My husband and I decided to check this spa out since our experience at the nail salon we frequent has started to disappoint (not honoring appointment times, poor quality, etc.) We were pleasantly impressed with this salon. I came in for a removal of my gel x nails. It took about an hour for the removal, my skin was constantly getting sanded off on accident and I was left with the thinnest nails I've ever had. All my nails have uneven dents in them from the heavy sanding. I'm so heartbroken.. left the place crying . My nails have never felt this way after a removal. I've never seen the woman who did my nails before, and I didn't get her name. I will never let her touch my nails again. She was sloppy and injured me a couple of times with the drill. She tried to blame the poor guy doing my pedicure, but it wasn't his fault. All of my nails are shaped differently, and I was left with product all over my skin that I had to scrape off. all these pictures are my hand and picture three it was my nails that I've got done in another place and for my 16th birthday I would like the same exact nails cause I think that it looks nice on me and when I went to the store, I asked if they could do it they said yes and it's gonna cost around 120 bucks and I was fine with that and I asked like how similar it would be. They said about 90% similar than when I was doing it I asked to change the color three times because the color match was really off and then when he was trying to draw the middle finger and picture too, I asked to draw it lower as you can see in the photo it's lower down and not as high up like a French tip, but the guy couldn't speak English at all no one there could help and the guy to start getting frustrated and started screaming at me and said how he had no time and how I changed the colors too many times and the colors I asked to change was already in front of me he didn't have to get up to get the colors I told him to draw the line downwards towards me more down towards the middle of the finger, but he just wouldn't change it and kept on drawing it as a french tip but he just wouldn't change screaming at a 15-year-old is crazy and the fact how he blamed it on me on how I had kept changing the choice on my colors. when I told him to change the design as you can see on both of my hands, they look nothing like the photo in picture. One he kept on saying how he can't do exactly the same, but I know that they told me at the start that they could re-create it around 90% similar, but this is way too off and I tried to tell him, but he would just not listen. At the start when he was removing my nails, I told him that it hurts because the filer was going too fast and my nail was hot. He ignored me. He started applying a gel base for a structure. He did it and forgot to get rid of my dead cuticles at the start and he applied the gels on my cuticles when I ask him questions, he would ignore me. I asked if he's gonna remove my cuticles because I want this nail to last longer, he had ignored me, and then after finishing up with the gel base structure, he was removing my cuticles, but in a really painful way he kept on pressing my cuticles to separate the gel in my cuticles as he applied it on the wrong spot. I told him that it hurts, but he would just ignore me and kept on going. If I could read this place a zero I would definitely rate a zero out of five. I have never had such a worst experience, especially on how important this nail meant to me. Before going to the nail salon, I had searched up on the reviews and the types of nails is done. I have seen them do similar nails, but they did it way more better so I don't get why they just couldn't get this right. also, if he couldn't do it, he could've swapped persons instead of speaking Vietnamese and saying bad words and bad stuff about me as if I couldn't understand if he couldn't do it. He should've just told me at the start and I would've just changed my design, but he told me that he was able to do it and get it almost the same around 90%. I paid 65 bucks on this piece of crap and also wasted three hours. He didn't know how to do nails at all when he was trying to make the flower he's the wrong type of gel and then he got so frustrated that he took around 30 minutes, not even been able to make a finished product of a flower. When he yelled at me, he had also threatened me by asking if I like the white line drawn on my middle finger while holding a nail remover and cleaning up everything saying that he can't do anymore. After starting the conflict, no one even bothered to come and help out or offer help. Everyone just watched, including the owner of this business. I had a such a great experience at this location. They were able to accommodate me on a Sunday, no waiting, staff were so nice and kind. The salon itself is very clean, calm and relaxing. I got a full set with Doan and she did an amazing job with my glazed donut request. Front desk staff also assisted in making sure I got the right chrome to fit the look. honestly, I had a really bad experience. I had an appointment to get a gel pedicure and a acrylic fill. During my acrylic fill she burned me several times with the true and I now have extreme and dents on my fingers that are very sensitive to warm water, I asked about their gel X nails and asked how long they last to which the person doing my nails responded "I don't know how long they last" in a very rude tone. Despite her burning me several times, she kept asking me if I was scared for some reason . She said my hands were slowly being pulled away, which wasn't true I would only jump, and she would burn me, and I would tell her that she was hurting me. when I got my pedicure, the nails looked good. However the price I paid for them should've included a foot massage or something. I asked 4 times for the different packages and she argued with me multiple times over what I wanted which didn't make sense. she rushed my pedicure and did my toes and that was it. She didn't do anything else. Which sucks because I thought I was paying for a full pedicure. It's normally involves some type of mask or a massage. I stated that's what I wanted multiple times and yet I didn't receive it. overall, the customer service was bad, I got burned several times which I will include in the photos. I've been coming here for 3 years now but returning for a new set I noticed changes was told Joanne was on vacation but it appears to be new ownership . I had a full set put on, the nails are SO thick I can't even put on my necklace or hardly button my blouse. The tech used the drill on my cuticles and now they are all dry and peeling back on fingers. Used tweezers to pull a hang nail instead of cutting which caused my nail to bleed all over she then outed pink liquid over and it burned! $35.00 quoted fill appointment turned into a $65.00 fill!! Smfh! Three weeks ago I went here with Doan (because you Yelp people say she's great smh) I asked for a full set Almond shape with a French Tip, nothing out of this world right? Welp she struggled a lot, the shape was all off and she had to redo a couple which she wasn't to happy with I disregarded because she did correct herself as I was paying I asked how much will fill be to come back they told me $35.00 well today I went I asked for the fill and chrome polish again she had a very hard tip with the polish at one point she tried to correct a mistake and filed polish off creating a chip she was annoyed that I told her she needed to correct it. It took over an hour and a half to get my nails done!! Keep in mind NOT a full set a simple fill. At the register the man charged me 65.00 when I asked why he fumbled explaining me his nonsense that was made up he up charged me because she took sooo long and was struggling to complete my fill and color. I will definitely NOT be returning, as two strikes is enough for me to go elsewhere. Good luck people ! Have extra cash because what is quoted will be double at the end of appointment.
