I don't write reviews much, if ever. But after a recent experience I had I wanted to look and see if anyone else had a similar experience to me. Unsurprisingly, others have experienced the same thing. I like getting services done here, but the attitude of staff has turned me off completely. The young lady (I believe her name is Leah) who I believe is a receptionist or something has one of the worst attitudes I've ever witness from an employee, especially at a business that claims to give guests a "premium" experience at a premium price! This young lady was not only rude to me, but extremely dismissive. She cared more about getting me out of the way than my guest experience so she could go back to gossiping with the others. My recommendation is to listen to my experience and the experience of others who have left reviews and get rid of some of those bad apples. read more

Only good things to say about my pedicure today. The setting is very nice and I was made to feel comfortable. The chairs are comfortable and they do offer a massage option. Everything was very clean and organized. My technician was great! She was talkative, but not too much. She was very gentle. I mentioned that I had really wanted "gel" (they do not call it that) but the front desk said she didn't have time. She quickly said, no worries I will make it work! That made my day. I typically only get gel on my toes but was willing to settle because my daughter had an appointment at the same time and we were told only one of us could get "gel." She's going on spring break so I wanted her to have that appointment. The only reason for 4 stars is the price. You pay for the quiet, pedicure area spa setting. While it is nice, I would not say it's actually a "spa." read more

I enjoyed the massage service I had recently, and Tiffany was very polite and professional. I will say that the front desk staff was not very personable or welcoming. On my very first visit there, I was greeted with an unsmiling "whats your first name." Not the welcome I would expect at a luxury spa. The facility is large and very clean. Rooms for all kinds of treatments, and a lovely pond view out many of the windows. I enjoyed the beverage selections of coffee or fruity water. I should have listened to a prior review, that said to not go to this place. I called in advance, to let them know the style, color, cut and length of my hair twice, so they could schedule the time accordingly. 30 min into my wait and the stylist Shanna let me know she didnt have time to do the things I needed done. I let her know I had called in advance for this very same reason. She called over the "Mgr" Mady and she didnt care about the issue. She offered no help and when I asked her who own the place, she stated that Eric and Peigi did, but that they would just turn the complaint back over to Mady. They left me sitting forever when I asked to speak to someone and I finally gave up and left. Shanna was extremely rude,, to the point of mocking. She is the stylist who didnt schedule enough time to color my hair. Neither one offered a resolution, and I guess the owner would just turn this back over to them so there is noone to recieve help from. Please listen to me when Isay avoid this place. They are not prepared and in a time where most companies are working towards customer service again, this company could care less. read more

I got a shellac manicure on February 4, 2025, before leaving for Mexico on February 5. Unfortunately, two of my nails pealed off within a week. When I returned from Mexico, I had the polish removed. I've gone from highlights to red hair to facials, and everything has been fantastic. You enter the salon and are greeted by the front desk to check in. I've been to the Soa at River Ridge multiple times now and it is always such a treat! The facility is massive which is a great advantage since they are full service. The smoke space gives them the ability to truly separate departments while still having ample room for relaxing and waiting for your service. They have a variety of products and gifts for purchase so I would allow a bit of extra time to browse. Over my numerous visits, I've received waving, facials, massages, hydrofacials and couples massages. The service, experience and staff are always consistent, exceptionally executed and a true opportunity to unwind. They also offer relaxing shower rooms for those who may need to head off to an event or other activity. The pricing is a bit higher than other places however the overall value and justification for the pricing is definitely there. read more

This was not my first time going to the Spa at River Ridge, but it was my first pedicure. Cassandra was very nice, though not much of a talker (that's ok, neither am I). I was a little self conscious about the appearance of my feet, but Cassandra was completely friendly and professional and put me right at ease. I was also given a 15% off coupon when I came in, simply because it was my first time getting a pedicure there. I went in for a complimentary short haircut for a model appointment. The girl who was doing my hair was completely fine (unfortunately don't recall her name) and seemed excited/open to my ideas. Her boss, however didn't seem to want to do what I wanted and just kept pushing me toward leaving more hair than I wanted. She was also super rough on my head, and I'm not very tender headed but I was shocked, I've never had such an aggressive hair cut. So she did the cut SHE wanted and showed me. It honestly looked like my hair wasn't cut at all and just messily styled, so I asked to proceed with cutting more off the sides, as I originally wanted. I felt like I had to argue to get the hair cut I wanted. Overall the experience was rough, and I left with a haircut I felt was just okay. Granted, this was a complimentary service, but I did leave a generous tip. I also would like to mention the whole place was heavily religious, from the music to the gift shop. I've been going here for about 5 years and had almost every type of massage. The masseuses are great, but the front desk staff leaves something to be desired. Always seems like I'm bothering them when I check in. But I've looked pasted it because it's a short encounter. However, today I received a call asking me if I wanted to come in early and get a more expensive massage. When I declined this upsell and said I was at work the caller hung up on me. I called back, thinking it was a front desk staff who made the call, the manager informed me it was her and that because I said I was at work she "didn't think anything of hanging up on me." And that's it. No apology and truly seemed like this was a normal encounter. The very least a business can do is say "bye" when ending a call or fake an attempt to empathize with a client when they were upset for being hung up on after declining an upsell at a new appointment time. read more

