If I were you I would run the other direction. George did not return my calls when he said he…read morewould, altho he was quick to offer up excuses as to why. He said he didn't really want to come out to give me a quote unless he could go ahead and do the work, because it was so much trouble to drive all the way out to Lafayette from S.F. I should've taken these as red flags, but wanted to give him a chance. When I did give him the ok to do the work, he started by spraying water under my front door, even tho that was not one of the areas I asked him to wash. Water poured in onto our hard wood floors, and when I ran outside to stop him, all he could say to me was "sorry". He then washed our garage door, another area I did not ask him to wash, again, spraying water into the garage, onto all of our belongings stored in there, and with gallons of water (my water, mind you) pouring underneath onto my garage floor, leaving our stuff sitting in puddles. He then proceeded to spray thru a vent, which sprayed dirt and debris into our laundry room, which happened to have a clean load of white laundry open and about to be moved to the dryer. Again, all he could say was "sorry", no offer to help me clean up or mop up. Well me too. It took me a solid hour of cleaning up after he left! I ended up having to have another company come out and redo the job because the shingles also needed to be sealed, which George said wasn't something he did. The other company said the job was not done properly at all, and had to rewash everything. But they did it right, and covered all the doors and windows and vents, made sure as the work was being done that no water was getting into the house. And they came back the next day and sealed everything, so I know it will be protected from the elements. I'm sorry I gave George my money, and if I can save you the headache, I'll be glad. This was probably the worst home repair experience I have ever had in 30+ years of being a homeowner.
