Amazing amazing AMAZING!! We are so happy we chose to visit this hotel in this city for the first time. Everything about our experience was top notch! All the spa services were top of the line and beyond relaxing, Lorainne in the manicure and pedicure department was such a delight. She made me feel right at home. The gym is quaint and has all the basic essentials you need for a quick vacay workout. The resort is Walking minutes from downtown and the beach. The food is beyond exceptional and let's not forget the 24/7 room service!! This is a definite plus when booking our stays due to the fact that many hotels and resorts do no offer this amazing feature anymore. The rooms let's not forget the rooms.... TOP OF THE LINE better than the Ritz Carlton and The Four Seasons. The room is equip with uber luxurious amenities and supplies, all the staff from the valet to the room service are exceptional. I just finished hosting a conference at this hotel and it was a disaster. Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel venue. Although the rooms are lovely and the hotel staff are great the conference manager is terrible. If you are thinking of hosting an event at this venue -- don't!! The event staff promised things that were not delivered. We spent $30,000 and the event manager never checked in on us or apologized for all the things that went wrong. My boyfriend and I just returned from a stay at the Seagate and we had an amazing time!! The location is perfect! It is close enough to the downtown area and just a short walk to their beautiful Beach Club! The service was outstanding. A couple members of the staff stood out and they should be recognized! I have never taken the time to write a review but Christoff went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable! I swear I don't know how this hotel would function without him! He literally works everywhere...If he isn't driving the shuttle he is working at the Beach Club etc.. As soon as we were greeted at the Beach Club daily he was setting up our chairs and having drinks sent over to us. He was extremely accommodating and informative about the area as well! Joey was also wonderful answering all of our questions and getting us around! He was extremely helpful in helping me get some pictures of us when I think my travelling companion had probably had enough with me and taking pictures! lol Those two individuals stood out for us and made our trip even better and I can't thank them enough! The hotel has a great coffee shop on the first level that is perfect for a quick breakfast or a cup of good illy coffee for our morning walk! The rooms are clean and spacious! A few of my friends and I booked this hotel for a girls getaway weekend. The location was perfect -- close to downtown with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. One of the best perks was the free transportation to the beach club and anywhere downtown. The beach club was absolutely beautiful and excellent service on the beach! The lobby of the seagate hotel was gorgeous and the staff was always very pleasant! The spa was fabulous -- we each got Swedish massages and they were a 10 out of a 10! The rooms were decent, although the light switches didn't always function properly and were run down. Additionally, the clicker to the TV was very sticky and there were some random stains on the carpet of the hotel room. The cafe in the building had very bad customer service and the manager was not the friendliest person in the world. She was extremely rude to my friends and me. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for those of you looking for a nice getaway. read more

The massage would have been much better had the masseuse not put scented oil by my face. I wish she would've asked first as i was not there for aroma therapy. The perfume threw me into an allergy attack & made me feel dizzy & nauseous. The facial was relaxing & lovely & i enjoyed it very much. The mani pedis were nice however i expected more of a foot & leg massage & overall experience than i would've gotten at any local nail salon. Not so sure i would go out of my way to go back & definitely for a $450 package! read more

I stayed at this wonderful hotel in September with three girlfriends. We were treated so well by each and every staff member. The rooms were amazing. They have a beach club that is fantastic. The hotel is situated in the center of town so it is close to shops and restaurants. And if it's too far for you walk, Stuart (our favorite driver) will take you wherever you would like to go! We all agreed to make The Seagate our annual girls weekend destination. read more

This hotel was really nice, super luxurious, friendly staff and expensive. We were there on 4/20-4/22 for "bachelorette weekend". When we arrived valet was efficient and the bellman was swift in getting all of our things up to our room (we had a lot of stuff- huge thanks to the blonde bellman with glasses, I think his name was Michael). We had two rooms, one wasn't ready when we checked in but it was shortly after (30-60min later) so it was not a huge issue. What did bug me was that once it was ready we still had to go back down to "check-in" and after checking in and getting the key and coming back up, turns out the key didn't work and this was a drag. We called, they came and opened it for us and since our rooms were adjoining we just kept the shared door open. The rooms were large, the bathrooms were gorgeous, and the beds were comfortable. We had turn-down service only on the first night. I loved this and wish they had done it both nights- they put chocolates and orchids which were a super nice touch, but those orchids happened to be my favorite flower so I did want to see more. Maid service only came to one of the two rooms (strange). When we wanted to go out their cars took us which was pretty nice, just wish they were a bit more efficient on that end. At times we would have to compete because we were a group of 5 even if we called ahead. We visited the spa which was very nice (Carolina gives a fantastic massage), and we went to the beach club. Just FYI if you eat at the beach club you can only pay by charge to your room or membership. It was about a 3 minute drive but out of the way and the pool was packed. This pool seemed really small considering that the beach club has separate membership and is available for use by hotel guests. The pool at the hotel is very small. All in all I think the hotel really hits a lot of the marks but missed a few and for that I gave them 4 stars (issue with key not working, turn down on one night only, no maid service on one of the rooms, and the beach club seemingly out of the way). Not sure if I will return because I am not sold on the value of this hotel. I expected it to be flawless and perfect given their reputation and price, but we did have a pretty nice experience overall. read more

