Don't get the chili cheese fries . I would probably say they were a 3/10. The fries were a 3 but the chili was like a -8. There was no cheese at all. Waste of money. My son actually gagged when he tried a fry. The chili just had no flavor. There was a heavy onion flavor. It was so bizarre. I could see the chili and it was chunky and a lot of it but you just couldn't taste it. I don't think there was any cheese at all on there. We threw away over half of it. What a great variety of menu they offer! They have so many different items on their menu that can cater to your cravings. I ordered their Ahi Tuna Salad and it was so delicious. The tuna, the salad, and all the toppings were so fresh and flavorful! It was so flavorful that I rarely had to use the dressing. The dressing was also really good touch to it. Love the onion strings in it too. We ordered it for to-go and even with that, it was perfect. Highly recommend and def will go back to try their burgers and fries in person. read more

A fun spot for burgers with multiple locations in Irvine. We went to this one for a fundraiser and they were donating 25% of the profits to the organization. There is plenty of parking in the plaza. The indoor seating is made up of mostly large tables. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. The staff is very friendly and they keep the line moving quickly. It looks like after you're done dining, the staff will clean up the tables. There was a point where all the trash cans were full and a lot of the tables still had used trays and trash that had been sitting for a while. Even so, there were still plenty of clean tables that were open. My favorite item to order is actually the short rib grilled cheese. It's packed with meat and the outside of the bread has toasted cheese on it. The burgers are a decent size and they have lots of options for sides and drinks. It's a good place to go if you're looking for a classic American meal. read more

Ordered through a third party office catering app, and the food came nicely packed with the salad dressing on the side. The chicken chopped salad does not skimp on the chicken pieces, it was loaded with so much protein and veggies. Came here for the first time with a friend to catch up. I have heard of The Stand, but never been until now. Unfortunately, it seems that the date and time I came in was bad timing. I came on a Wednesday around 6pm, and was really surprised to see how large and spacious the restaurant is. You order at the front counter, and they give you a number to bring to your table. The girl working the counter was super sweet and friendly! We got to sample a few beers, and ultimately I ended up going with the cherry limeade seltzer and it was amazing. I ordered the piri piri chicken, with half rice and half lettuce. It wasn't until after I paid, and started walking towards a table that another staff notified me that they were out of rice, and I could sub it for more greens. I was a little bummed to find out after the fact, without an option to change my order. The piri piri chicken itself was delicious, and the sauce it came was paired perfectly! I've dined in and have ordered a couple times through door dash. The Stand never has disappointed me! I love their salads, burgers and hot dogs. I ordered delivery through the Stand website which made it very easy. They use the Door Dash platform. Today we ordered a chili hot dog, and mushroom burger and an egg bacon burger. The burgers were great! We were able to order it with a medium cook which is great. I can't do well done burgers! Our burgers were delicious and well prepared. I have had the French onion soup burger and the burger with the crispy onion strings in the last and they're both excellent as well. We ordered a chili dog with banana peppers and red onions but there wasn't much chili on the hot dog so I was a little disappointed! The hot dog bun had cooked so it wasn't as good as eating it in the restaurant. I have gone into the restaurant a few times. It's always clean and the service is solid. You order and pay first at the counter and they will give you a number for your table. They bring the food to the table so I'd suggest tipping appropriately when you order and pay since they do serve you the food. One of my favorite burger places for sure! Highly recommend. read more

4 of us came in at 5:30 for dinner. It took longer than usual to get to the order (20 minutes) stand. There was only one woman taking orders. We sat down at a table and the couple who ordered after us got their meals in a timely manner. We sat for another 10 minutes and still didn't get our food. I went up to the counter to see what was going on and they said they were working on it. A few minutes later a young woman brought us our food but my wife's order was incorrect so we sent it back. 10 minutes later they returned with the correct order. The food was delicious but by the time we left the line was almost to the entry door and there were at least 6 tables that had dirty dishes left on them. We felt bad for the workers who were working their buns off to get the orders out. Management needs to step up and help their employees by adding more staff. read more

The steak in the salad was perfectly cooked, tender, and the chimichurri dressing gave it this amazing, vibrant, fresh kick. On the flip side of the comfort-food spectrum, the Short Rib Grilled Cheese was pure heaven--rich, savory, perfectly melted, and loaded with flavor. Beyond the food, the service was fantastic. The staff was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and incredibly quick. We didn't have to wait long at all, which is a massive blessing when you're already drained from a long day. Burgers here are excellent (even the basic $9 stand burger is delicious), beef patty cooked to your preference. I love how they have different milk shake flavors by the seasons (this time they have a strawberry shake - please bring back the Thai tea milkshake!). They have inside seating and outside seating and bathrooms are nice and clean. Went on a weekday during lunch and ambiance was pretty calm but cheery.