Less than 5 minutes my therapists introduced herself and walked me to the therapy room. I was scheduled for an one hour Swedish massage. I have always loved this place. I have had many massages there, each with a different person who have all been exceptional. I have gone to many different massage places, and this is the only place that has delivered consistently all the time. Today, I also had my first facial, which I also loved. In addition, they are locally owned and truly care about quality. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because a few months ago I had a bad experience when they changed their Covid policies. I thought about writing a review at the time and didn't because every place was struggling. My experience wasn't about the policy itself, but the fact that they were unaccomodating and inconsistent. I had an item I couldn't leave in the car, but they wouldn't let me bring it. I almost canceled the appointment because it was that important that I couldn't leave it there. When someone realized I was going to leave, they said I could put it underneath the staircase because no one would touch that area. I was a little annoyed, but ok, whatever-Covid, right? Well, when I went upstairs, the guest sitting across from me had the EXACT same item as me. The message therapist acknowledged the discrepancy, but nothing was done. The fact that it was 8,9 months into the pandemic, I feel like inconsistent or lack of understanding policies wasn't a good excuse. Long and short, they could have handled the situation better, especially since this specific policy was not a part of local, state, or federal regulations. Truthfully, when I went in today, I still remembered it even though it has been almost a year since that incidence. Obviously, it didn't stop me from going. That being said, now that most stuff is running smoothly again, I am hoping for a continued, consistent, wonderful customer service again. read more

I had a wonderful massage at Spa at River Ridge. It's located in a former office building which allows for lots of space and private rooms. I got a 60 minute deep tissue massage. I have scoliosis which leaves me with some constant lower back/hip pain, and I also love boxing, so my shoulders and arms are also a mess. I definitely needed this :) I thought the pricing was great and I left walking taller and hurting a lot less and smelling great from the lotion! Will happily come back. read more

It was absolutely amazing! I keep my skin well kept through a three-step regimen of cleansing, moisturizing, and toning so getting this service was more about relaxation for me. My esthetician was extremely down to earth and very knowledgeable. I loved how comfortable I felt and how intimate the staff was with customizing my experience. Your entire experience will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend doing an entire spa day and scheduling multiple services such as a hair appointment, facial, and pedicure or manicure. Very please for the first time coming here. I was so thrilled that they were booking massages online when the ban was lifted for Ohio. I booked the soonest I could which was tonight at 7. The minute I walked in they were so pleasant even with all the new precautions they had to place with Covid. I had Tiffany who was my massage therapist for the 90 minute session. She was very professional and she was very kind and fun plus enjoyable to talk to the entire time I was getting the massage. She really worked my muscles and did a fantastic job helping getting the tension and stiffness out of the muscles. I feel so much better and less in pain. I am so appreciative after this lockdown and working as a essential worker it's taken a toll on me physically. So this appointment was a complete treat. Wanted to do something I haven't done in a while for my anniversary. So decided on a massage many places to look at a lot of the businesses were already booked solid. So called a few more places and found a great place the spa at river ridge tucked away in the heart of Dublin you won't stumble across this place. You have to know about to know that it's here beautiful place inside and out greeted very nice got checked in and didn't know where to go, but said we did so we could look around. Offered fruit water while we waited it was very cold and fresh. Many different kinds of fruit in this water. Waited a few extra minutes to get seen but they both did apologize for being late which was nice. Got in gave me some details about what they would do I got the deep tissue massage from Tiffany and my wife had Gary both wonderful people. Talked for a few minutes then they got to work. We did a 45 minute massage. Now I was hoping they didn't notice but I've made a lot of mistakes while I was young and have some scars to prove it but Tiffany noticed them caught her off guard for a moment and asked if they hurt I said no and felt subconscious about my mistakes but Tiffany handled it like a Pro said she didn't mind and I couldn't of been more happy how she handled it. This was my first visit to the Spa at River Ridge. I got a 90-minute massage as well as an express pedicure, both of which were awesome! The Spa is a little more expensive than other places (I'm usually a huge cheapskate), but I think the quality definitely justifies the price. First of all, when I arrived, the woman at the front desk was incredibly attentive and efficient. She checked me in quickly and I was offered a beverage. I filled out the necessary forms for my massage while I waited. Gary met me in the waiting area right on time and took me back to a room where we went over my info. I always think time flies during massages, and this was no different! I would definitely go back to Gary again--he's super nice, professional, focused on customer service, and is clearly knowledgeable and great at what he does. Afterward, he took me to the pedi area where I could pick out polish and wait for my next appointment. Initially, I was wondering what I would need to do (do I go back downstairs to the front desk, do I wait somewhere else?), but the staff anticipates this, asks if you're getting another service, and if you are they take you to where you need to go. Seamless! I got an express pedicure with Jordan, which was also a great experience. Easily one of the best pedicures I've had, and it was the express, so I imagine the ones that include more are even better. Afterward, Jordan took me out to the front desk. I think this is one of the things I really appreciated--there was no question about what to do next, especially as a new customer. My wife and I went here to get a couples massage, and it was fantastic. All of the staff we worked with were very kind, parking was easy, and the facility was nice. What a lovely and relaxing location! There is a nice little pond that draws birds and other wildlife on the back side of the building and plenty of parking in front. Tea, coffee, water, and juices are available as you wait and while you get your work done, with little baskets of Hershey kisses and other goodies around the waiting areas too. I came in as part of a bridal party to get updos for the wedding. It was a nice way to start getting ready, because it was calming and pleasant. We worked with Courtney, Miranda, Amanda, and Alyssa S. Everyone was happy with how their hair turned out. I worked with Amanda for my updo. I am not the type of person to know what I want before I go in, and she was great about asking good questions and making suggestions from there - what does the dress look like, how well does my hair hold curl, what am I comfortable with for volume, etc. She also stopped and showed me progress along the way to make sure I was feeling good about where it was going. It turned out great and held up despite the heat and humidity for an outdoor wedding. We were in and out in the timing promised, which helped keep us on schedule. Great visit! read more