Went to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Great location. We walked to the beach club but there are shuttles running all the time. Room was great. Shower set up is a little strange in that the shower head is in the middle of the tub and the tub is regular size so it felt very odd. Will definitely return. read more

Very nice hotel at the end of Atlantic Avenue. A short, complimentary ride gives you access to a local club where New York transplants can lounge at a private beach. Be mindful that the hotel isn't on the beach as the photos would make out but it's as close as you'll get in this town. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are nice. The spa is overpriced though. There are much more reasonable options in town. House keeping in the hotel is virtually non existent. We had to call down to have our bath cleaned and even then it was just given a cursory wipe down. Be prepared to run out of everything in the room. read more

My family and I recently visited the Seagate Hotel and Spa, stayed seven days, did not want to leave and had an excellent experience! The service and amenities are top notch. We traveled with our daughters and were very pleased with our accommodations and the location. Our room was spacious and the housekeeping was excellent. Being a former food and beverage director and having worked at several high end clubs and resorts it takes a lot to impress me. At every turn we were greeted by professional and courteous staff. Since this was our family vacation, most of our time was spent at the hotel pool where pool attendants, Stephanie and Chandler, took care of our food and beverage needs. They took the time to get to know our family which was important and made all of us feel special, something that was above and beyond their daily responsibilities. We loved having the choice of the hotel pool or opting to take a 5 minute ride on the Seagate Trolley to the private beach club. The salt water pool and access to the private beach was wonderful ... the best of both worlds! The Club staff was friendly and accommodating. We had an opportunity to utilize the amenities to include the Seagate Spa, Jellies Lounge and the Café and experienced the same high level of service and professionalism. The food, whether it was pool side or at the lounge, was amazing! Overall we had an excellent experience and plan to visit again with our daughters. read more

I had the best massage by Jason at this spa - he was really excellent and I would go back again to him specifically for sure. UNFORTUNATELY there was no hot water in the shower - we had mentioned it to the front desk when we had gone to the pool earlier in the day and they said it was being fixed and would be ready in just a bit. A few hours later, when we went back for our massages, we were unable to take a shower after and we mentioned it again to the front desk upon checkout - the person at the front desk (who was different than the previous person we had mentioned this to) was not really that concerned and just 'oh sorry about that' and that was it. After paying for 3 massages, I really expected some sort of compensation if they were at all concerned about our experience there or having us ever come back. Big bummer because the spa is nice and Jason I would recommend to anyone. read more

My husband and I travel to Delray Beach a couple of times a year. The beach is rated as one of the best in the country. The bars and restaurants lining Atlantic Avenue are bustling and delightful. The shops and boutiques are unique and chock full of wonderful designs. The avenue is a great place to stroll or sit and enjoy a beverage or meal while people watching. There are frequent art fairs during the day and the evenings are full of a variety of music. The Seagate is located just two blocks or so from the ocean. It is not a cookie cutter towering high rise hotel, rather a luxury accommodation that features beautiful rooms and suites, an onsite pool and a full spa with an upscale exercise area. The Seagate offers complementary limo service within a 3 mile radius. We often choose to walk to restaurants, so mostly use it to get to and from the exclusive beach club where lounge chairs and umbrellas are provided. We also enjoy the sparkling salt water pool. The restaurant at the beach club is highly recommended for a leisurely lunch. The hotel also has a wonderful restaurant at the main property and the bar, Jellies, offers live entertainment on weekends. There are wonderful shops on the property and a deli that serves delicious coffee, pastries, sandwiches, fruit, desserts and yummy cappuccinos. The staff at the Seagate is exceptional, always welcoming and professional. It is a perfect place for a vacation getaway or business destination. read more

