Beautiful property with great potential, but a disappointing overall experience. We booked The Seagate for a last-minute spring break trip, largely because of the beach club and oceanfront experience, especially at the $800+ nightly rate. The hotel itself is lovely and much of the staff we encountered were warm and welcoming. However, the beach was a major letdown. There is currently a dredging project underway with a large pipe running across the entire beachfront directly in front of the chairs. From the front row, you cannot see the ocean at all, and guests have to walk over temporary sand bridges to access the water. This had apparently been going on for weeks and was not disclosed at booking. We completely understand that beach projects are outside of the hotel's control, but when the beach is a primary feature of the property, this feels like something guests should be made aware of in advance. I reached out during our stay and never received a follow-up. When I brought it up in person, the only resolution offered was a $40 credit, which felt out of proportion given the nightly rate and impact on the experience. Overall, a beautiful hotel, but the lack of transparency and follow-through was disappointing. Had we known about the beach conditions, we would have chosen a different property.

The Ritz Carlton equivalent of this beautiful area! The diamond in the rough! I came to advocate for my great uncle and I will never stay anywhere else. From the moment I first arrived, Eddie at valet was SO helpful and friendly, and everything about this hotel was perfect!

Amazing amazing hotel, I come here for my birthday and had the best time, from the valet all the way to the cleaning services, it was exceptional. They greeted us with champagne and the room we got had a big tub. They have an excellent restaurant in the lobby as well as a coffee shop. The hotel offer a car to go to near by locations when ever you please (first come first serve).... And the beach club is a 3-4 minute drive with beach beds and a pool. Would definitely go back.

Stay here. Friendly community, awesome staff. Complimentary Valet service to anywhere within 3 miles which is plenty as all the action is blocks away. Pools are beautiful and Paulo is a must experience pool host. Concierges are fantastic at creating that 5 star experience. We loved it, the kids loved it. Thanks.

Spicy margarita at Seagate Beach Club. Perfection!

Another fantastic stay-cation. Super comfortable beds, large room, spotless, big soaking tub. Make sure Christian takes care of you at The Atlantic Grill bar. Great ambassador for the Seagate! Makes killer martinis & White Russians! We love the complimentary shuttle to-from their beach club and the amenities offered there, including beach lounge chairs & towels & drink service. Go for the spicy margarita Eddie brought our bags to the room & greeted us during our stay too. 10 star experience for us!

What is left of it makes for cramped seating unless you are willing to walk, which we did, but had we been with our in-laws it would not have been that easy. Also the stairs and walking path seems as if they are falling apart. Need some remediation and a good paint job. Positives are still showers and restrooms. And easy metered parking right across the street. Very sad to see.

I get that someone needs to be here to open it but this was a disappointment. Once I did find a spot to park, it was a nice walk through the mangroves and along the boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. I found a seat, probably trespassing from one of the communities but the chair was comfy. With my coffee in hand, I was here for over an hour as the Sun slowly came over the horizon. I was undisturbed. Other beachgoers walking back and forth but folks seemed to get my vibe and did not approach. There is a beached sailboat here since December. Maybe it's still here when you visit. It made for some fun photos. There is a bathroom facility and a beach shower and a picnic pavilion. Parking across the street requires feeding a meter. Don't forget that. The beach area is nice but my wife and I prefer to take the weekends to walk and burn off unwanted calories while shopping on Atlantic Ave. Some of the main attractions are the Cornell Art Museum, Pineapple Grove, Old School Square, Roccos Tacos, Farmhouse Kitchen, Delray Marketplace and the newly renovated Sunday Village. Parking is a major concern, but after circling the area there are parking garages, private lots and city managed lots. Beware: You will get a citation if you parallel park in front of the restaurants along Atlantic Ave without paying online. Lots of violation tickets on the windshields of vehicles.

It's got a nice nightlife with plenty of good restaurants, live music and outdoor bars. Atlantic Ave is the main street the stretches from I95 to the beach and it's walkable. Parking can be a problem. There's a free ( before 4) lot at Old School Square and also some street parking by the police station and library. There's pay by the hour lots and all day parking for a fee once you pass Swinton. Pineapple Grove is the arts district with public art and Galleries. Plan an evening at the Arts Garage for some music or comedy. I did notice there are a lot of empty store fronts and in my last visit everything past the railroad tracks closed around 9:30 and that was a Saturday night. Not to worry, there are plenty of good restaurants and a vibrant night life open from Swinton to the railroad tracks.

On my recent visit, there were so many wood storks nesting!! I spotted babies peeking out of nests, along with adults perched on eggs. It felt like stepping into a real-life nature documentary. Beyond the storks, I also saw a marsh rabbit, anhingas, several types of ducks, and even a Great Blue Heron just casually doing its thing. What makes this spot even cooler is that the wetlands are man-made, but they've become a thriving ecosystem--proof that nature finds a way when given the chance. It's free to visit, and there's plenty of parking. Even when it looks full, just be patient--spots open up quickly with people coming and going. The full loop is about ¾ of a mile, with a few covered seating areas along the way if you want to pause and take it all in.
