Curd your enthusiasm pizza, bottle of wine we bought in the retail area, Basil Pesto Tots were on the empty plate.

I've been a bunch of times, and it's super chill. High top tables, good size bar, outdoor seating- it was really a fun birthday spot a few years ago. The food menu isn't extensive but I really like the basil pesto tots - they are like croquettes, much bigger than regular tots and not shredded potato. I've been a little disappointed by the cheese platter so I just don't get that anymore. They have boozy ice cream and little truffle options for sweets too. The retail space has a lot of fun stuff to peruse, and a variety of wine bottles to share.

Wine cellar, beer selection

3C is a fun, causal wine/beer bar to grab a quick drink, go on a date, or I even saw quite a few large groups celebrating events! They have a fun selection of wine and craft beers for off sale. The staff are very attentive and made great suggestions. I loved both of my wines and next time I'll try a cheese board. I also want to try their Saturday date night deal (1/2 off your first 2 drinks + $2 pizza)!

I've had Three Cellars on my list to check out for so long I'm so happy it did not disappoint! The staff were friendly and helpful, I asked for a recommendation based on what I usually drink and they helped me out. A friend and I sat at the bar and had a few glasses of wine and some "Tots" off the menu and everything was delicious. They have a nice selection of wines and a perfect grid system on their price tags for how dry/sweet and bold/mild the wine is. They also have a great selection of labels if (like me) that's how you choose your wine! The place has nice low lighting so you can see but the vibe is very laid back for a wine place and they also have a nice selection of craft beers to purchase to take home separated by WI, Midwest and U.S!

We have been to Three cellars many of times for date nights & friend outings. We always have a great time when we come & enjoy all their selections. Once you walk in it's open w/ seating areas, wine racks, craft beers, root beers & more. The staff is always friendly & knowledgeable about their wines & beers. The huge plus you can bring in our own food from anywhere restaurants, home & or order a few snack options there. It's all open seating unless you call ahead to reserve a table. Some people order from the restaurant in the same Plaza called Ally's bistro that have variety of food selections including desserts & will deliver your food to Three Cellars as well. On some Saturday's they have a an amazingly delicious food truck parked in front called Smoked 225 which is black veterans owned w/ bbq, collard greens, rolls & more from 12-5p. I will definitely recommend visiting & or hosting events here.

Love this place. Great beer selection as well as service. If you're hungry try Ally's bistro and get it to go.

We have been to Three Cellars a half dozen times, but only Saturdays, as they have the wonderful Smoked at 225 BBQ truck out front on Saturdays serving up some delicious food. Jonas and Amy are awesome. We often pair it with one of their 24 beers on tap, or recommended wines on the list. Also, you can request to have any wine in the store opened for an additional fee. Although there is an extra charge you may find something wonderful. I believe it was Matt and Rob behind the bar. They are really knowledgeable about their beers on tap and can suggest something that you may not normally try. We will back again next Saturday.

Wow! Amazing place. There is a wine and beer tasting every Saturday! And it's free! Awesome staff. Great selection of everyday drink along with rare and hard to find beer and wine. Great place for beginners and hardcore hopheads alike. Cons - Wish it was open 24/7.

Interactive boards/menus with plenty of options.

Most of the night was amazing until some "Karen" on the customer side of the bar "threw" us out.

When is a "Traditional Bratwurst" served with deep fried potatoes. It's all show, expensive show. They push the beer and drinks, sure, it's German themed. What apparently is not understand by the owners is that in order to consume alcoholic beverages one needs a good meal in them. Like a broth soup! Does this place even know how to make soup without cheese? What sauerkraut? Is sauerkraut German? Apparently not in Germantown. And the multiple plug--in air fresheners in the bathroom oozing out the fake covering odor onto the people on the bar stools and sitting at the tables, covering whatever real scent of food is left. The kitchen is in the building next door - Relish Supper club. In a time when Germantown really needs a place for quality German food, the owners (who also own Stillery in Richfield and some other place) give us a supper club. RIP German heritage in Germantown. The best place for German food in all of Milwaukee is still at 59th & National, not in Germantown.

