This is the place to stay if you're visiting Cottonwood or Jerome! This hotel is only about a year old, so everything is new. It's located just north of Old Town Cottonwood right next to the Tuzigoot Monument (which is a must-see). It's only about a 15min drive up to Jerome. The main lobby is very nice and plays calming indigenous flute music. There is a patio with a scenic view, with seating and fire pits. It overlooks some brush, the Verde River, and mountains in the distance. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Breakfast has a lot of offerings, including fresh pastries, fruit and orange juice, and a nice dining area. Everyone there was kind and helpful. Since it is owned and operated by the Hopi tribe, there's indigenous artwork throughout and even an art gallery and gift shop inside. We had a great experience here. It's peaceful and comfortable, with beautiful artistic touches. The Taawaki Inn is exactly what traveling is supposed to be.

Clearly states breakfast on the check in paperwork.

This place was interesting. It was very clean and very new looking. The room we had was great, clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and there was an array of different types of pillows, which I appreciate. We also had a mini fridge if we needed it for drinks as well as a coffee maker. The problem was that there was no creamer in the room for coffee. I was also told upon check in that in the morning there would be pastries for a small breakfast and fresh coffee. I went out at around 6am and the coffee was luke warm at best and no food. I came back at 710, since that was the stated hours and there was still nothing. I asked the front desk and he said there would not be pastries and if he wanted, he would make new coffee. I told him not to bother. Would I stay again? Sure. But the next time I wouldn't expect there to be any food available or fresh coffee.

I stayed at this hotel on a solo trip everything from the room, views and the customer service were top-notch Desiree and her staff are AMAZING! Thank you all so much I will be back and highly recommend!

Nice view from the second floor..

When I saw the John Wayne suite, I knew my wife, a huge fan of the Duke, just needed to stay there! I booked it for our wedding anniversary and what a great choice that was!!! Karen was so sweet, she introduced herself and went above and beyond in making sure our stay was delightful. The room was much bigger than anticipated, and we really enjoyed the hardwood floors. We had easy access to the balcony, with great views of Main Street and were within walking distance to so many fun shops and restaurants. We had a lovely stay, and would definitely book the John Wayne Suite again.

They give you a door code to get into the room hallway and another code for your room door...how cool is that? At the end of the hallway there was a super cool balcony overlooking Main St. at night we sat out and listened to the band play at Kactus Kate's. Small bathroom was super clean with lots of towels. Overall this was a great stay. Super convenient at a competitive price.

This place is a gym and you are a pearl, a gift. Thank you Andria for your charming and dynamic personality and how you welcome everyone into your home. Very eclectic and eccentric and I loved every minute of it down to cat. Joshua, Bonita, Alyssa, wow, what a special treat to have met you all. Andria, you picked the perfect room for me and my husband, without a doubt. It was charming and the personality of the room was big, bold and flavorful, we loved it. We heard about your gourmet breakfast and I was excited to actually to be able to experience it, and it was not disappointing. The art work was fabulous with a lot of history, the articles were great, but Andria took the time to do her own library. The happy place. Binders of her life, so much time and details. This is the only place that I have ever been that has as many books a small library. Even flip books, a special treat for me for sure. The property was incredible, the gardens, the Koi ponds, special seating everywhere that overlooked the views of the city, quiet and intimate. I WOULD RECOMMEND
