I ordered the Cali Bowl - Miso Salmon (added blackened shrimp) and fries WITH NO SALT as an APPETIZER! My buddy orders wings and a salad. His salad comes out promptly but no fries. The food comes out shortly after and he says the wings are great. Great for him! My fries finally make an appearance and are overly salty. I reminded the waitress they were requested unsalted so she took them back. By the time she'd returned with the new batch of fries, which was quite prompt, I'd mixed the ingredients of my Cali Bowl only to discover that it was lukewarm at best. The fries tasted refried, soaked with grease. The third time was a charm for the fries. I'd mentioned temperature of the bowl and although she'd offer to have it remade, it was quicker to reheat it, thus my request. It came back slightly warmer but not enough to eat. At this point, I was over it and just packed it up to take home. It wasn't the best visit but it definitely wasn't the worst. The croissants are the reason I'm sure I'll be back.

However, the shrimp and salmon were quite bland. Also, they gave me a rice base instead of the quinoa and kale one, and there was barely any of it or the toppings. It was a sad bowl but had a ton of protein and dressing, which made it better. However, my partner liked their salmon wrap (4/5), so maybe the bowls just aren't good. On the way out, I grabbed some of their dark chocolate fudge, which was really good (5/5); it's just dark chocolate chips, peanut butter, and some honey, so it's not too unhealthy. Besides giving me the wrong base, the service was incredibly slow (about 20 minutes or so when we were the only order); they might have had to make the proteins, but that still doesn't explain the entire wait, especially for a fast casual place (2/5). The interior is clean (4/5).

You go down the counter picking the type of rice, protein, and toppings. Despite their pre made bowls, I opted for a custom bowl. Got white rice with double protein of ahi tuna. For toppings, I got cucumbers, pineapples, and jalapeños; all of which were pretty fresh & crisp. The tuna didn't have a watery after taste like you'd get at some other poke places that serve tuna. For seasoning, I got the spicy aioli, but it wasn't as strong as I hoped, but with some sprinkled tempura flakes on top, the gave the overall texture a nice crispy crunch. Glad I tried this place out. Definitely will be back. Service was pretty slow though, so I'd come at off peak hours. Not sure if it's just one person working, but it took a while to get our food with only 2 people ahead.
