My husband and I did an overnight trip to Strawberry, specifically to stay here. It was so cute! The booking process and check in process were both so easy. I like that for check in, you get an email with the instructions, so no standing in line! We stayed in an airstream and it was very nice inside. I obviously ordered the super cute coffee mugs to have had a keepsake of our trip!

This little hotel is very nice looking, clean and in a great location. Beds are not the most comfortable but they do the trick. The only complain is that is very noisy after 4:30 AM. There was a loud humming noise that sounded like an RV engine, but it wasn't an RV so it was probably some of the AC units from upstairs. Thank god they have a sound machine in the room. There's is no one to check in so read and follow all of their instructions.

We stayed at The Strawberry Inn this weekend and absolutely loved it! This place is seriously adorable--perfect for a family getaway or a fun girls' weekend. The vibe is so cozy and welcoming. There's a cute little coffee shop right on-site, a free library to grab or leave a book, and the area around the inn is filled with great places to eat and explore. It's peaceful, charming, and full of small-town magic. The best part? It's only about 1.5 hours from Phoenix but 30 degrees cooler--a total escape from the desert heat. We'll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!!

Great place to get away for the weekend. Love the little town of Strawberry and Pine and the Strawberry Inn is a cute place to stay. Has a coffee shop, a couple restaurants in walking distance from the hotel, and beautiful views. The Airstream was a fun experience compared to staying in a normal room, close up to nature, even had some Elk in our site!

Good: Communication with the staff is outstanding. It quiet relaxing place with most necessary amenities. Very nice area and the people of Pine and Strawberry are nice and cordial. We stayed in Cottage 15, 2 bedroom 1 bath unit. Full size refrigerator, garbage disposal and walk in shower. Bed slept good and the bath towels soft and comfortable. Walk in shower but no grab bars. Bad: Pull chain missing on bedroom fan. Towel rack fell off the wall. Shower head was clogged and adjustment nearly impossible. There was a knob missing off the cooktop. Linoleum flooring loose and would rise when the furnace comes on. Wifi was not dependable inside the unit. On the front porch the wifi worked perfectly. No ice or ice trays available. No laundry facilities to the best of my knowledge.

Our 2nd time here. This time we reserved a cottage with a jacuzzi and everything was great! The room smelled and felt clean. Which we appreciate! It snowed this trip and they were so quick to have to road cleared. We will be back. Next time we are looking forward to reserving an air stream.

We've been staying at strawberry inn multiple times since 2020 at a handful of different properties. So much attention to detail with decoration and supplies. The mattresses and pullows are beyond comfy the sheets are buttery soft. Some units are dog friendly they leave a little tote bag with some supplies you may need. The staff are so kind and attentive. We always look forward to our next visits. Ps. The windmill Cafe is amazing as well!! 10 out of 10 everytine

We loved our stay here! The place was very clean and welcoming. It was super easy to access and is such a beautiful place. They have porch swings on the front porch where we spent every morning and night just enjoying the nature around us. PS- The coffee shop on the grounds (Windmill Coffee) is amazing!!!!

This was a fun and cute place to stay! We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, cottage. They have an outdoor area where they played a movie, sold snacks, and had a fire pit table going. The kids loved it!

This place is great! We stayed in a one bed room cottage and it was perfect! The hot tub and fire pit were a nice touch. It was very private and cozy.

We love it here! Just got back from our second stay with the Strawberry Inn. Great hospitality, clean rooms and even extra goodies for my pup. We love Strawberry and Pine, the hiking, food, peace and quiet makes for a nice retreat from the city.

I had a great stay in room number four at the main part. I really liked that it had a door in the back that led outside, it let me take the dog out easily. Next time I go I will not bring a dog, but it was great that they gave him a little goody bag with bowls, a towel, and poop bags to use. Prior to check-in you get an email with the door code and Wi-Fi password. I walked into the cutest setup, there was a couch, dresser, bed, and television. I saw the mini fridge and Keurig and that led me to the restroom with stand- up shower and door to the backyard. I ordered some swag in advance, so it was on the shelf next to the coffee maker. I set my dog's kennel up next to the couch so that we had room to play. The TV was on a swivel mount that you could aim towards the bed or couch. There were two remotes, a welcome binder, and a guest list on top of the dresser. Things could be intimidating if you are not familiar with smart devices, so take a breath and everything will be just fine. The towels and bedding are all white, but there is a black/grey makeup towel near the sink. I made sure to scrub my mascara off with it, so I think it saved the rest of the linens. Speaking of the linens, they were so soft, and I need to look into getting some like it for myself. There is a lot of stuff that is within walking distance, so that works out well for an introvert like me. I forgot, there is a little free library right next to room number four! I wanted to finish one of my books so I could leave it there, but I did not get through it. I checked in around 16:00 on Friday and I reserved late check out, 11:00, on Sunday. I ended up checking myself out around 06:00 on Sunday just because I was up and ready to drive back home.