We tried a couple of other places, but they had very long waits, including Relish. We couldn't get in, but we saw a couple of people go next door to Von Rothenburg, so we decided to tag along, hoping that there might be something there. So glad that we did. Both Relish and Von Rothenburg are owned by the Angel's Share Hospitality Group. It's a German-style pub with very distinctive German-style architecture. When you walk in, there is a large bar. Most of the bar stools were filled. There is a dining room adjacent to the bar and another one upstairs. Most of the tables have plain wooden tops, a good fit for the pub atmosphere. The walls are stucco and trimmed in oak. The place has a relaxed feel to it. We took an open table, and in several minutes our bartender/server greeted us, gave us menus, and took our drink orders. We got a couple of small glasses. They had my favorite, Stiegl Grapefruit Radler. The food menu is not especially German and has a wide variety of items, ranging from burgers, pasta, seafood, and fish frys (referred to as Relish Cod/Perch Fry, which is a nod to the Relish restaurant next door). They had several specials, including a Herb-Crusted Rack of Lamb, and being a fan of lamb, I had to order that. We also got a Clubhouse Burger, ordered medium rare. It took a bit for the food, and our server kept us updated (and apologized) on the progress. To me, it didn't seem that long of a wait, but I appreciated the earnestness of our server, which was demonstrated the entire evening (thanks, Tanner). While I was waiting I had my side salad. It was good, with the surprise of some avocado. When it arrived, both meals were hot, well presented, and good portions. The lamb was served a perfect medium rare. The flavors from the herbs were outstanding. Lots of rosemary, and the au jus was rich and flavorful. The accompanying Sweet Potato Gratin was just okay. Not sure if the potatoes were cooked enough for my liking. The pile of potatoes had a Gruyère-like cheese that I didn't feel was a good complement. The burger was very good, in spite of being overcooked to medium well. The side of fries was hot and very tasty. Overall, a good meal and a place that we would likely return to. They have a huge patio in the rear, and I'm sure it's a lively beer garden during nice weather.

You know I love a good hidden gem…read more Old Germantown is just that. We were in the general area-ish doing some shopping and wanted to get some pizza for takeout some place closeby to enjoy at home while watching the Olympics (because it's in Italy--so pizza seemed like just the thing). A search on Yelp brought up this place as somewhat closeby. It was after dark when we went in search of it. We drove down a rural road past what appeared to be a driveway that led to a farm. This can't be it. We tried again. Navigation brought us to the same driveway. My husband was ready to give up. I decided to call the business. A kindly gentleman answered and said--yep! It will look like you're driving to a farm but we're here! As we got closer to the end of the drive we saw a bustling parking area. While it might be hard to find--the people have found it. And, so did we. We entered to find beer hall vibes with tons of communal seating. We asked if we could order to go which they were more than willing to accommodate. We found a couple bar stools at their bar, ordered our salads and pizza, and then enjoyed a couple of stout beers while we waited. The beers, salad, and the pizza straight from their wood fired pizza oven were all fantastic. We got one of their specialty pizzas which was a white pie that comes with ricotta (as well as mozz) mushrooms, and basil on a crust that has just the right amount of chewiness and char. Lovely! The folks working here were above-and-beyond friendly. And, one told us that they have a large outdoor patio during pleasant months. We will definitely be back during the pleasant months. And, let's be real--during the less than pleasant months as well. Get to it!

The chips were salty and crunchy (a good thing) and the dip was very rich and flavorful. Next came out our pizza we got margheta and a pepperoni pizza. Both were amazing the pepperoni pizza was very cheesy something about this place all the flavors were rich. The margheta pizza was also amazing everything tasted like it was created in the restaurant. You can taste every ingredient in the pizza welly combined. The lemonade was also homemade and came in beautiful cups. Overall the food was amazing. I definitely will be coming back and can't wait until the summer the outside of the restaurant looks like it's going to be beautifully lit up and a great vibe. Almost forgot about desert!!!! The chocolate gelato tasted nothing like anything I've had before it tasted like you were eating a chocolate bar like the expensive chocolate bars. Definitely a hidden gem that deserves hype.

I love going to the game but something about being outdoors in the Beer Garden in front of the area that made it super special. The energy was unmatched and I was completely blown away that this venue is free to the general public to get in. Not sure if it gets much better than that.
