I've never had a bad thing at the Stillery. Love the cheese curds and any of the tacos, shrimp or cod are very good. Service is also very good, which you can't say much any longer. The bar is small, but "it is, what it is". If you go right at prime meal time, expect to wait, but there is a wide bourbon selection and the bar staff will mix you up what ever you can come up with. read more

Stopped in on Saturday afternoon for lunch. The space is great. Love what they've done to the place. Service was awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Drinks were delicious and it was a nice pour. Food: We started with the cheese curds. A tray of hot gooey goodness is never a bad thing. The curds were standard/good and served with a side of ranch. There is a Cajun option that I think we'd try next time just to kick it up a notch or perhaps a different dipping sauce. I had the Stillery Chicken sammy (with their house coating on the Chix) and my guy had the same but with grilled chicken. We both loved our sandwiches. In both cases the chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful. The house fries are good- almost like potato scoops. Similar to the curds, we couldn't help but think they would go from good to amazing (and something special) if they were offered with a seasoned salt, Cajun seasoning or something just to give them a little more love. We will def be back so the next time we are in will ask if we can add something like that to the fries. read more

Spent the day at Holy Hill and wanted to try a place in the area. While we were driving we just googled places nearby and came across The Stillery. Looked like they had quite a bit to chose from so we decided to stop. It was very crowded when we went but it was only a 15 minute wait and I don't even think it took that long. We got a drink from the bar, bartender at that time seemed a bit off but we tried the PB&J old fashioned and a tequila one. The PB&J was weird lol and the tequila one tasted exactly like a RC cola, not bad just different. Once seated our waitress came over pretty quick, she wasn't unfriendly but didn't really seem to into serving us. Maybe it was because they were busy but she just didn't give off friendly vibes at all. For apps we went with the cheesy garlic bread and Cuban rolls. Both were very good although the bread could've used more garlic, you could barely taste it. I went with the garlic mushroom burger which was also very good, again, just needed more garlic flavor. Maybe it's just me but I love garlic so for some it's probably just the right amount. We asked for a side of their beer cheese, we weren't told how much, so for anyone that would like to get the same thing, it was an additional $2. Overall, we're glad we stopped. Waitress could've given a smile or two but we were satisfied with the food and the service. We would go back if in the area. read more

We went to the Stillery for lunch today in their Richfield location. My husband, myself, and his friend from Nevada went. Kelly, our waitress, was AWESOME. She was friendly, kind, and helpful. We had the beer cheese and pretzels, as an appetizer, and they were GREAT. My husband had an Old Fashioned, which was good, as always. Our friend had the Spotted Cow beer, which she loves. I had a Malibu and Coke, which was very good. I had the Caesar Salad and added shrimp. They forgot the shrimp, but brought some out when I let them know. It was YUMMY, as always. My husband had the shrimp tacos, which he loves. His friend had the steak tacos, which she loves. It was nice to let our friend try a great place, like the Stillery. My husband found this place for happy hour and was so excited to take me. We went for lunch before the Packers game. It definitely started to fill up the closer we got to kickoff. Plenty of parking, decent sized dining room, and the bar had a nice amount of stools but I can imagine seating gets tough. The bartenders were so friendly and efficient. They have a lengthy bar but I bet it's hard to find seating during peak hours. I started with the best margarita I have had in a while. I drank it before my husband had half of his beer. The liquor selection is huge. They have Casamigos reposado and blanco, so naturally I had one tequila press with each option. For dessert I had their Cookie Dough Float. So creative and absolutely delicious! We've decided we're coming back for my birthday because that will be my cake. The food exceeded my expectations as well. Get the cheese curds, Cajun style, with the spicy sauce. I was put off by the spice being dumped messily over the curds but they turned out to be perfect. I ordered a side salad and the cauliflower appetizer. Decent side salad; fresh mixed greens and vegetables. The cauliflower was crispy and had the perfect amount of sauce. My husband got the club which he said was tricky to eat but worth it. The fries were unusual in the best way. Not quite potato skins, not quite fries, an excellent in between. I'm so excited to hear that they are opening a location in Grafton! I can't wait to become regulars!! read more

Good Lord..the food here is phenomenal. I've been here twice. This place is not on a main strip. It's a destination spot. And it's busy, and for good reason. Let's start with the wings. I asked they be well done; often times restaurants undercook chicken wings. Not here. They were just right. The raspberry habanero sauce is a bit different. Don't let "habanero" fool you. I don't think it's hot at all. It's just good. Bourbon BBQ and hot garlic were good as well. For my tastes, I would get these wings with extra sauce. I've had the shrimp tacos. Usually I like tacos with a bit of extra hot sauce. But it was just so good I forgot to add some hot sauce. It was perfect as it is. They have a dessert in which vanilla ice cream is wrapped in chocolate chip cookie dough and deep fried. It was so good but must've been 2000 calories. The service is good, the bathroom is clean, the parking lot has space despite it being busy, there's a bar side to get rowdy and a dining area that is okay for kids. read more

