The town of Jerome is a funky place to begin with... think SF Fisherman's wharf meets ghost town..sorta. I had drinks and dinner at the Hotel and it was okay. Most of the staff was depressed...perhaps Asylum vibe...IDK. The drinks were pricey and watered down. The food was good but very spendy. Good for a one and done.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. Very historic and beautiful. Because it was once a hospital that many people died in they say it's haunted. We will be the judge of that tonight.

We had drinks on the patio and watched the sunset over the valley. It was spectacular. The bar tender was very friendly and kind. He made a great Negroni!!! We'll be back!!

We watched a YouTube video about the history of the now Grand Hotel, and decided to visit it. Our intentions were to have lunch at the Asylum restaurant, but it's closed on Tuesdays. We still wanted to take a look inside of the Grand Hotel, the staff was very cordial. The hotel is nice inside and i wish I would've considered booking a night in just to get the full experience. Perhaps next time.

We celebrated are 32nd wedding anniversary at the Asylum spirits bar located inside the Grand Hotel. Courtney, Kristen and Melanie made are evening a wonderful experience. props to the gals!!! I'd come here again if the opportunity arises again.. if you come to Jerome Arizona, I'd stay here, and visit the wonderful bar, the views are extremely exceptional as well.

Selena was the kindest bartender and delivered excellent service. The Grand Hotel is an absolute treasure and we look forward to coming to Jerome just for this spot multiple times a year. You'd think the view can't be beat, but the service, food, and drinks somehow take the cake!

Such a cool hotel! It's a little pricy but so unique! Lots of antiques and beautiful furniture in the rooms and hallways. Definitely spooky and a little creepy at night but that's all part of the experience. You must stay there to explore the hotel so go check it out! And it's much cooler weather than Phoenix

A piece of history on top of the hill in Jerome. Perfect place to have a delicious lunch. The view from the front porch is amazing. Wonderful staff. Interesting history. A must do while in AZ

Ask the Community - Jerome Grand Hotel

Is there a pool or hot tub?

There are no pools in Jerome. We do not have a hot tub but I believe a couple of B&B's may. Thank you for your inquiry. Larry

    Any spooky experiences?

We stayed overnight and no ghosts. Had a nice room with a balcony and great views. Also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant.

This place is a gym and you are a pearl, a gift. Thank you Andria for your charming and dynamic personality and how you welcome everyone into your home. Very eclectic and eccentric and I loved every minute of it down to cat. Joshua, Bonita, Alyssa, wow, what a special treat to have met you all. Andria, you picked the perfect room for me and my husband, without a doubt. It was charming and the personality of the room was big, bold and flavorful, we loved it. We heard about your gourmet breakfast and I was excited to actually to be able to experience it, and it was not disappointing. The art work was fabulous with a lot of history, the articles were great, but Andria took the time to do her own library. The happy place. Binders of her life, so much time and details. This is the only place that I have ever been that has as many books a small library. Even flip books, a special treat for me for sure. The property was incredible, the gardens, the Koi ponds, special seating everywhere that overlooked the views of the city, quiet and intimate. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Mingus, and also as an excellent way to avoid the excess of nearby Sedona. During the first visits to The Historic Connor Hotel my respite was Room 12, up the creaky wooden stairs to the top floor, where a king bed, private bath and great views of the Verde Valley greeted me every morning. I stayed for several nights, enjoying the first floor Spirit Room Bar and its live music and western comaraderie by night, and its strong coffee and light breakfast at first light if not too hungover. It was a wonderful space to write, reflect and philosophize. It might have been haunted like other places in town, but me and that ghost got along just fine. Two loners we were. I returned three times to Connor, reserving #12 each time. It was a home away from home. Although during those years I occasionally slept in other heads on beds in Jerome when I felt the need for a change, this 1898 stone and brick edifice always had my heart. Jerome apparently doesn't open up until after 10 am and pretty much shuts down by 5 pm. I think if you want to stay in Jerome and you would like an historic cottage, this is a nice place. In February we didn't see any bugs, so that wasn't a problem for us. If you arrive late, stop at grocery store on your way in - I think the Cottonwood Safeway is the closest as there are no grocers in Jerome and the restaurants may be closed.
