We had the best time at Elbow Room! We had a group of four and were able to sit on the outside patio. The restaurant is majority patio seating, with some limited seating inside. Some of us got cocktails and some didn't, but they have great options for both food and drink. Our server was so friendly and helpful! She even was able to bring out the chef, Max, who helped us out with something on the menu. The food was amazing, you cannot go wrong. They have a nice outside patio with a lot of seating, however, the seating inside is limited. We went on a Thursday and there was a wait for a table so expect it to be busy! Indoor seating has About 15 seats around the bar and 4 high top seating which isn't very comfortable since you're literally inches away from the next high top table. One should be taken out for easier access to sit and move around especially when the wait staff comes. On a stunning day like today, my friend and I were itching to find the perfect patio to soak up the sun! Our second stop on our adventure was the charming Old Room. We barely had to wait before they whisked us to our table, just in time to dive into their amazing all-day happy hour on Mondays! We were both treated to delicious double Tito's drinks that were refreshing, but with a sneaky kick that could turn the day into a wild one--thankfully, we had the day off to enjoy! We kicked things off with their incredible truffle fries, which were a fantastic start! Each of us ordered our wings, and I was in heaven with my garlic parmesan wings that were perfectly garnished. Update! Came back and figured I'd add a couple more thoughts and updates. The food was much better this time cause I got the smash burger that was juicy and made well. The fries were also great. The chips and French onion dip were good but the dip was a little hard and difficult to actually dip. The pinsa/pizza was incredible and I'd highly recommend it! I'm still giving four stars and honestly I even considered 3 cause when they are busy the wait times they give seem completely random. The people at the front always say "20 minutes." I actually almost left cause they kept saying 20 minutes and didn't tell me I was both next o the list and they were about to clean our table. My husband saw the open table and asked then they said "oh right - we can seat you now." Overall it's good but I've had enough frustrating waiting experiences there that I probably won't come back. Tried this place for the first time last night! Overall a good experience but a few bumps. We ordered chips and dip to start, but they came out with our meal instead. Our server and her trainee didn't introduce themselves and forgot silverware and water -- we had to ask for both. We originally wanted the Mahi tacos for Friday fish but they were out, so we went with the BBQ chicken pickle pizza (amazing!!) and the birria grilled cheese, which tasted more like shredded roast beef and really needed an au jus sauce. They asked if we wanted fries or chips with the grilled cheese and we said truffle fries without being informed it was a 6 dollar up charge! Most servers let their patrons know if there is an up charge in anything. Drinks were mixed -- the lemon drop martini was super sweet and could've used more tartness , but the smoked Manhattan was spot on. Ambience was 10/10, service about a 5/10, food an 8/10. It had a great patio so we sat outside. Soon after getting our drinks we looked down to see a fly in one. Gross but understandable for being outside. Yesterday, we spent our Sunday Funday at The Elbow Room in Brookfield! We had such a great time! The staff was so friendly and kind! My favorite items in particular were the birria grilled cheese, the pizza, and their French fries. Everything had such a nice touch! The chicken potstickers were very flavorful, the nachos were creamy / cheesy, and the burger had a nice buttery taste to it. The bourbon flight also made us feel extra special! I wanted to love this place but unfortunately our group did not have a good experience here. I came here for my birthday dinner with some friends as we wanted to sit outside on a nice patio. We were seated right away and placed our order within 15 minutes of arriving. Unfortunately an hour later we still did not have our food. We asked how much longer it would take and were told 5 more minutes. The other 2 people in my group got their food about 10 minutes later, and I had to take mine in a to go box because it was not ready for another 30 minutes. I would have posted pictures of the pizza I got, but I didnt even have a chance to eat my food until after I drove home with it. The staff was nice but didn't tell us that they only had 1 chef working the entire night until after we got our food and didn't even offer anything after I had to take my food to go. Wanted to love this place but... Monday burger special was not explained well at all - each topping was an additional $1, including the "fried onions" which were literally two pieces of onion. We were moved from the bar to a table but they didn't move our tab so they forgot where we went which meant food took a solid hour to arrive. We never ever figured out who our server was supposed to be...no drink refills, no asking how things were. We had to ask who our server was to ask to order something and then we finally had to flag someone down to pay. The food was great. I had the buffalo chicken wrap. It was well balanced in taste and ingredients. No iceberg lettuce here! Slightly soured greens and cucumber were great with the spicy chicken and blue cheese. It was so full that a toothpick might have been nice to hold it together. Wait another 20 minutes to be greeted with only 10 people on the bar and two bartenders, three waitresses and two managers. The managers were just shooting the shit and then bossing staff around. We ordered our food with our drinks. The food took an Hour and 20 minutes to get to us with 3 tickets in front of us. The people who sat after us with more people got their food before us. I was visiting from Denver and my local family suggested Elbow Room. We went specifically for the patio dining. The patio was packed but we manage to be seated right away after another party left. The food was delicious but it was the management and service that was most impressive. These people really care about their patrons and will help out without hesitation in a moment of need. One of my family member's suffered a physical disablement both coming into and leaving this establishment and the manager/owner sprung into action totally saving the day for us. Nice patio on a fall late Friday afternoon was spoiled by some of the most ordinary food. Very limited menu after 5 on a Friday because they prepare fish fries and don't have the kitchen space, so they serve only a few other items. Since we didn't want a fish fry we ordered 2 of the smash burgers - one had a hair in it and the homemade chips were crumbled into small pieces and over cooked. Also ordered bang bang shrimp just before the 5 o'clock cut-off and you would not know that it was shrimp. I believe at best it was tiny frozen shrimp put in some hot sauce? Waitress was great and offered some discounts but you could sense her frustration with the kitchen - "they are still working on getting their act together". Solid beer selection, seems like a missed opportunity to not carry Bilbao brewing just up the street. But they did have Raised Grain and Third Space. Pineapple vodka available and was tasty. Full bar so plenty of options. Service was on point and food was solid. Pizza was good, would have liked it a little more browned on the crust but good flavor. Pastrami Sandwich was amazing nice bread and meat was generous. I'll go back just for that. Key lime cupcake was good, whip cream vs merengue but good. Crust was a little watery for me. Odd complaint but they had some hospital tv show on 4 or 5 of the tv's and it was a brewers night. So the hospital show is going elbows deep into some patients guts and I'm trying to look anywhere but the tv's but there everywhere and it was just a bad pairing with food.
