Great food and great drinks! Man up and order a Cosmopolitan and a girly drink for your lady. All the bartenders are amazing!

Yummy!! We had the Stuffed Red Snapper and Lamb Shank; both meals were great! The mashed potatoes were delicious but the veggies were al dente and unseasoned (not my taste). Regardless still 5 star. Service was great and we will definitely go again!

The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming! We have gone just for a beer and have also gone for dinner. They have some of their own offerings and also offer food from the Italian place next door. I had been calling around and couldn't find many places that served cider, so I was happy to learn that House of Brews did. They have a menu with a lot of drink options. There is also entertainment like pool tables and other games, but overall it was a pretty chill night since I went on a Wednesday. We sat at the bar. The bartender did not engage in much conversation, but he was polite and attentive. Since it was close to closing time, they only had a few slices of pizza left from next door, so I cannot really speak to the food. Overall, it was a relaxed spot with a good variety of drinks. If you are ever in the Jensen Beach area, it is worth giving House of Brews a try.

Chicken parm with fett alfredo, bummer - fredo sauce broke,so just greasy butter and the chicken was overcooked dry - pretty sure it's fried (should be sautéed) Thennnn a classic cheese burger medium, and oh my unreal... whoever was on broiler knows what's up!!! Cooked PERFECTLY MEDIUM and even had diamond grille marks BOTH sides - which means kick ass job!!!! I worked kitchen 15 years - started on broiler at steak/burger house so know skills (and slackers) when I see them.. So , low expectations lead to being very impressed overall for an ale house... Been going to ale houses since 1992 but haven't been to one in 11 years ... Good to know they still care - at least this store does.... (New GM btw) you know what they say.... Leadership counts!! The beer selection is awesome, and the "bar food" is actually fantastic. My favorite is the nachos, but don't order the large unless you're feeding a crowd--it's massive. We saw a lot of great reviews for Sauder's Landing…read more First downside is you are required to hand over your driver's license to a security guard to enter the island. He had it for a while, God only knows what data base I'm now part of, but hey, great reviews, let's go. The guard gave my license back as well as a parking permit. Asked about the restaurant, he said drive to the stop sign and turn left. There's a row of shops and a Sauders sign. Did get a tiny bit confusing...none of the storefronts was Sauders. There was a dingy looking alley opening...found them. Walking down this dingy alley (there were three old window a/c units running up high, I mean old, tired, dirty and all three are dripping water into buckets below them on the concrete). We get to a tired residential screen door and that is the entrance. We were greeted right away. Said two for dinner. The hostess asked if we had reservations...we said no. We asked to sit inside. This is not the restaurants fault, but the marina is under construction, there are no docks or boats outside the windows, just rebar and dirt, however the windows and screens were dirty. There are dive bars and old restaurants with charm, Sauders is neither. Inside it just looks very tired and extremely dated You know how Restaurant Impossible or Bar Rescue showes usually start, with John Tapper and Robert Irving having a lot to say. They would have a lot to say at Sauder's. Carolyn, our server, lived up to the reviews that mention her. She was prompt, knew all the specials and did a good job throughout our meal. We ordered some Calemari. The batter was falling off, so if you tried to pick up a piece, you basically had a piece of squid. The marinara sauce was hot and had a good flavor. We had the shrimp linguine Alfredo. There were plenty of shrimp. Tha pasta was spaghetti, not linguine, but cooked properly. Could have had a little more sauce but tasted OK. The meal came with a salad. Everything was fresh, cold and crisp. Carolyn informed us the thousand island was made at the restaurant and it was OK. Summary...the food was ok, the dining room was tired, oh yeah, the rest rooms were behind doors rusting under their paint in that dingy alley and my wife said the one she went into was not nice. I honestly don't know how you could give this a 4 or 5 rating. If I knew what we were going to experience, I'd never give my driver's license to that guard and we would find another of the many seafood places in town. Sorry Sauder's, you need to make an investment in your business.

We started out with a chocolate martini & a Whispering Angel Rose. Both were refreshing and very celebratory for my friends birthday. Since it was lunch, we went straight to entrees. My husband had the Strawberry Field salad with shrimp. Beautifully crisp and delicious. The shrimp were cooked perfectly even if the salad should have had less dressing. The birthday girl had the short rib grilled cheese which looked exactly like the pictures. She managed to eat the whole thing. I had the steamed clams. The presentation was totally unexpected. It had a pizza dough topper that was puffed up with the clams, linguica & broth nice and steamy underneath. It was an amazing preparation and the dough helped tame some of the spiciness from the linguica. We all said we would come back. I would give this restaurant a solid 4.5 stars as the refill of our water was a big sluggish. Since you cannot rate in 1/2 star increments, I gave it a 5.

It ended up being a great find! The restaurant is spacious with huge windows overlooking the water, which I absolutely loved. It was much too hot to sit outside, so we enjoyed the view from an inside table. We decided to split the steamed clams (without the sausage) and a lobster bisque for lunch. Our server, Sydney, was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The clams were served inside a bread-like pastry. My husband especially enjoyed that part, while I skipped the bread and dug right into the clams--they were fresh and delicious. The lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and just as good. One unexpected bit of entertainment came from the couple seated next to us. It sounded like they were on a first date, and while I certainly wasn't trying to eavesdrop, they were talking so loudly it was impossible not to overhear! They seemed to be having a wonderful time, and it added a lighthearted touch to our lunch. Hope springs eternal! Overall, I was very happy with both our meal and the beautiful waterfront setting. I'd definitely stop here again the next time we're passing through Stuart. The only thing that gave me pause was the dinner menu, which looked a bit pricey, but for lunch this was a very enjoyable stop. You don't need a reservation for lunch so that was a plus. Sometimes you just want to go with the flow, and that is just what we did!
