    Beautiful beach cottage

Supporting your local businesses (especially now,) is super important. Especially when they are as good as this one! The owner Hailey was super accommodating with all of our needs (as well as the rest of the staff.) Our room was clean cozy and bug free! The beach is a 13 min walk, downtown Delray is around the block and Publix grocery store is 5 min walk. I came to take my daughter to college with the University's only a 15 min drive. When Covid is over, I look forward to an actual vacation and would stay here again without thinking twice.

Don't go there. Don't make any reservation there. I made a reservation online on the 8 June 2018 through their website and after making the reservation online at 11PM, I went to the hotel and the office was closed no one was there, also I never received any email from the hotel. After waiting for two hours one of the neighbors came out and he told me that this is not the first time that one of the hotel gustes is left outside waiting for ours. The neighbor told me that the owner of the hotel closed the office very early and that in order to save money he is not hiring an employee to keep the office open at night. I tried to call the office many times but they never answer the phone also the same night I sent several emails to the manager but he never replay. After waiting 3 hours I decided to left the hotel parking lot and stop waiting, I had to go to Boynton Beach and rent another different hotel. The next day I received a phone call from a Lady from the office offer me 50% discount just for that night. Which of course I refused to accept. This is not the way to treat customers. ZERO CUSTOMER CARE ZERO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

We stayed in a King Plus room and it exceeded our expectations. Beautiful vaulted ceilings...modern beach decor and the nicest staff I've encountered in some time. The hotel was within blocks of the beach and a five minute uber to downtown. We will definitely be back!

Cute little place with free parking except the ceiling fan was very dirty! Other than that it was very clean.

As soon as we got off the elevator, the host was there to greet us and help us find our table, which was a nice touch. To the left was this beautiful pool all lit up at night, and to the right it felt like you were walking into a rose garden. There were vines everywhere, cute tables, and so many perfect spots for pictures. It was also great for people watching. Our table had a comfy couch, chairs, and plenty of space to hang out and relax. The service was great the whole night, and having a bar inside made it even better. We ended up staying pretty late because the atmosphere was fun, the entertainment was good, and there was always something going on. Definitely a really fun spot for a night out

I was led up the stairs on arrival to my assigned locker where I had a robe and shoes waiting for me. Inside the locker room was an infrared sauna space. There were showers and bathrooms as well. The spa attendant Irene was such a pleasure. She was so kind and accomodating. She offered me dark chocolate blueberries and almonds while I was waiting. There was tea and water available as well. I waited in the lounge area until Christine came to get me for my icy glow facial. She was fantastic! Loved this facial. My sentiments were the same for my massage by Alex. 10/10 experience for both. The spa fell short due to the fact that pool entry or any other amenities on resort property are NOT included when you're already spending hundreds of dollars for multiple treatments. Hence why I am giving it 4 stars. I loved that when I left, I was given a bag of samples of the items Christine used on my skin during the facial.

I chose this hotel based on recommendations from thoroughbred farm owners I was joining as their guest in the Owners' Box. After flying overnight from Southern California and arriving around 1:00 p.m. on March 24, my check-in experience was smooth and in line with what I'd expect from a resort of Opal's advertised caliber. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. Shortly after checking in, I called valet to arrange pressing for my clothes for Saturday's event. A valet named Adam promptly retrieved my items and assured me they'd be returned by 10:00 a.m. through the hotel's express cleaning service. From that point forward, the experience completely unraveled. When I returned the next morning around 9:00 a.m., no one could tell me where my clothing was. Multiple calls went unanswered, I was even delivered the wrong items, and by 11:00 a.m.--less than an hour before I needed to leave for the Derby--I was told my clothes were likely lost and no manager was available. I had no choice but to rush up Atlantic Avenue to Tommy Bahama, spend over $1,000 on replacement attire, and quickly prepare for my day. Later that afternoon, I spoke with a staff member named Kennedy, who did attempt to help. She later informed me that my clothing had been "found" and, in fact, had never left the property. She offered to comp the dry cleaning and provide a $250 credit for the inconvenience--but given the magnitude of the issue and poor communication, that felt inadequate. When I returned that evening, my clothes still weren't back in my room. Only after another round of calls did the night manager locate them. Even after checkout, my follow-up message to the GM received no acknowledgment. For a brand positioning itself as a luxury resort, the lack of accountability and leadership is astonishing. I'm not seeking compensation--I simply want to ensure others know what to expect. Opal may advertise a resort-level experience, but based on this stay, the Delray property operates more like a budget roadside motel than a high-end coastal destination. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the glaring service and leadership issues.

OMG--I have never seen a room layout like this before, but it was PERFECT! There was so much space for the bathroom and vanity. Then the two large beds and TV. You asl o had a semi wall and a couch and sofa that opened into a bed on the other side along with a TV as well. Everyone was able to spread out and relax when needed. On the rooftop was the pool with a bar and you could order food. Adam, the bartender, was super kind and personable too. He made sure that everyone stayed hydrated. He even made my teen a custom fruity drink with some cherries in it. The pool offered lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The pool was cool and refreshing. You can see the Atlantic Ocean from the pool too so it is great for photos. The lobby has a restaurant and has basic breakfast and dinner items. Nothing worth bragging about. The hotel also offers a market place for little things you might need. There is covered parking which is $27 daily which is not bad at all. Atlantic Ave is 2 blocks from the hotel and we felt 100% comfortable walking back to the hotel at night from Atlantic Ave. too.

I got so much more than I expected from that decision! I prefer boutique/villas like this over chain hotels in smaller towns and absolutely got the relaxing, low key, "no worries" vibe as they have on the gate of the entrance. Just steps away from the downtown strip of Delray Beach, you can easily access the restaurants and shopping if you choose, but you can also get lost in the serenity of their lush tropical courtyard and pool areas, or even the private patio of your own room! I felt like I was in my own little world while there- it was a perfect contrast after driving into Miami! The room was well appointed with comfy furniture, plenty of space without being overwhelming, everything I'd need in the kitchenette, and a spacious bathroom. All had nice updates and thoughtful touches. The snacks and chilled beverages available for purchase, as well as variety of coffee, tea, water, etc that were complimentary was perfect. There was plenty of information about local services and attractions without being gimmicky or touristy as many places where I'm from in Orlando can be. They even provided a sheet with events specific to the timing of my stay, which was a nice touch. The staff was amazing-- so kind and helpful! I asked how it would work if I got in late after the concert since the lobby closes at 9. We were able to do an earlier check in to get the key code and information, parking pass, handle credit card for incidentals, etc on my drive down so I had nothing to worry about when I arrived later. I was able to park and access my room after the concert with ease. I did also appreciate that even though I was staying there alone after dropping my friend off with family nearer to Miami, I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler. There was lighted parking, a code on the gate to enter the property, and a key code for my door to my room. I enjoyed some time at the pool and walking the block to the beach for sunrise during my stay as well! I appreciated the hospitality and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone traveling through the area!
