    That's me!

I love Boynton Beach. If you go early, there is plenty of parking and the beach doesn't get crowded until after lunch. The ocean was beautifully clear and the day was a 10! This is how I began my retirement! The only thing I that could make this beach better is if they had a stand for food and/or drink. Even some vending machines would be nice - - did I miss them?

This place is such a wonderful family friendly beach to go to! Make sure to come early on holidays and weekends during peak season as the parking lot can sometimes get full. The parking lot is not tremendously big but big enough for a small local community! The beach has a small boardwalk and picnic areas through out. The bathrooms are clean there is an outdoor shower for you to rinse off the salt water and sand! There are no restaurants that are immediately accessible to the beach, but I have seen a food truck in the lot and sometimes a food vendor that sells you basic hotdogs, hamburgers and some beverages. There is a parking fee to come to this beach, so make sure you pay at the parking kiosk. Some parking spots have covered parking so your car is not baking hot in the sun! But those are the first spots to get scooped up! Some of the picnic areas even have electrical outlets so that you can charge up your laptop if you wanted to work outside! If you have an EV.... Yes there is even a place to charge your car! There is also a nice playground for the little kids to enjoy The only draw back of this beach is that the beach does not have a deep shoreline. So if the beach is packed you will have to walk a bit to get a vacant spot!

This was my first time at this park. I took my husband, Paul so that we could scout it out to see how handicapped accessible it is. We have a Community event coming up here and we wanted to see if it was easy to park and if there was a ramp. It turns out that we came late afternoon and we got a handicapped parking spot immediately. I used my ParkMobile app to pay for an hour of parking $2.85. Bathrooms were clean. There was a long ramp down to the beach with handrails on both sides. There was also a beach wheelchair available if necessary. There were park benches and a covered area to sit at. The breeze was heavenly. The concession area was closed until further notice. There was an area to wash off sand also. I look forward to returning and bring prepared to sit on the beach and check out the ocean. I did notice lots of beach goers having a lot of fun.

This is the PERFECT beach. -Cheap and plentiful parking -Free to get on the beach. Sure this is everywhere in Florida, but coming from NJ it's a treat every time -A boardwalk with a clean public bathroom -A snack bar with ice cream, cold drinks and a variety of other snacks -A beautiful playground. Perfect if you plan to take your toddler to the beach and then they end up hating the beach, lol -Gorgeous real estate. Take a walk up the beach to oogle over the $50 million dollar mansions -Beautiful landscaping If you are in the area and looking for an A+ beach this is all you need to know. Enjoy!

The biggest issue with this place is the trash. We saw trash up and down the beach where people had left their food bags. There was also a homeless guy sleeping on the park bench. We went there to watch the sunrise. While it was a beautiful sunrise, the beach looked nasty.

This is the jewel of Boynton's public parks. The park features barbecue grills, benches, a concessions building with snacks and beach chairs, restrooms, showers, a volleyball court and a boardwalk that overlooks the beautiful beach. Originally the space of the beach casino that was built in 198 and demolished in 1967, it was approved as the Walter A. Madsen Park in appreciation of former Mayor, Vice-Mayor and City Councilman Walter A. Madsen. It has been updated a number of times since then, including the restoration of the dunes, the build out of the boardwalk. In the mid 1990s, the boardwalk was rebuilt out of recycled plastic and then in 2012, it was improved again with the refurbishment of the restrooms. There is a large paid parking lot, lots of space for sun worship and several nice shady spots for enjoying a view of the beach. It was particularly windy today which was good for the kiteboarders but not so much with all the sand being blown around for me. [Review 14799 overall, 301 of 2021, number 1291 in Florida.]

Tucked in among the million dollar mansions of the Gods is a slice of heaven the city reserved for us mere mortals. Dedicated in 1984, this is Boynton's main beach and it has all of the best South Florida has to offer, perfect for swimmers and sun worshippers. There are two parking levels. A lower lot close to the street and a strip of spaces up the hill closer to the beach. Residents can purchase annual passes. Parking is enforced between 7 AM and 9 PM every day and it can be paid for through the park mobile app for $1.50 an hour. Lifeguards are on duty every day from 9 to 5. This beach is ADA accessible. As I was walking up I saw someone utilizing a beach wheelchair and the life guards have Mobil-mats to provide access to the sand. Other park amenities include the Turtle Cafe concession stand where you can get food as well as beach chair and umbrella rentals, picnic areas and pavilions with grills, a playground, and restrooms. In Match of this year the Army Corps of Engineers finished a restoration project leaving the beach wide and smooth. The sand lost to Hurricane Irma in 2017 was replaced. Also new to the park are FPL solar awnings which provide shade for cars and charging stations for electric cars. Sea turtle nesting season is March 1st to October 31st. There is a really cool statue of a sea turtle named Opus 14, not far from where they nest. If you want to help the sea turtles, aside from taking extra care not to disturb the nests, you can grab a bucket from the station by the restrooms and help keep the beach clean by picking up trash. I love the beaches in Palm Beach County. They are clean, have a ton of amenities, ample parking, and well trained life guards. Bring a picnic and it is a frugal way to entertain a family and enjoy a day out. It is always the perfect time to enjoy the beaches of South Florida.

