LOVE staying here. I love the Western room which has a awesome super high bed with a stool to help shorter folks like myself up and into bed! The room is always super clean, and relaxing. Each room has a lovely balcony, and a great view of the Verde Valley. With covid they aren't currently doing breakfast or Ingrid's delicious cookies, le sigh, lol (she makes the best breakfast). They still have all access to a nice selection of self serve coffee, and tea in the drawing room. Not to mention all the cool antiques, and old photos on the wall. Spend some time checking that room out, it's like a mini museum. I love chai tea, and Ingrid was so sweet, and made sure they were stocked. She makes the stay all that more special every time! Cannot wait until our next stay. Tip: You can bring your pet, they have two rooms that are pet friendly just make sure to call and ask if they are available. One of the rooms is the Western Room.

I only doc a star for minor things It's a great little place. We stayed in the Cleopatra Hill suite. When we arrived, we found our keys and instructions about the property, in mailbox by the front door. Upon entering our room, there was THE strongest smell of patchouli you will ever smell in your life. As someone who hates the smell of patchouli, it was all I could do to breathe in the room. (Owners if you are reading this, something less 1970's would be so much more inviting. The guests next to us complained as well since it was also in the lobby.) Anyways, super tiny room, to be expected because of the time it was built. The shower was SO tiny, and my husband is only 5'8" and he hit his head on the edge of the square glass showerhead. Not the greatest choice of accessory in such a low shower. The lobby was cute and it was nice being able to grab tea or coffee whenever we wanted. We spent a lot of time on the patio and everyone had difficulty with that lock, so it might be worth upgrading it. All in all, cute place to stay. Nothing super accommodating, but cute. We only experienced very minor run-ins with the "unexplained" and I was hoping to have more, but glad I wasn't scared out of my wits by whomever the woman spirit is in the Cleopatra Hill suite.

There isn't a fridge inside the room but there is one right outside. This is outside the Americana Room.

My boyfriend and I had a very nice stay here. We stayed for two nights during Halloween. Since Halloween fell on a Wednesday this year there wasn't much going on that night in the town. Jerome had their annual Halloween party the Saturday before, we heard it's pretty popular so if you're interested, book your stay months in advance. When it comes to the inn, we stayed in the Americana Room. The room was decorated in American Flag everything! bedding, pictures, pillows, it was everywhere. The bed wasn't very comfortable and neither were the pillows so I would suggest you bring your own pillows if you're particular about that type of thing. The room had wifi and a TV. Right outside or door is a patio. The hospitality was warm and friendly. The inn offers complementary breakfast. In the guest book in our room there were multiple entries that raved about the french toast. I'm happy to report that they lived up to their reviews.

Two words. Stay here. It was a wonderful two nights we stayed, perfect view of the sunrise from the Verde View room, it was so pretty. I did witness rush hour, which was about 9 cars driving through town. The bed was comfortable, the pillows a little hard, but I know everyone can't be totally pleased. There was a balcony out to the west, and a few sitting areas in the back. It was wonderful to walk to the lobby, make a cup of coffee and return to the room to sit on the balcony to watch the sun come up. I will totally return here, and absolutely recommend to anyone who is listening!

We had a terrific stay at the Ghost City Inn. We stayed in the Cleopatra room. Cool view! The breakfast was delicious served right around 8am. Real close to all the shops. Didn't encounter any ghosts. Loved the skeleton decorations on the bench. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed we have slept on at a hotel. I could see why the ghosts wouldn't want to leave with that bed being as comfy as it was. Haha! Thank you Ingrid for your kindness.

We spent two nights in two different rooms, one upstairs looking out over the front of the house (Verde View), such a great view in the morning from the porch, very sunny & bright. The second night we stayed on the first floor (Cleopatra), an OK room but not as bright & sunny. The rooms are pretty nice & clean but small, things are a bit rustic but that is part of the charm. As mentioned in another review parking can be tough as the whole town is pretty much carved out of the side of a mountain. Breakfast both mornings was very good however you must be prompt as it is served @ 8:30. Overall I would highly recommend, Jerome is definitely worth a visit.

