Your French Dip with fries is a joke! Obviously you don't know what fries are

Your French Dip with fries is a joke! A crappy serving of meat, no Au Jus sauce and you sent it with Mac salad when we orders fries! I can tell the chili we ordered came strait from a can. Disappointed doesn't describe our dinner tonight! We had dinner from the Can Bar a few days ago and we now regret not ordering from them again. No way could we give your place another chance. A big fail

My only complaint is the security guard. And one in particular. He's got medium length dark hair and always wears a hat. He's super annoying and always comes up to people and just makes the experience a little bit worse. Other than that, I love everything about the place especially the greater at the door. A few weeks ago, my friend and I arrived here at around 1:30AM, a particularly busy hour for this place, which I am aware of. But this time, my friend and I could not even get out of our car before being harassed by men. Through out the night, there was a possible total of 10 minutes where we were left alone. I understand this is not the fault of the club, but it did feel like there could be more protections for women put in place. Then, I went again this past weekend where I had a completely negative experience due to the staff. To enter, there is usually 2 lines, one short and one long. Since my friend and have been coming here for a while, we are usually recognized and allowed into the shorter line. This time, we entered the shorter line like usual which was manned by a bouncer I have met over 10 times but for some reason he never remembers me. He then is telling me I need to pay, by pay, I think he is meaning the entry fee which is usually a reasonable $20. I hand him my phone and he proceeds to venmo himself (personal account) $40 as a line cutting fee. A fee I have never once payed before. I totally understand there being an extra fee to skip the line. What made me upset was the fact I've never paid this before and I have been in that line at least 10 times. Additionally, I did not like that he took my phone from my hand and paid himself the money with out confirming any of the charges with me before. Lastly, it is likely this bouncer could tell that my friends and I had been drinking and he decided to take advantage of us instead of making sure we were clear on what was happening. Overall, I feel pretty taken advantage of and very upset considering I have given this place a lot of my money in the past. The events of this weekend just honestly left me with a sour taste in my mouth and so I felt like I had to say something.

It's one of those Seattle spots I can keep coming back to and still feel like I'm having a proper night out. Catch me here with the girls, a Bellafonte Cocktail in one hand and the hummus plate somewhere within reach. That combination has yet to fail me. The views obviously do a lot of the heavy lifting when you first walk in, but what keeps me coming back is that the experience doesn't stop there. The staff is consistently wonderful, the food and drinks hold their own, and the atmosphere makes it equally easy to stop in for a cocktail or accidentally stay much longer than planned. It's hard to find something everyone agrees on but this place had a little of everything. we got there and they were in that weird in between time from end of lunch/happy hour, so the kitchen was closed. It was about a 30ish min wait but we were determined. It was a fabulously sunny day, people sitting outside so we decided to hang out and have a drink while we waited for the kitchen to open. So glad we stuck around because this place is AMAZING. The corn fritters our wonderful server recommended them and I could kiss him. They were so good. The oak salad was light and fresh, perfect for the day. Burger and fries were super hot and yummy. Lastly, the server was so great with our 2 girls. (Wish I would have gotten his name) He let them sit outside at their own little table and they chatted with the other patrons. (There was a couple with their dog sitting outside). My niece is very sociable and friendly and it was just a great vibe all around. This is a great neighborhood gem. She actually asked to go back this weekend. We will def be back. The burger was juicy and delicious. The salads were excellent. One of the best salads I have had, unique. The marinaded chicken was grilled perfectly. The pickled vegetables were an excellent acid complement for the salad with sesame dressing. Definitely a local favorite. Enjoyed the relaxed vibe of the restaurant. One night, after a dinner nearby, I went here to try the soft serve. It was absolutely phenomenal. The choice of flavors isn't much, but the amount and variety of toppings is awesome. I went with the vanilla and chocolate swirl, with butterscotch hard shell and reese's pieces. Firstly, the texture was so smooth and creamy. It had a great mix of both flavors, and was at the perfect temperature. But the toppings are really what makes this. Hard shell is not something you find often, but being able to break this butterscotch and eat the crunchiness along with the melting ice cream was amazing. The excessive amount of reese's pieces added saltiness and even more texture to the overall thing. It was just wonderful overall. Given that, I was really excited to get the fried chicken sandwich, which I did a week later. Unfortunately, it was really bad. I was just confused at first. How could things have gone so wrong here. I'd heard a lot of good things about the fried chicken sandwich. Yet no amount of online reviews could rescue the reality that was in my hands. The chicken was just awful. There was a ton of breading, practically thicker than the chicken itself. But somehow it just failed to be crunchy - it just felt soggy with every bite. Over-breaded chicken is never a great sign, and the inside was terrible - barely even tasting like chicken. It was super overcooked; no juice at all. The fried chicken piece was also super thin compared to how large the buns were. Just nothing worked on this sandwich at all - including the excessive amount of mayo. It's one of the worst fried chicken sandwiches I've had. Price-wise, the chicken sandwich is actually not too expensive at around $11. The soft serve is about half that, but at a pretty good portion. It's tough for me to come up with an overall rating because the soft serve was so good, followed by a mind-bogglingly bad sandwich. I guess I'd only recommend you come here for dessert. 6.5/10

These are creative and genuinely interesting. They do the standard IPAs and hazies, but i cant really speak to those things... The experimentals show the real thinking. Vibe: Local and quiet. Tucked behind an equally imaginative bakery that feels purpose-built for the space. Not many people show up, which is a feature if you want to explore without noise. What could be better: The low traffic is good or bad depending on what you want. If you're after quiet experimentation, perfect. If you want energy, I don't know.
