahead of the other choices. I would also suggest staying away from the spicy option. The Nashville hot chicken was definitely spicy, but the flavour was unevenly spread on the chicken and really dried it out. The chicken itself is juicy and cooked well, but the spice just completely made it a chore to eat. In addition, all the other items: the fries and mac and cheese were sub par and worth a skip. Got there to order 2 Mac n cheese with chicken and was told it was a 15 min wait. I went in exactly 15 min later and was told when I ordered they ran out of pasta and it would be 15 more minutes. Since there's no seating inside I ended up waiting another 45 min in the parking lot for a total of an hour after placing my order as the workers were completely overwhelmed with Uber order confusion and customers piling into the small restaurant. Normally I don't mind waiting for food but the wait was ridiculously long and they had 0 organization especially considering there's no dine in. Tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich a couple times, it was okay/decent. Despite asking for more spice on both orders, the chicken was just not that flavourful and barely spicy (like 3/10 max). It's really not identifiable as Nashville Chicken whatsoever - especially if you've had amazing Nashville chicken from spots like Downlow Chicken Shack. Honestly not sure why this place is getting hyped up so much.