If you are headed to Jerome you need to stay at the Ghost City Inn. This place is so cute. The owner Ingrid is warm and welcoming. She personally cooks breakfast for all of the guests. This morning we had frittata with fresh fruit! The rooms are cleaner than the chain hotels and very cozy.

The Town of Jerome is a beautiful weekend getaway! For our anniversary, my husband and I wanted to go somewhere we hadn't been before. Some friends had told us about this historic, haunted, hippie, mining town filled with eclectic galleries and shops so we decided to check it out. When we first drove into Jerome, we immediately regretted not having been before. What an awesome little town only two hours away from our front door! We chose the Ghost City Inn based on a few things; one of which was the reputation of surrounding hotels for being loud at night (due to hall wanderers trying to run into paranormal activity). Once I convinced myself the creaking outside my door was the neighboring guest going into their room, I slept like a baby at the Ghost City Inn. We enjoyed our room and outstanding view, another good reason to come here (we had the Verde View Room). Jackie, one of the owners, was there to greet us when we arrived. What a great lady and she knows about all there is to know about the town of Jerome. The next morning, she provided a delicious quiche and breakfast potatoes. The breakfast was delicious, the Inn was perfect.

My boyfriend and I decided to spend our one year anniversary here, so glad that we did! We loved sitting on the front veranda drinking coffee or wine... The adorable patio in the back was almost enchanting! And the breakfast mmmmm the breakfast!!! It was delicious! Fruit galore, delicious spicy cheesy potatoes and en egg frittata :) Definitely a place to check out! Loved that Jackie picked on my boyfriend in the morning! She made us all laugh and feel so comfortable! Thank you!

I truly loved this place! The locale was prefect. As soon as you get up the winding hill, boom it's right in your face. The rooms have shared balcony space that offers exceptional views to Sedona and you can also see the top of snowbowl in Flagtaff. Ingrid, the innkeeper, was a great host. She was welcoming, friendly, and easy to talk with. She showed us to our room, which was perfect for the 3 of us. There was one queen bed, that was extremely comfortable, and a trundle bed in the next room. My brother said it was comfortable as well. He's 6'2 and said the bed fit him fine. Breakfast in the morning was yogurt and fresh fruit and Ingrid whipped up a made from scratch egg bake that consisted of sausage, broccoli and other goodies. We debated on staying till 830 for the breakfast because we were driving back to Bisbee that morning but we all agreed that we were glad we did. It was fantastic! I highly recommend Ghost City Inn and also the city of Jerome. It was a great time! the end.

We usually just go up for the day and check out the local shops, drink wine and eat food from "not chains." This time we wanted more as it was our two year anniversary AND the Jerome Historic Home Tour. I couldn't find a place but being the most resourceful gal ever, Rach nabbed what had to be one of the last rooms available in town. When we pulled up, I have to admit I didn't know what to expect. Once we got situated inside I realized what a great find Rach had really made. I really liked this B&B had only one guest suite as it has it's own separate entrance and patio that can see all the way to Sedona. B&B's to me always seem a little confined as the rooms are usually a little older and not much space to really relax. Not so at Hillside. I really like the separate living area with its great assortment of historical references on Jerome, (we came for a bit of history and were pretty impressed with what we found). And the back patio, it's quiet and has views that are tough to beat. The owners Nancy and Mike couldn't have been cooler as well. They gave us plenty of ideas for things to do in town and really made the experience that much more enjoyable. Breakfast was filling and delicious and the coffee didn't suck. Although there are a couple other places I am eager to see and stay in Jerome I am really looking forward to the next time I can spend time at Hillside. Oh, be sure to find the book about Ghost Towns. It's big and white and the pages for Jerome are falling out. Worth the find!
