I have purchased their dog cakes multiple times for my dog's birthdays. My dogs just LOVE them!! I love this store! The people are nice who work there and they do great cakes. Also have other cool things like treats and toys. I would highly recommend this place!!

Easily my favorite doggo store! The staff is super friendly and they have such cute fun merch for pets. I got the good boy beer for my little fur baby, and another as a gift, along with a ton of training bits. I love that it is right below my building at Amazon, so whenever I'm visiting seattle, I can hop right in and stock up for my doggo. I hope they open one closer to where I live! Don't pass this shop if you have a pupper!!

I can't say enough great things about Seattle Barkery! The staff is fantastic, and the shop is adorable. They put so much love into their dog treats. Thank you for making my dog's barkday extra special. He loved it so much that we had to make sure he didn't eat it all in one sitting!

We have been coming here for years. As a pet sitter and dog owner, this is a hot spot. This company goes above and beyond for it's clients. From the fun events to the cakes, the free treats and the desire to treat every dog as if they are the only dog...they never disappoint. Highly recommend treating your pup(s) to a visit or cake.

Their location in SLU is lovely. Apart from their baked goods, they also sell toys and accessories. We got our pup a pupcake and some other cookies and treats for her birthday and she devoured them. The staff was super friendly and gave her a free treat and a birthday hat when they heard it was her bday. We also went to one of their pop ups and had a great experience there, too. Hopefully by the time our baby turns 2, she'll have enough furry friends to get one of their beautiful birthday cakes

Seattle Barkery Peanut Butter & Bacon cake

Awesome custom dog cakes!! We ordered a peanut butter and bacon cake for Auggie, our daughter's 3 year old Samoyed-Retriever mix (he was a hearing service dog until the pandemic sort of rendered that obsolete) and they delivered in spades. The cake is a double layer cake and you can smell the peanut butter rolling off of it when you pick it up. It's served on a dog frisbee platter and you get to take a candle and party hat when you grab it. Ordering is, pardon the pun, a piece of cake. The photos are a standard order, no special additions. Auggie and the rest of our pack (Ryker, Leo, and Princess) wolfed (pun intended) the cake down. We know it seems extravagant to grab a dog cake but when your dog helps ensure that you hear everything and has weathered a pandemic that has eliminated his job, it seems like a fair deal to celebrate your birthday.

My corgi is SOO happy I live two blocks away from this place. Bought him a big variety of treats for his birthday. I would have ordered their amazing looking cakes but I was kind of planning last minute Going to buy the treat was a pleasure - there was one person working who was very helpful and sweet and helped me choose the favorites. Chance (my corgi) loved the treats so much - maybe a little bit too much because he was about to get aggressive with it

If you're looking for a bday gift for your puppy or any type of treats, this is the place to go! This a cool place to run into interesting treats for your pets. It was my dog's bday and I was able to get their an ice cream and cupcake and she loved it! She was also given a free bday hat which was pretty nice of the employee. The service was pretty nice and they answered any questions we had and she was generous with her help. I enjoyed the ambiance of the store. It had a lot of cute and funny decorations and gave a really pet-inviting setting.

We encountered the Barkery at Marymoor park and the pups loved them! I was so excited to find the brick and mortar location near my husband's office and found the perfect little morsels to celebrate their birthday (pup cakes and little cookie treats). The staff was so friendly and loved the clean, organized interior.

Would recommend ordering from the Seattle Barkery to anyone! I sent some doggo pupcakes to a company in Seattle ( I live in Chicago) and Dawn was a great help in coordinating the order and delivery! They even put the pupcakes on some frisbees instead of a traditional plate! Thanks Dawn and team for the attention to details - it was such a great experience ordering from you!

The treats here are delicious (or so my dog says). We picked up some treats for his birthday, a peanut butter paw, cheese donuts and a cupcake. HE LOVED every single piece and my dog is a super picky eater so it was very impressive. The person working at the counter was super friendly and helpful and my dog seemed to want every treat in the shop :) Parking was easy as there's a loading zone outside the location as well as street parking. If everything is taken, there is also a parking lot that had free parking on Sundays!

Ziggy's new tennis ball and bandana
    Brianna B.

Ziggy and I are in LOVE with this pet store (like a little boutique!). They're constantly getting in new items (which is tough on the wallet sadly haha) but everything is reasonably priced, suuuper cute, and I love picking up the baked goods like doggy cupcakes, pretzels, and cookies, or even chicken hearts, dog ice cream, meaty snacks etc. We picked up a collar decorated with dumplings (cuteness overload), bandanas, cute tennis balls and lots more. Such a fun shop to browse and walk out with great finds (:

    Chloe's 4th birthday cake!!

