I am very pleased with We Love Washing Windows (such a catchy business name). I live in an apartment complex and I have two huge windows that face the main street. The issue is that my windows were so dirty because of rain over years. Also, I was not able to see through the windows when the sun would shine in. Of course, my landlord doesn't clean windows, so I wanted to find a a good company that is reasonable. They cleaned my windows and took down the screen to wash them as well. I had a LivingSocial deal for $55 to clean 20 panes. Hey, what the heck, I hate cleaning my windows with all the dirt and spiderwebs that are out there. How bad could it be, I can gamble $55 bucks. I redeemed the voucher, which is done through email. The person was very responsive through email and answered all my questions. As a note, 20 panels is NOT 20 windows! Check their diagram if you have questions. 2 guys came to clean the windows, the job took about 30 mins. The screens for my windows are removed from the inside, they were going to do it for me, but I didn't want them coming into the house. So I removed them myself. They wedged them in the frame when they were done so that could pull them in and reinstall them myself. This helped so that I did not have to go around the outside of the house and hand them to someone else to put them in. They did a nice job, they soaped up the windows and then squeegee it clean. They even were able to scrub off some spackle the contractor left splattered on the window. For the screens they soap it up with a soft brush and lightly brush off the suds. They cleaned the sills okay, they were not super clean, but most of the dirt and grim was cleaned off. However, in the corners there was still alot of gunk. If you are really picky, then you should clean it yourself. But for this deal, I thought it was good enough. I don't know what they would do for interior window cleaning, or if they would do the same process of the giant squeegee and buck of water, but for OUTSIDE cleaning it was fine. read more

I love my clean windows! I've been renting my house for over 2 years and have never been cleaned the windows. Let's just say it was about time. These guys were super nice even though I was late to meet them at my house (I totally spaced about the appointment.). They were efficient and quick, but thorough. And my windows are sparkling. Another reviewer mentioned that her or his dogs liked them and that they were a good judge of character; I agree as mine sometimes get a bit "worked up" when people are here to perform a service (e.g. plumbers or whatever). I've rarely seen them more at ease with strangers in and outside the house. (This may seem nutty to non-pet-owners but, trust me, that says a lot!) Time for our yearly window washing service and I decided to try out WLWW based on all the great Yelp reviews. We weren't disappointed! They came over quickly to give an estimate, which was significantly less than we've paid in the past at other companies. Our house is kind of quirky - two stories in the front, three stories in the back, eaves, picture windows, windows with eight separate panes of glass, etc. WLWW did a fantastic job and we will definitely use them again. They did an OK job of cleaning the windows, but not great. The windows themselves are really good, but the screen tracks were still really dirty, and some of the windows still had the remains of mostly-removed cobwebs around the corners of their frames, etc. That on top of the sheer lack of communication is what gets them two stars. It took two emails and two calls to get a quote, and then an appointment was made easily after. We were told they'd email us an invoice on the day after the cleaning which never came; two emails and four calls later over an entire week and we still can't get a copy of the invoice (which we need to give to our landlord). I have to say that while I thought the price was reasonable, I thought they did a very so-so job on cleaning our windows. Admittedly, the windows are a lot cleaner than the one time we attempted to clean them ourselves (having the right equipment helps). That said, they are not amazing. I can see on several windows the streaks and water droplets they didn't bother wiping off and our skylight, in particular, was not well-cleaned. Big boo, guys. They were quick and responsive in getting me a quote (which is why I went with them) but the follow through for setting up the actual appointment was poor - 2 emails and a call on my end to get a date booked. Another boo. I also felt like they were somewhat careless leaving drips on our nice wooden floors and didn't bother leaving our curtains/blinds as they were before I started .I was left adjusting curtains, fixing blinds and reinstalling sheer curtains in one room. Final boo. Again, the windows are cleaner than if we'd spent the time ourselves, but I am uncertain I'd go with these guys again for not having been a little more attentive (Being able to see what's left behind on freshly washed windows is...well, annoying). read more