If you have this place bookmarked and or if you're thinking about booking a stay here - DO IT. Everything was easy and straightforward - from booking online, making payment, to checking in the day of, to even checking out. We spent this past weekend here and we were lucky enough to secure an airstream. Airstream number 2 was the cutest thing ever and it had everything we possibly needed for the weekend. Plates, silverware, a Keurig, cups, microwave, fridge, blow dryer, and a TV! We had early check in so we arrived at 3:15pm. Finding the airstream was a tad bit confusing though since the email said we were to drive past the white picket fence. It is actually not past the fence but more like in the middle of it. We drove up in down Fossil Creek street several times, lol. We received our lockbox code via email at check in time and inside we went. It is so adorable inside and it was very clean - we were in awe.... The beds were nicely made and the décor / color scheme is super cute. There was definitely enough room for the both of us and there is more then enough room for a third person if needed. I will definitely come back again in the near future! This was such a nice getaway from the Phoenix heat and the hustle and bustle of the city.

We booked our wedding almost two…read moreyears in advance, and from the moment we toured the property, Rick completely sold us on the vision and he did not disappoint. Our entire wedding weekend was truly magical. One of the biggest highlights is that you get all 14 cabins on-site for your guests, which makes the experience feel like a private mountain retreat with all your favorite people. Waking up in the morning and seeing wildlife, elk and deer roaming the property was such a special touch that you just can't get anywhere else. The property itself is breathtaking from every angle. The new ceremony overlook site is absolutely stunning, offering views that make your "I do" moment feel unreal. And the string lights that stretch from cabin to cabin and over the dance floor completely transform the space at night. It's magical, warm, and gives off that perfect cozy Hallmark movie vibe. They also provide a super helpful wedding portal for communication. It lays out a clear timeline of all the tasks that need to be completed, each with a deadline, which makes it so easy to stay on track and feel organized throughout the planning process. We used their recommended food vendor, Marcus at Gibson's Smokehouse, who was incredible--the food was amazing. We also had the best team of vendors who are familiar with the venue and with each other, which made everything run even smoother: Photographers: Spets Photography, Videographers: Bumblebee Photo Film, DJ: Javier at C-West Entertainment, Wedding Coordinator: DianaCatherineWeddings Each of them played such a huge role in making the venue shine and bringing our day to life. Another huge perk is that you can bring in most of your own vendors, giving you the flexibility to create the exact wedding you want. The owners (Rick, Amanda & Jason), who live on-site, are incredibly kind, welcoming, and available 24/7 if needed. They walk around during the wedding to ensure everything is running smoothly, and their presence adds such a comforting and supportive touch. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they had. It was seriously the best day ever. We couldn't have envisioned a more perfect wedding from the location, to the setup, to the people who made it all happen. If you're looking for a magical, scenic, cozy, and unforgettable place to get married, this is the place to have your wedding. Highly, highly recommend!- Megan & Cierra

