It was quite a pawsitively delightful experience. I visited this store last week. I wanted to get some gifts for my friends newly adopted furry baby. This store has some wide variety of pet toys. They had interactive puzzles, sturdy chew toys, and wide collection of Christmas themed toys. The quality of these toys seemed pretty good too. The store was very clean and well-organized. The selection of treats is pretty great and the pricing is so reasonable. While I consider them doggy "fine dining", the pricing really wouldn't suggest that. They also go to different locations around the city and I have taken my iggy to visit them multiple times at Dogwood indoor/outdoor dog park, as well as a couple locations the truck has popped up at. I love that there's a bakery for dogs. What a wonderful idea for our furry friends! I get my pups treats from the food truck at Magnuson Park when I take my you test to the dog park there. They have such a broad selection of treats for dogs, and even a couple options for humans! I did get a pupcake for my youngest on his birthday, and it made him explode, so that was unfortunate, he did not feel well, but none of the other treats have ever been an issue for him. He may have just had a sensitive stomach to it, he is an Aussie/Border Collie, so prone to that sort of thing. We will stay away from them for his tender tummy, but all other treats have been a hit and have gone over very well for both the boys. Every time we stop at the food truck, the person working is really nice and let's us have a sample treat for our pup, who of course loves getting a treat down the chute! Oh my goodness. What a cute shop with such yummy deliciousness for your pups! I have been wanting to stop by the Seattle Barkery for so long and when I coincidentally won a gift certificate through an Instagram giveaway near our dog's birthday, I just HAD to go! You can order online on their website to put in a cake order. When you place your order, you can also select which of their locations you want to pick up your order from, so you aren't restricted to one specific shop! There's also a custom box you can type any custom ingredients in your cake if your pup cannot eat a certain ingredient. For example, when I placed the birthday cake order for our dog, he isn't allowed to eat bacon so they were able to substitute out the bacon for bananas! The cake stays fresh in your fridge for 10 day which is great. The cake is a very generous size so your pup may need 10 days to finish it. :) It was very easy from placing the order online to actually picking it up in the store. Your order will be ready for pickup as soon as the shop opens for the day, so you don't have to worry about a specific pick-up time. I will definitely be coming by here more to pick up treats for our pup! read more

We did the treat chute photo shoot and I had a rather simple request. Our dog is good at sticking his head into things so I was simply wondering whether we could place a treat further into the chute, making him stick his head further in to get a cuter shot. The people working the treat chute did not seem to understand this request. They just kept dropping treats down the chute non-stop making them fall on the floor, or placing the treat directly on the outside lip of the chute. We then demonstrated it was possible for a treat to stay rested on the incline by placing a treat further in. It was too far for him to reach so I reiterated my request and wanted to reposition it closer to the opening, but still deeper than they'd been doing it. The employee then -- again -- simply tossed the treat down the chute and made it fall on the floor. In the end he must've eaten such a huge amount of treats total that it wasn't great for his sensitive stomach. We got some cute shots, but I didn't get to try out my very simple idea. I feel the entire design of the system could use an overhaul. The incline doesn't seem to be that useful, so it could just be horizontal to the ground. The chute can also be made much shorter. This would allow the photos to be even closer up instead of at the end of a long tunnel. read more