...Such a mixed bag of experiences with staff here! Some really great, some shockingly bad! The hotel itself is lovely, as was our pool view room. Working with manager, Tara, to schedule a vacation during a pandemic was good, and reassuring. Our stay was also pleasant overall, although the front desk staff was never as courteous or welcoming as I expected. But when we accepted Tara's original offer to adjust our trip as needed and cut back from one week to two, problems began. Tara was never available to meet, but I left her a message that we were changing our plans to one week from two. We checked out after one week, left our key at the desk and told the receptionist we were out. Three weeks later my CC bill came in with two weeks of billing! I called. Nope. No one can help. But Tara will be in on Monday and she can. I called Monday. Nope. Tara isn't in, but her co-manager, Samantha will be. Since we were back in Delray Beach, I stopped by...Nope. Samantha won't be in until after 9, but she'll call you. I finally spoke to her and she said she needed to check a few things and call me back. She didn't. So I stopped in later in the morning and she couldn't have handled it more poorly. She never owned or apologized for the $1800 mistake, and in fact said it would take 'hours to verify' that we were telling the truth and she'd 'call me later.' I explained that we need to resolve this so we can get on with our day here. She rudely reiterated it would take hours to 'verify' and said I can 'sit there and wait if I want, but that's how long it will take'. I assured her I would simply file a dispute with my CC company, and t told her the way she was handling it was outrageously rude. Later in the day, after I'd filed the dispute and moved on, she did call to say she'd issued a credit and sent me an email. Nope. No email. I called her AGAIN, and did finally get an email showing a credit...No apology for their mistake though. Samantha and her equally unhelpful and rude receptionist should be fired frankly. No idea what sort of process was used when they were hired, but they're both truly dreadful at their jobs. This experience has completely soured me on ever going to Seagate Hotel or recommending it to anyone again. Really too bad it's so poorly run since it's a lovely hotel. read more

Stayed at the Seagate this past weekend for my daughters weekend with a whole bunch of family from other states! I called to make sure everything was in place for my room and found out I booked the wrong size room! Spoke to Micheal on the phone as the mother of the bride I was a reck lol . He actually calmed me down and redid my room quick and easy ! Answered all my questions and was very professional!!! The hotel is immaculate! Everyone is amazing ! The trolley to the beach club is clean! The beach club was great! We were greeted by a young man named Corey at the valet. He new all the right answers and was very accommodating and professional! He made it a point to explain what the hotel was about and there services while he was bringing our bags up to the room! Definitely a great place to stay!!! read more

We were booked to capture memories for a beautiful couple, Ilana and Jason which took place at The Seagate. Trisha Shaw was the event coordinator and she was just the best person to wok with. She was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. Additionally, The Seagate was beautiful. with the blue and white colors and the beach located right outside, this inside/outside wedding gave the feel as if you were in Key West. After spending 3 Nights at this boutique style hotel, we can not wait to go back! The standards and attention to detail is that of a Four Seasons Hotel! Front desk staff was wonderful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The Spa was the Highlight of my stay, wonderful treatments, products and shopping! Mediocre at best. The rooms are well appointed. Service is dismissive and they misrepresent themselves significantly. They try to hold themselves as a 5 Star resort by piggybacking on other facilities but truly they're not. The pools are small and unattended. The restaurants are unserviced and mediocre. I went up the block for breakfast. Don't expect them to honor any extras like available upgrades or late check out. They didn't! There's a decent Marriott up the Avenue and next to the beach. You would be better off there. read more

Hotel is beautiful right in the middle of town. Room decor is beautiful. I was told it was an interior courtyard room......what they should have said is that it is a room facing the parking garage with cars going in and out all night. We paid a little over $400 with the resort fee included. Tori? At the front desk said it was a great deal. Super disappointed to have spent $400 on a room that basically is 12 feet away and staring at a parking garage. I stay in Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton's and Montages all over the world and I am actually a little stunned. She offered to move me for an additional $75. It's not the money it's the principle. Lesson learned about this hotel for next time. I am so happy i didn't book all five nights here!!!!! When a hotel tells you that it's an interior courtyard room you don't expect a gravel roof top staring into a parking garage. If it would have been represented correctly then I probably wouldn't be upset. read more

I am very disappointed with the customer service at the hotel. As a previous customer I would have expected better service. The hotel has changed its cancellation policy and I would have had to cancel by October 31 for a New Years reservation. They are definitely going to be able to rebook the room as I was shut out last year when I tried to book on the very busy New Years Eve. I asked for a credit to use since they denied my request for a refund and when I asked to speak to a manager after leaving two messages I was told it wouldn't be necessary since they weren't going to honor my request anyway. Very surprised at the lack of flexibility. It's a shame because its a nice place. read more

We just stayed at the Sea Gate Delray Beach from May 4-6.We are a group of 11 woman who take an escape from our daily lives once a year. To make it short , it was one disappointment after another. We were very specific to the suite we required and were confirmed that it wouldn't be a problem. We waited three hours for the special suite for our Majong game and were switched to a suite half the size at the same price!! The doors of the bathrooms were removed!! The front desk staff upon our arrival was very rude!! We all traveled to the Sea gate from Miami and had no choice but to stay. I would definitely not rate this hotel 4 stars!! Two stars maybe.. After checkout every room received extra charges on their credit cards for hundreds of dollars for things they didn't charge!!! We are still waiting to hear back as to why these charges were applied??? I do NOT recommend this hotel... Rude, dishonest and not organized!!! read more