Couldn't be happier with the end result, my dogs cake was beautiful. Ordered the vegan peanut butter banana two toned scalloped cake & I must say my dog absolutely devoured it. 10/10 recommend ordering a cake or treats from Seattle Barkery for your fur baby :)

Our Cat Died 4 Hours After Grooming…read more I never imagined I would be writing a review like this. Our beloved cat Miso passed away on June 2, only a few hours after being picked up from Seattle Canine Club. I want to share the complete timeline and facts as accurately as possible so other pet owners can make informed decisions. ***Timeline * 1:30 PM - We dropped Miso off for her grooming appointment. * We were told the appointment would take approximately 2 hours and that we would receive a call about 20 minutes before she was ready so we could come pick her up. * 4:08 PM - We finally received a call saying she was already finished and ready for pickup. * Around 4:20 PM - We arrived and immediately noticed something was wrong. Miso was lying on her side inside her carrier. Normally she would be sitting upright or curled up. She appeared extremely lethargic, was breathing rapidly, and was making vocalizations that were very unusual for her. We expressed concern. Manager Kristina told us that cats often react this way because of stress and that she would likely calm down once she got home. We were also told that Miso had: * Drunk water * Eaten treats * Urinated and that these were positive signs. * We returned to our car and took Miso out of the carrier to comfort her. At that point we noticed her nose and mouth appeared purple. We immediately drove her to the nearest veterinarian. * Approximately 4:40 PM - Miso was seen by a veterinarian, received emergency treatment, and was placed in an oxygen chamber. * Around 6:00 PM - Her condition had not improved, and she was transferred to an emergency hospital. * 6:26 PM - She arrived at the ER and was immediately evaluated and treated. The ER diagnosed severe heart failure and pulmonary edema (fluid buildup in the lungs). * 8:45 PM - During a procedure intended to remove fluid and stabilize her breathing, Miso went into cardiac arrest and passed away. ***What We Learned Afterward After Miso's death, we returned to Seattle Canine Club and spoke directly with Manager Kristina and Groomer Angela. They also gave us a tour of the facility. During that conversation we learned: * Miso began panting during the drying portion of her grooming appointment. * Despite the panting, the grooming was completed. * Miso continued panting afterward. * She was given water and treats, but the panting did not resolve. * We were never contacted about these symptoms. * We were only informed after arriving for pickup. We were also told that Miso urinated on the concrete floor. As cat owners, this stood out to us because Miso had never behaved that way before. Having an accident is not the same thing as normal urination. We were left with several unanswered questions: * Why was a freshly groomed cat loose on a concrete floor? * Why was abnormal behavior not communicated to us immediately? * Why were rapid breathing and lethargy not treated as possible medical concerns? ***Facility Concerns During our visit we observed that Seattle Canine Club is also a dog daycare facility. There were dogs throughout the building and barking was clearly audible in all rooms. The grooming area is located directly adjacent to dog daycare areas, and the environment was extremely stimulating and stressful for a cat. Which, ironically, they themselves even published in one of the educational articles on their website. To be clear: We asked both our veterinarian and the ER doctors whether grooming caused Miso's heart disease. Their answer was no. Miso was ultimately diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), an underlying heart condition. However, we also asked whether significant stress can trigger a previously hidden heart condition to decompensate. Their answer was yes. We also asked whether rapid breathing and lethargy constitute a medical emergency. Their answer was also yes. The Most Difficult Part for us is that we may never know exactly what happened between 1:30 PM and 4:20 PM. What I do know is this: When we picked Miso up, she was clearly not acting like herself. She was weak. She was breathing rapidly. She was vocalizing abnormally. And we were told she was probably just stressed. Afterward, Seattle Canine Club initially told us they would cover Miso's veterinary expenses. That offer was withdrawn after I provided all the invoices, and we were informed that they would not be responsible for any medical expenses related to her condition or death. I am not writing this review to attack anyone. I am writing it because these events happened, and other pet owners deserve to know about them. You can decide for yourself whether this is a facility you trust with your beloved companion. As for us, we will always wonder whether things could have turned out differently if we had been notified immediately when the symptoms first appeared. That is a question we will never get answered.

We booked a grooming service and were clear with the front desk about our expectations. We selected a tier 3 shortness level haircut and explicitly requested her entire body to be trimmed -- including her head, face, and a lion-style tail (fluffy end, trimmed shaft). Unfortunately, the results were disappointing. Upon pickup, Pepper shook her body and an excessive amount of loose hair fell off, which indicated she was not brushed thoroughly after the cut. In addition, the specific areas we highlighted were not properly groomed, and the cut across her body is noticeably uneven. I have attached photos for your reference. While I understand this was her first appointment and the groomer was seeing her for the first time, I want to make it clear that Pepper is a very calm and cooperative dog who is easy to groom. There should not have been any behavioral challenges affecting the outcome. Given the quality of the grooming service provided, we do not believe the results reflect the price we paid. We requested a discount or partial refund for the visit, and have not heard from anyone. We followed up two more times and still nothing.