We planned to enjoy their views, a sandwich and glass of wine from their cafe/wine bar and perhaps a friendly conversation with a fellow guest. Sadly it was a big disappointment. The lodge is pretty, but ended up a strange place to stay because it was essentially closed to us. We booked online what was stated as the last of 8 rooms and paid their extra $35 to check-in 2 hours early. Their "SIP" cafe/wine bar is advertised as open to the public. We arrived at 2:30 pm only to find the cafe/wine bar was closed. Shortly after, from our balcony we noticed a man was on the property moving chairs and went downstairs to speak with him. The lodge appeared, sounded and felt completely empty so we asked him if anyone else was there to help us in the cafe. He said no one else was on the property and that the cafe was definitely closed and that he was "only there to set up for a private event for which the entire lodge had been booked." Huh? First we heard of this. At 3:35 pm I phoned their after-hours number and spoke with an owner Lisa who confirmed the lodge had been booked for a private group. She said the cafe had stayed open late for that group and should I have called 15 minutes prior someone in the cafe could have helped me. She also said they can't commit to hours of operation in the cafe because they have trouble keeping staff. Huh? Their website advertises outdoor cafe/wine bar seating that is open to the public and to lodging guests and it advertises outdoor games. However, the seating and games area appeared to be cordoned off for the private event. The cafe/wine bar hours posted on their website, in front of the cafe and in the room are all confusingly different and misleading. Nothing about our stay was relaxing. It was a terrible nights sleep and other than a midnight arrival in the room next door it seemed no one else was there. The lodge felt like a ghost town. By 7 am the parking lot was still empty, by 8:30 am there were a few cars and a couple people in front of the cafe. We thought we were booking a room at a lodge where other guests would be among us--not a private Airbnb. This lodge should never have taken our room reservation without first informing us that they rented out everything else to a private group. This place is pretty but also pretty strange. It was the most inhospitable hospitality environment we have ever not enjoyed. The owner was rudely indifferent. We definitely were not welcomed in the space. Not a good value for our $272 booking. Perhaps if you're a private room block group the place will be open and you'll receive some attention. We highly don't recommend it.

There is seating down by the creek, on the patio off the main room, and inside the main room itself that all have great views. I had a really rough week, and so I booked a more expensive suite with a jacuzzi tub in it. Upon entering the room, we were impressed with the size, but quickly our optimism diminished.... the tub was gross. All of the grout around the tub had huge gaps and cracks where the grout was falling off into the tub. The toiletries were minimal. The shower had a shampoo and conditioner bottle attached to the wall, but no body soap and nothing to bathe in the tub with. I didn't bring toiletries, assuming these would be provided, so unfortunately I wasn't even able to utilize my upgrade. This was actually the least of my worries. We went to to pull out the sofa bed for my kids.... absolutely disgusting! There were huge yellow stains all over the mattress that looked like urine. Not even sure how this passed housekeeping standards. Photos attached. The room had a nasty smell, stains in the carpets and on the sofa, and overall just disgusting. The final straw was when I walked my small dachshund (registered service animal) downstairs to exit the lobby. I had my hands full of personal items, so my son was walking him on a leash. As we exited the lobby, there was a few guests downstairs, and my service animal barked a bit as we walked by. Nothing aggressive or unruley whatsoever! Simply a bark. My son was able to control him, and there was nothing to be concerned about. He wasnt pulling on the leash or charging at anyone, simply walking with my son towards the exit as he excitedly expressed a bark. The lobby agent rudely yelled "maam!! You cant have your dog in here!" I had my hands full and told her that id be right back to speak with her, and she continued to yell, "you cant have your dog in here! Whats your room number!!" At this point, is was offended by her actions and decided that I would take a few minutes to calm down rather than walk back inside. So, after about 20 minutes I called the front desk. I asked her how I would go about requesting a refund on my room, since we still had reservations through tomorrow. She rudely asked why and asked for my room number. I then told her I was the lady with the service animal, and that she rudely discriminated against me instead of asking the proper questions to determine IF my dog was a properly trained animal. Instead, she got extremely defensive and lied, telling me that my dog charged at the person in the lobby, and that there's no way my dog could ever be a service animal... um, no. This isn't how it works lady. You don't get to assume my dog isn't qualified. Nor do you have the right to lie and say my dog is aggressive when he clearly wasn't. She then said she has cameras, and I said great! I'd love to show your manager the footage to prove you wrong. What's your name? ... crickets..... okay, let me speak to your manager.... she hangs up. So, I call back. I instantly get an attitude, and am told that she's the front desk manager now. Okay, awesome! What's your name so that I can tell priceline who i spoke with to get a refund due to discrimination, unprofessional staff, and disgusting rooms... she refuses. Okay, what's your managers name? I need to speak with someone that can provide me with a name, someone who has the professional capabilities to speak with a concerned customer... again, hangs up. This is absolutely unacceptable!!! I have full documentation showing my animal is a fully trained service animal. My son is a diabetic, and my 3 year old dachshund has been through rigorous training to be a diabetic detection animal, that can show signs of alert when my son's blood sugar is at a risky level. Per law, I do not have to go into detail of my son's condition, nor do I need to show documentation, but this woman was completely unprofessional and discriminatory, and ive pursued a claim with corporate. I really hope she loses her job because I will NEVER stay at a choice hotel again