Chaises, umbrellas, lifeguards & cool breezes. Parking is $1.25 per hour 12 hour max. Snack bar, showers, clean restrooms - just perfect! Nice coming off season when there is plenty of parking, chairs & sunshine. Enjoyed looking at the turtle Ness and seeing the babies working their way down to the ocean. Simon was very accommodating, he checked our beach pass and asked if we needed anything.

The beach is plenty big to spread out and enjoy the sun, surf and sand. The paid entrance at the guard house is gone and a new parking system is in place. There are pay kiosks on the top level of the parking area. The charge is $1.50 per hour. There is also a downloadable app to pay for parking too. The parking rates apply between the hours of 7am to 9pm. The life guards are patrolling from 9am to 4pm. There is a pretty good snack bar with many healthy food and beverage choices. The bathrooms are usually well stocked with toilet paper and soap. There is a beach chair service that charges $15 per hour for two padded lounge chairs with a small table and a big blue umbrella. (They also rent for a full day) I like this beach because it is well maintained and it is safe to spend the day here.

Oceanfront Park is a beautiful destination in Boynton Beach. The beach is outstanding, it's not at all crowded and there was plenty of parking, which was great. Aside from the beach there's a nice promenade where you can grab a bench and check out the waves and there's even a little playground for your little ones to run around in, if they get sick of the sand and waves. I saw in other reviews that there were some food concession stands near the beach, but I didn't see anything open unfortunately. We wound up here by chance! but I'm happy we arrived and got to experience this cool location. Four stars. I hope to be back soon.

I've never ventured into this park simply because it requires a level of commitment I was unable to concede to: it costs $10 flat- cash only!- paid in advance. I used to think this price was outrageous, but I completely did a 360 recently when I met a friend here. The beauty of paying for parking upfront is that we could stay as long as we wanted without ever needing to run back to the meter to add more money; what a relief! At least on the busy winter weekend when we attended, the parking lot was completely filled by late morning. Similar to Lake Worth Beach, there is upper and lower 'level' parking with a small grassy area in between. There are picnic tables, grills, and pavilions scattered throughout the park. This beach has a wheelchair-accessible ramp; if you need to transport your beach items via a rolling cart, this is the place to do it. I appreciated the shady pavilion at the top of the stairs where I could rest my children for a sec. It's SO NICE to have the 'cafe' also here in case you end up staying at the beach for way longer than you expected and need sustenance. You can even 'rent' boogie boards here. The beach and water were awesome! We will definitely be back.

An incredible beautiful beach. Really nice for sunrises and sunsets. Super clean. They also have plenty benches if you just wanted to sit and watch the ocean waves. Also a lot of parking

Very nice park and beach area. You do have to pay $10 to park but it includes all the amenities like grills, beach access, bathrooms, picnic areas, etc. You can also rent umbrellas and lounge chairs but that costs extra. The beach is extremely clean, didn't see any trash at all. It seems very family friendly although there isn't much to do on the boardwalk part, just a small cafe and picnic area. I did really like that there are a lot of shaded areas on the boardwalk above the beach. This is great for people like me who don't like to be in the sun too long and get burned easily! The mansions are gorgeous and you can walk along the shore behind them to get a better view. I also saw some people snorkeling to get nicer shells than those on the beach already. There were lots of small shells but the bigger ones get trapped lower down due to a shelf underwater, at least when I was here which may have been higher tide.

Today, it's a peaceful and well-maintained waterfront spot right at the base of the bridge. The park offers a great mix of amenities, including picnic tables, grills, a playground, a picnic pavilion, a spacious green lawn, and clean restrooms. There's also a seawall and a fishing pier, making it a great place to cast a line or just relax by the water. Directly across the way, Sportsman Park provides even more fishing opportunities. The pavilion can be reserved through the city, but the picnic tables and grills are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is metered unless there's a special event, in which case the city provides a shuttle. Lantana also hosts community events here, including Fourth of July celebrations and a local green market.
