Finally London has a Chatime! No no more having to make the long drive to enjoy a delicious drink. I found the location very nice and inviting. Very clean for such a busy establishment. There are always lots of people when I visit which is a good sign. It's definitely the place to be. There are Lots of electrical outlets for charging devices and free wifi! The staff are always friendly and readily have suggestions when I'm stumped on what to try next. The tapioca is the best tasting around and perfectly paired with the milk tea. The vicinity card is accepted here - one free drink after 10 drink purchases.

Newest and most recently opened location of all the Chatimes in the GTA. Came here after an exam to grab a drink for my drive back home. Needless to say, this Chatime is the same as every other location. Not much is different in this location except there interior layout. It is great that there's a Chatime in almost all cities within the GTA. Definitely there is no shortage if your looking for a roasted milk tea. Nothing to really say about their drinks since they are all standard to any other location. Same price and same taste. Only downfall is there interior set up is bad. The waiting area is blocked by a huge table that no one even sits at and it causes a lot of people traffic from people who are coming in the door with the people who are waiting to get there drinks. Better to just remove the table and give the area more space since there is alot of people usually waiting to get their drinks.

On the left: regular size chocolate mousse ($4.20) In the middle: regular size Chatime pearl milk tea ($4.20) On the right: cup of water! :P

Chatime is a really cute place to grab a bubble tea with friends :) They offer a ton of drink options on the menu, and the prices are relatively good. The taste is always amazing :) Although I will say, I went there once and asked for a bubble tea- they were out of flavouring AND tapioca pearls- the "bubble" of the bubble tea! When a bubble tea shop runs out of bubbles, that's like McDonald's running out of burgers- not good. But that only happened once, and it better not happen again. Give Chatime a try if you want some delicious bubble tea! :D

Clean and comfy seating area, but mediocre bubble tea. I tried their roasted milk tea with pearls and both the milk tea and pearls are subpar compared to the same drink at Chatime's in Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. I prefer Sharetea's milk tea in London.

    Review Highlights - Chatime

If its your first time getting BBT at Chatime, the most basic thing to try is the Roasted milk tea with Grass jelly or another alternative would be with Tapioca aka bubbles.

The ingredients are high quality, and the flavours are thoughtfully developed. Pink lemonades are often too sweet, but this one was perfectly balanced. The lemon square was nicely tart, the quiche had generous chunks of feta, and the muffin had that rich, buttery flavour you only get from homemade baked goods. Service was bubbly and helpful, and the interior was quaint. There's just enough seating outside, with a setup that lets you choose between sun or shade. Special mention for offering the London Fog iced; my first time trying it, and it is now my new go-to. Prices were surprisingly reasonable considering the quality. Easily the best coffee shop I've tried in London so far.

On top of that, requesting light milk doesn't seem to resonate with the server or change the outcome of the drink. We like the outside patio but it's usually just pestering with bees bc of their open lid garbage can sitting directly in the middle of the patio. So although I want to give this place a good review and rating, it seems quite difficult to do so. P.S. why do they serve jamaican patties?

So humble and comforting!…read more I was skeptical at first being that it is located in Masonville Mall (not the food court - stand alone location in new part of the mall) but having gone a few times now I have to say it has become one of my favourite places to grab a quick lunch and coffee. The atmosphere is bright and inviting, comfortable chairs and tables (it can get quite crammed if it's busy), the staff is always wonderful in my experience, and the food is always so fresh and delicious. To top it off they have an abundance of drink options as well as pastries for any sweet cravings. I recommend the Aroma Special salad!