I'm going to preface this by saying it's going to be long. I'm sorry about that but there's alot to review. So, we booked this spa for a ladies spa weekend for a group of 8. I spent several months planning our reservations and services with the hospitality coordinator who was really great throughout the planning process. However, there were a few hiccups during that time. I was very specific that we would be traveling from almost three hours away on the date of our services so we couldn't start anything prior to 10:00 AM. She finalized our itinerary and sure enough, several appointments started earlier than that time. No problem, she got us sorted out okay and we were looking forward to our services and a time of relaxation and rejuvenation - you know, typical spa side effects, right? ;) We had spa-ed at several spas in the Dublin/Columbus area over the past 7 years so we knew what to expect (or at least what we expected from a spa day) and that coupled with what their website promised/showed had us very excited to try out this new-to-us spa! The good: *The various spa employees who performed our services were fantastic! Very personable and very good at what they do. I had the very best facial I've ever received here. Several of the people in our group said the same thing about their services. *The ambiance was very nice. Quiet, clean, and well-kept. *We weren't "upsold" - although the employees did share what they used (in my facial, for example) they didn't push us to purchase said products or additional services. *Complimentary beverages (coffee, tea, water, hot chocolate) and some snack items (candy and cookies on the day we were there). *Shower facilities available as well as private lockers. The bad: *Lackluster customer service. Although the employees performing our services were personable and friendly, the employees working the two front desks clearly didn't want to be bothered. Although we were a large group who had been planning this day in conjunction with the coordinator, we never met her nor were we greeted as such by any of the employees. We paid extra for a private room that was meant to be continuously stocked with fresh water, coffee, and tea. However, upon arrival we had only water and it was never restocked despite the fact that we were present on property for several hours. *We arrived five minutes late and the first appointment was told that because of this, she would have to choose a shorter service but would still be charged for the original (more expensive) service. When questioned, the front desk employee told us that her later appointments couldn't be bothered to wait. Her later appointments were with other people in our group who not only would have been happy to wait an extra five minutes, but were all taken 15-20 minutes late to each of their services despite the original appointment accepting a shorter service. *The "private quiet room" was outfitted with a "boardroom" style table and chairs. Definitely not the type of furniture you want to relax in between spa services. We all expressed our dissatisfaction later at the added expense of reserving the private room. *So, at other spas we've been to where we're having various treatments done we've been given robes/slippers upon arrival. We were very surprised that this is not the case here. Here you undress, receive your treatment, and then redress. It definitely took away from the whole feeling of being pampered that we were hoping for. The bottom line: The Spa at River Ridge was fine. We enjoyed our services. Their customer service wasn't great. The prices were comparable with other spas in the area. Would I say NOT to try them out? Not at all, definitely give them a try! Would they be the first I'd recommend? Probably not. *Please note that this review is representative of not only my opinions but also those of our entire group of 8 women, ages 29-46. read more

I may be the only one, however I had a HORRIBLE experience at the Spa. I went there with 5 other friends for a friend's birthday. We had a private room that was nice and we were able to bring in our own food and drink, which was very nice. When we arrived there were papers at our seats for us to fill out regarding our massages, which we did. When my masseuse came to get me she never asked for my paper that was still at the table when I finished and went back to the room. So, why did I fill it out? My massage was terrible! I scheduled a "full body swedish massage" what did I get? My head, neck and back massaged and oil in my hair. Didn't even feel like I had a massage (and I've had them before when after I've had it I got that aaaah feeling - NOT here!) Then I had a pedicure. the worse ever! When I got home I had to re-do three of my toes. The polish on one toe was so faint on the bottom, she clipped one toenail to a point! An actual POINT! And one toe was cut so deep it was into my nail bed. My toe hurts whenever anything touches it! Thank God its summer and I don't have to wear socks, except to bed so the sheets don't bother it! I will NEVER refer anyone to this spa! I wouldn't even give it a "one star" except I had to pick one! read more
