My second HOME. Close to my first home, very nice people, clean space and smells heavenly. I always let Mrs. Else to do her Magic on my face. Hence, i always leave this place with glowing and healthy skin. She is very gentle and good in massage too. That complimentary coffee or tea at the end of every sesh is a plus for me. I have been getting massages for 30+ years and never experienced a massage like this. Mandy used the absolutely most wonderful pressure throughout, and patiently worked through some very stubborn knots. I feel like I am floating above my body. She is extremely gifted and I look forward to booking another appointment with her! I also had a wonderful facial with Else. She used some techniques I've never experienced before (micro planing, light therapy). My skin feels incredibly soft and looks very fresh and dewy. You're hoping to achieve what Else provided in 1 session, which is the reverse button in time. The ambiance was set to maximum relaxation with a heating bed, dim lighting, and soothing music to drown out any negativity. The first 5min, are identifying any trouble area and solution feedback. I went with the full service. Which include : 2 foam wash, micro abrasion, oxygen & light therapy, hydration mask, ice mask & the biggest bonus ! A lymphatic facial draining & hand massage. ( the facial massage along was worth every penny ) All I can conclude is that : this is the definition of pamper. This is what pamper feels like. This set a new standard to the term self-love & care. I've visited The Spa At Canyon Crest here and there throughout my six-year stay in Riverside and have had a variety of services including massages and facials. I have had appointments with Dawn, Joseph, Else, Maggie, Beth, and Amanda... in no particular order. While I often have preferences when presented options, I am shocked to realize that I am always happy with whoever I end up with. Dawn was the first person I had communicated with, and I have tried waxing and massages with her. She is extremely easy to schedule with, and even if she is not available will always find me someone to work with me. Else and Beth are extremely knowledgeable about facials, and despite always walking in without a plan, they always offer suggestions and know what to do. The facials are very enjoyable, and my skin is always immediately rejuvenated after a visit. My massages with Amanda, Maggie, and Joseph were phenomenal. In particular, I really enjoyed Maggie's Swedish style, as she was not rough but also not soft... just the perfect amount of pressure. I sometimes come in sore, and when Joseph gives me massages, he releases all my tension. One time, I accidentally fell on my neck from exercise and couldn't turn my head comfortably all night. I took his first appointment, and I was able to walk out that same day being able to rotate my neck again with minimal pain. Overall, I found The Spa At Canyon Crest to be an excellent one-stop shop for all my facial and massage needs. There are a few times I didn't leave completely satisfied, but those were not common.
