Excellent service, responsiveness and my windows look great. I've used them for 3-4 years annually and very happy with the results. I like that I get an annual reminder and usually a discount for their services if done within the timeline mentioned. Prices are very reasonable and booking an appointment is stress free. You will be treated like your business matters, something I don't run into much these days. read more

This is a wonderful service! Several days ago I had my windows washed, the flat roofs swept clean, the gutters cleared. All the work was done by one man, Tito, who is a great asset for this company. He has initiative, is hard working, organized, and very pleasant to work with. The price is quite reasonable. This is the second year I've used The Clear Choice, and I'll continue to use them in the future. I recommend them unreservedly. read more

My windows are now covered with small but visible scratches! They say in the contract they have insurance but won't provide you with the information. I tried to work with them but they gave me the runaround for several months. Now we are going to court! read more

I hired A-1 to clean all the windows in my four-story home--inside and out--as well as to take care of the gutters. Because of the height and scope of the job, I wanted to make sure I chose a company that was bonded, insured, and had solid reviews. A-1 checked all those boxes, and I'm very pleased with their work. They arrived right on time and were professional from the start. When they entered the house, they put on booties to protect the floors and worked quietly and efficiently. The results were perfect--crystal-clear windows and spotless gutters. Their pricing was also very reasonable. In fact, I paid less than I did last year with a different company that only did the windows--and A-1 included the gutter cleaning as well! I'll definitely be calling them every year. Highly recommend! read more

I had my windows, inside and out, cleaned as well as the solar panels washed and the gutters cleaned out. Tito and Jefferson worked fast, were very professional and extremely helpful to accommodate our 2 dogs we had to keep moving from room to room to avoid problems (they don't like strangers)! I would highly recommend this company for the efficiency and great work. I sent an email inquiry last week and got scheduled within the week. I'll be calling them again next year for my annual cleaning. read more

I've used A-1 for the past 5-6 years to clean my windows. They do a great job and the windows look so sparkly (until the next rain). Reasonably priced. I will continue to be using their services. read more

They cleaned our gutters in a house in Oakland, CA. The price was fair. Their communication was excellent, especially since coordination between the gutter cleaners, the tenants, and ourselves was needed. They were on time, respectful of the tenants, and respectful of the property. Living far from the job site, it could have been difficult for me to be aware of and address a concern had they decided to do sub-par work. Instead they had the integrity to do superb work. I would recommend them to anyone, and they are on my go-to list of tradespersons. read more

I've been using A1 for probably 10 years and they're always efficient, on time and they do the job well.!

Having worked with various home repair and maintenance companies during the past year and experiencing poor response times and communication, I was floored by the excellent interaction I had with A-1. They responded to my questions within a day via email, suggested options as needed, and had a well-planned approach for the gutter and window cleaning I requested. The workers I dealt with were professional and did an excellent job. They may not be the cheapest cleaning service but are well worth the price. No headaches, quick and efficient. read more

A1 The Clear Choice has cleaned my windows, deck, deck furniture and solar panels for years now. They are prompt, reliable, and do a fantastic job! I usually contact them, they come while I am at work, and I come home to a house with sparkling windows, inside and out. Voila! Their prices are very reasonable as well. Karen A. read more

I hire A-1 annually to clean windows and doors and clear gutters. As a Realtor I recommend them to clients, neighbors and friends. The value for their quality of work is extraordinary. read more

Highly recommend this small company. I just loved the service I received from A-1 The Clear Choice. They fully cleaned my gutters which were full of crap. They told what items were in my gutter and the Alisio said it with a big smile. I will use them for my window cleaning come spring and gutter cleaning come fall. Good priced, they get back to you quickly, they update you if person running late and they do a great job. read more

They clean my windows every year and as usual the windows sparkle after they finished.

Have used this company for about 15 years and they have always done a great job. Have recommended them to many friends over the years! Good value and great job. read more

A1 have been great from the start - really easy to communicate with, fit me in at short notice and the team that came out were just lovely. Ever so sweet, and they did a wonderful job of getting to windows that were a little bit tricky to reach. I would definitely book them again. Such a great team. read more

These guys were great. We used them for gutters and removing moss from roof. They came recommended by a neighbor. I called them after the big storm earlier in October, so they were booked solid (no surprise). So while it took two weeks or so before they could get to us, once they were here they were amazing. They were careful, safe, thorough, and really did a great job. Another neighbor commented how it looks we have a new roof - I couldn't agree more! Really wonderful and very reasonably priced. read more

Thanks loads for wasting my time and making it so late in the season that I'm going to have a hard time finding someone else to do the job. How does this place have 5 stars? See exchange below. Oct 12: submitted a request for an estimate on their website and followed up giving them permission to do an on-site review of my property. Oct 23: Hi, Never heard back from you. Can I get a gutter cleaning estimate for 380 H... Rd , ........? Thanks, Vince Nov 1: Hi Vince, We apologize for the delay. We have had a much higher than usual volume of estimate requests and are working to get to everyone. We will get to yours as soon as possible. Beth B. Nov 6th: Hi Vince, We're sorry, but this job is too difficult for us right now and we will have to pass on bidding on it. Thank you for your interest. Best, Stevenson Too difficult? I have a house with gutters and you list yourself as a gutter cleaning service? Should I call NASA and see if they can help? read more