Did not regret our impromptu lunch date here, we will be back! Stopped by on a Wednesday around noon and it was surprisingly very busy! The restaurant has a nice large bar, many high top tables and some regular tables. Staff were all friendly and accommodating to our infant. They had a decent tap beer selection and a long list of cocktails, with an emphasis on bourbon! The food menu included a good variety-burgers (including a beyond burger), sandwiches, tacos, appetizers. Our orders were accurate and we were served promptly! On our way to Cabelas and needed lunch. Found this little gem on the way. Cute decor and friendly staff and quick service. I had the avocado steak salad and my hubby had the shrimp tacos. Both were brought out to us quickly and with a smile. The salad was fresh and loaded with blackened steak pieces, avocado, blue cheese, romaine lettuce, cucumber and red onions also was topped with a nice crunchy pile of onion tangelers. My hubbys tacos, 3 of them were piled full and full of shrimp and topped with a drizzle of spicy sauce. Being early in the day we decided not to partake in the many yummy whiskey that was offered. This is one of the best restaurant operations I've ever seen. They have a well trained staff throughout. Fun and friendly greeting. Service is nothing short of amazing. The waitress knowing the menu, quick delivery of drinks, an appropriate amount of checking on food and drink, the entire staff is working as a team. They hustle and are constantly observing. I don't think an empty plate sat in the table more than a minute. It was interesting because I still felt relax and not rushed. The owners here can be very proud of what they have created. They should offer classes or write a blog on best practices for running a restaurant. The food and drinks were very good. Definitely high on our list! read more

We ordered chips and salsa , Mac and cheese, salad, a Stillery chicken sandwich, and drinks. Great beer and wine menu and I will return to check out the bourbon menu. We went here for the first time on a Saturday evening. I am sure the other reviews state how great the place is and how crowded it gets. Crowds: I can't hold it against a place for being that good in an area that needs good food with a casual ambiance and drawing a huge crowd. In short, if you go at busy times, like Sat. night, expect the crowd. I had a friend hold the table for us (so nice, he waited, not me). It was wall to wall packed when we entered. Like, I was worried I was going to knock someone's drink over when I was passing them since I was pushing up on people trying to get through. It's not the Stillery's fault that this many people like them, right? I can't hold that against them, but it's a little too much for my taste. Once we were seated, service was great, but you could feel the server, understandably, trying to flip the table to serve the next party. "Is there anything else you need?" and all the other questions to move you out of your seat. I can't blame her. They're doing their job. But again, it felt rushed and crowded. I wouldn't go at a busy time again. This said, I just read yesterday that they are opening a new location in GRAFTON, so this is good. They can spread the love and possibly lighten the crowds. The food: It was worth the crowds. It's good food. People that live in these corners of the metro area know that it's harder to get good food and good drinks around here. We all had great food and I would definitely go back again during a non-crowded time. I am happy they are opening the 2nd location in Grafton. It may spread the crowd out or it may just be equally as crowded, picking up a new audience in the Grafton area. Good for them. They have a good thing going. read more

We had a great experience for our first time there. The bartender sat us, super warm and friendly. Brought us an incredible bar-height high chair for my toddler (awesome). Our waitress was able to answer my menu questions and gave me a great recommendation. The Spotted Cow cheese dip was spectacular. I had the corned beef pot pie (a March special) which was creamy and flavorful and delicious. My mom had the steak salad which she loved as well. My son dipped everything on his plate into that cheese dip. Great food, great service. I will be back! read more

nice hip bar hidden in Richfield, that's clearly getting a lot of love! we went with a party of six around 6pm & were shocked with how packed it was ... you could barely walk through the bar to get to the hostess station. they estimated an hour and a half wait. we actually chose to go somewhere else because there was not a single corner left unoccupied. it was nice that they took your phone number to track your place in line. once we got our table, we were all really pleased with their drinks menu & bar food spread. I was a big fan of the PB&J old fashioned ... super sweet, but a really fun combo. the star of the show was their cauliflower app, delicious breading & sauce ... if you listen to anything I say, try these. cuban rolls & cheese curds were good, but not the star of the show. we had an assortment of entrees, but the family favorites was their stillery burger & the fish fry (great sized hunks of cod, and really good tarter). their fries are also insanely addicting. worth the trip, but come early, or come not in a rush. read more

We started going to the Stillery at the very start of the pandemic to support local restaurants. To say the least, this is a very popular place and still remains to have a huge following. The food has been spot on whether it was carry out/call ahead drive-thru or dine-in. In the winter the restaurant is packed inside but the waits seem to move fairly fast. In the SJ. We there is a small patio for outdoor dining that is packed as well. The food is very consistent and good. There is a full bar that features a good selection of beer and a seemingly countless selection of whiskeys. While service is fantastic, know that the carry-out/ call ahead drive thru does take some time. It appears they do not start your order prep until you get there, so I'd show up a bit earlier if you choose to take this option. Still great food. Sometimes you need to wait for the good stuff. read more