Horrible over priced coffee, even worse service!…read more I needed just a regular (read: not fancy) coffee while waiting fir my daughter to finish work to go shopping in Masonville Mall. I had heard decent things about this place (other than the high prices for mediocre coffee/beverages). I just wanted a dark roast, so asked for a medium (16oz) coffee - the darked roast they had on tap. I got my coffee and sat drinking it until my daughter joined me. I watched a man sitting at the table next to me complain about his sandwich (looked like turkey and lettuce and tomato on homemade, thick bread. It was mostly bread, and he was complaining aboutbthat as well as how they used a few pieces of romaine for lettuce to bulk it up. However it was all romaine spine which is nit nice on a sandwich. I felt bad for the guy. My daughter showed up amd I was finishing my coffee which was in a paper to-go cup in case I needed to take it with me. I went to take about my third last sip and almost spit it out all over the table as my mouth filled with coarse coffee grounds. I am not talking about one or two. I am talking about a mouthful. I took my cup to the counter and waited for 3 minutes for the 2 girls behind the counter to finish their chat nefore acknowledging me. I asked to speak to a manager. Anoyher plain clothed young woman sitting at the coffee counter came over and said the manager was busy (I could see the manager in their office with thwir door open and a friend at the door chit chatting...they were busy personally, not professionally. Whatever. I showed this girl my teeth which were filled with grounds and the cup and said I wanted a refund so I could buy a bottle of water to rinse my mouth out. She was all defensive with no apology...just said "someone probably put the filter in wrong". That may well have been true. But I said that an apology and a refund woukd be approproate. And again, she defensively said "I have apologized to you over and over" in a really loud voice that did not warrant the manager to bother with us still, and the girl behind the counter thumped the money on the counter and they BOTH turned their back to me. Super horrible coffee and experience. I wouldn't waste my time on this place. There are at least 3 other coffee options in the mall.

There's no better way to feel old than to go back to the good old alma mater. I'm glad I don't…read morenecessarily look a lot older than the students, or else I'll be that one person on campus sitting around, creepily staring at young people. The Spoke is a hub of student activity and a good place to just sit, eat a bagelwich, and contemplate on where the time has gone. It never even occurred to me other universities don't have a place like this. You've got a bar/café hybrid smack dab in the student centre with comfy sofas and giant TVs. No wonder this place was always packed. You can hype yourself up with espresso and then mellow out with a pint. Most importantly, the food is actually stellar! My favourite was the CLT (Chicken Lettuce Tomato) wrap. Pair it with a Caesar salad and I was a happy, happy, broke student. I'd also reward myself with poutine after a particularly difficult exam. In hindsight, it was crappy poutine with shredded cheese and not a single curd but damn it was tasty! Especially with a liberal sprinkling from the free bottle of Cajun spice. The café side serves typical on-the-go breakfast food. The most well-known are the bagelwiches, which will rock your world. If you think that's healthier than the bar food, think again. These things were a greasy, glorious mess. Turkey club on mushroom and swiss bagel may make you think you're making healthy decisions, but you're just fooling yourself. It's okay, you won't regret it. Grab an iced coffee with it and it's practically a perfect lunch. If you're on campus for any reason, this is the place to be. Come here to relax and east some good food at a good price. If you're a student, you can stare outside the window at Weldon and weigh the options of drinking another beer or studying. But let's be real, is that even really a choice? (9/100) - 2017

Every Western student knows this place or at least has heard of it. It's a definite must experience…read morefor every student (and everyone - good food is meant to be shared!). As soon as you walk in, you're faced with the cafe where you'll find lighter foods like cookies, brownies, bagelwiches, froyo, great coffee, and their irresistible bagels and cream cheese varieties, etc. Move further in and you'll find the main kitchen that serves heavier food - burgers, wraps, burritos, nachos, and fries, etc. There's also a full bar at the back - for studying, relaxing, catching up, and having fun. I've tried quite a few things on their menu including their famous CLTs (chicken, lettuce, tomatoes - they're famous for a reason - truly delicious), the burritos - super stuffed and packed with flavour, their deep fried pickles (unfortunately, I dont see them anymore on their menu), their fries, nachos, bagels, and coffee. The Spoke also has monthly specials served at the cafe or the main kitchen so look out for the posters. I've had a veggie burger and butter chicken tacos in the past - but they're only there for a month so get them when you see them! The Spoke has quality food and the atmosphere is very relaxed. They have weekly events events like Monday Open Mic, Tuesday karaoke, Wednesdays with Rick McGhie, Thursday coffee houses, and wired Fridays with the campus radio station - CHRW. They also host special events fom time to time. So no matter when you go, it's always going to be a good time.