I love these guys. I'm a real estate agent and have relied on them for years to do the windows for my listings. I use them at my own house for gutter cleaning and windows as well. They are careful with screens, thorough, never leave a mess, show up on time and always do a terrific job. Thank you Stuart. Again! Carolyn Jones The Grubb Co. read more

Based on the other Yelp reviews, I'm not sure what to make of this experience. I've requested a quote via Yelp, email and phone and was told I would hear back right away on all methods. It's been almost 2 weeks and I've heard nothing back. read more

SUPER quick response to my request for an estimate. CLEAR communication regarding our appointment. The window washer was on time, he worked hard and got the job done. Making the appt was super easy. I will call them again. read more

A-1 A Clear Choice did a great job on our windows (inside and out) for a very reasonable price. This was the first time we have had our windows professionally cleaned. My husband said, "Wow! We should do this every year!" The process for getting an estimate was very straightforward. We connected entirely online. They sent out an estimator within a couple of days, and broke down the job with costs for the various options (inside windows, outside windows, skylights etc.) They scheduled our job promptly. The two workers were friendly and fast. The windows look great. read more

I have worked with A-1 for the last 3 years. This year 2 of the units had a few streaks on the windows after they got cleaned the first time A- Clear Choice came out to our property. I ask A-1 to come back to take care of the 3 windows that needed to be re-cleaned. They came and did the work with grace and kindness. I highly recommend A-1. read more

I don't usually give 5 star reviews unless something is perfect, but unlike a lot of home service related companies there is nothing material to complain about. I called to request a quote and they were able to come within a few days. Two days later I received an email quote with an online system to see everything and accept the quote. I opted for the "whenever you can" timeframe and I was called the same day to schedule my gutter cleaning which fell only a few days later despite the rainy weather. I requested a bid for both gutter cleaning and house washing which came in not the lowest, but I had a good feeling so went with the gutter cleaning and will maybe do the house cleaning if I can afford it and doing it myself doesn't clean it well enough. The guy arrived when I wasn't home and worked for about an hour with no need for help from me. He seemed nice when I said hello and washed the gutter goop off my house when he was finished. The only gripe I could have is that both for the estimate and work I asked for a text or call when they were on their way over so I could put my protective bitey dogs away so they could access the back yard easily and neither time did that happen. read more

I never write these reviews, but Felipe did such a fantastic job washing our home windows that I wanted to share. He was punctual, thorough, and so nice. My windows are gleaming! I'll definitely use him again. read more

They did a wonderful job on our windows! It's been about 15 years since we've had them cleaned and wow what difference! Thank you A-1

This is the second time I've used A-1 and I could not be more pleased with their window washing. Our windows look so beautiful and clean and the workers did an incredibly thorough job. Cleaned the window tracks and popped out the screens to clean and dusted them as well! The guys even removed the cobwebs around our front door. Wish I had before and after pictures to show the improvement! The price also cannot be beat! My work-from-home quality of life is much improved! read more

The tech went above and beyond when clearing our storm drains. He identified a piece of downspout that was missing and causing potential issues for a neighbor. After we discussed it he was able to go to the hardware store, buy the replacement piece, and install it the same day! read more

I highly recommend A-1 The Clear Choice. Well worth the money to be able to see clearly out our windows. It really makes a difference in the rooms. Daniel and Felipe did an excellent job of cleaning. They arrived on time and were courteous and friendly. It was also easy to schedule the appt and fast. I wound up purchasing 2 1/2 hours and they did about 3 very large windows, about 9 medium/large size, two small windows and a door. I will hire them again. read more

TL;DR: Missed appointments, double invoices, communication issues, endless waste of time. The technicians who did the job were good though. Allow me to share what I expected from this gutter/window cleaning service: * I provide the job description, they provide a quote * We agree on a date and time * They arrive within the agreed upon window and do the job * The office sends me a description of what has been done (maybe even pictures) and the invoice What happened in reality: * I asked for gutter and skylight cleaning, and they were supposed to do it for $180 * The folks arrived half an hour outside the agreed upon window * I wasn't at home anymore, but called up the office to ask that they make sure to seal the apparent leak in the gutter * I haven't gotten a confirmation of what had been cleaned * When I returned home, the skylights looked dirty, and when it rained, the gutter seemed to leak again * I recorded videos of these issues and sent them to the office, they said their guys would return * Meanwhile, they already billed me for $200 (why not $180? nobody knows) * On the day of the follow-up, nobody showed up * But later they sent me another, separate invoice for $160, that I called out and they said was by mistake * Their guys came back another day and clarified that the gutter is not leaking, it just looks this way when it overflows. And they had already cleaned the skylights, so whatever is dirty is on the inside. Which I can totally believe - if only their office sent a summary of what they'd done on the first visit, they wouldn't have to come back! * Recently I got a reminder that the $160 invoice they said was by mistake is past due, and I had to go through yet another email chain to figure this out. A representative named Ali stubbornly continued claiming that I need to pay for a follow-up visit that never even happened. So I don't know folks, I already spent hours exchanging emails and waiting on follow up visits, this choice is not so Clear to me. read more
