They were very careful with the move, not even a scratch or dent anywhere even with heavy boxes. Thorough professionals, focused on the job and hard working folks. Vernon always assured me of a smooth move and he did exactly what he said. As per improvements - you can consider improving your messaging on Yelp - like what you provide and what you don't. In my case I was checking if they can get extra supplies. Vernon said no, but still got a couple of boxes for me. If you look at messaging from other movers - you would know what to improve. Availability was prompt, And responses to even my relatively small request... Third, communication was great from the beginning... Fourth they were timely, and efficient getting the job done... I hired the Task Team for last minute help unloading our moving truck into our new apartment. They were able to schedule me with just a day's notice, and arrived with two extra movers than what I was quoted. I was not asked to pay anything extra, I just got the help of four movers total. I had one extremely good experience with Brant from Task Team. He bid a hauling job and completed it with grace. I was so impressed, I hired him to do some yardwork with the expectation it would be a regular maintenance position. He quoted me a price to get the yard under control, but when he undertook The job, it was apparently much bigger than he had expected. He had brought a helper who was particularly rude and hostile. They essentially just didn't wanna do the work. When I asked how much more it would cost for them to complete the job, he increased the amount by 45%. My sense is, they were tired wanted to go home rather than finishing the work. Particularly his assistant became verbally inappropriate. I ended up paying them $400 for about two hours worth of work. If you've got a small job that one man can handle, Brant might be your guy. I will not be using them again and would not recommend them for a larger job. read more

I am completely in awe and amazed after working with Vernon and The Task Team today. I was moving a 2 bedroom home (with LOTS of stuff) and upon requesting a quote, Vernon personally called me within minutes to gather more information. He then offered to come to my home to get an idea for cost, time, etc. We were able to schedule pretty quickly and Vernon's kindness, professionalism, and warmth made me feel confident that we had made the right choice. Within a day after scheduling we closed early on our new house and suddenly needed to move much sooner than originally scheduled. I inquired with Vernon if he would be able to accommodate this change and he did! I couldn't believe it. Upon moving day, Vernon communicated with me of their ETA and had 4 other Task Team members assisting him. The team was amazing. They worked fast, carefully, attentively, and with so much kindness. I cannot recommend The Task Team enough! I would use them again in a heart beat and will be recommending them to other friends/neighbors in the community. Just hands down the absolute best. You will not go wrong with hiring this team for your move. They were so helpful, motivated, focused and polite. They truly worked as a team and you could tell they new exactly what they were doing. They fit all our belongings into their truck perfectly. They used blankets and wrapped our vintage furniture quickly and efficiently.
