    Pool and patio area

They say the third time is a charm. After a nerve-wracking debacle trying to find a place to stay for the weekend ( the 1st two places where we had reservations turned out to be a joke). This was a wonderful place, very unique and immaculate. Every amenity you could think of and then some. The owners, who live on the premise, couldn't be more accommodating. The location is ideal and the grounds are beautiful - Mexican hacienda style - and the pool area is so inviting. The rooms are well-appointed and very colorful....The beach, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance. Will definitely return! Thanks Cristie & Marc.

    Disgusting blow dryer

This place is awful!! Gary was awesome.. owners not too nice.. I had a bad fall due to their blow dryer blowing up and smoking .. I'm in a tremendous amount of pain.. broken tailbone! ruined the whole vacation.. and all I got was a chuckle from the owner.. I'm glad she found it amusing.. the iron was also disgusting.. it's their responsibility to make sure everything in room is up too par.. won't let me give no star so have to give one against my better judgment..

Ducked in for a staycation of sorts and it was a fine time, here's why: * Family in other units and they were adjoining * Nice decor * Great location, across the street from the beach * Walking distance to Aruba and other area dining, shopping and entertainment options The place has been made quaint, welcoming, and thematically appropriate because of the attention to detail to the decor highlights (both indoors and out) and it was noticed and appreciated by all. Cabeza OUT!

There are some really nice things about this place. Unfortunately, the bed and shower aren't on that list. Great location, fantastic decor, beautiful pool area, really nice kitchen, etc. But, no matter where you're staying a comfy bed is probably the most important part of the room. A strong shower after a day on the beach comes in second. Blue Seas had neither. If you can sleep just fine on a slab, definitely stay here. You'll love things like a light-up cactus lamp and the price is very competitive for a room with a kitchen.

This place was an absolute gem! The grounds were super interesting, made to put you in the mind of a Mexican hacienda. They were decorated beautifully and so very bright. The pool area was very inviting and I wish we had stayed longer so I could use it. The beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms have kitchenettes. They were very clean. It's not too far from the beach and some really awesome restaurants. They have bicycles you can use too! I loved this place so much and I can't wait to come back here!

great stay ! We are a couple from Milan -Italy . We stayed a week of perfect relax . Cleanliness , courtesy and location ... what else ? Full kitchen , beach towels and chairs , very friendly staff , tv . The wifi works but could be improved . Few steps from a very nice beach and to shops and restaurants ( 15% discount on a restaurant for breakfast or lunch ) .A great choice

When I asked for a rollaway because my bed was so uncomfortable Gary showed me how comfortable it was because it had memory foam....

I can go on a rant about how much I enjoyed my stay! To save the readers time and myself from writing the longest review ever I will just leave highlights. CHECK IN: - I was able to check in before I arrived by downloading the app - picked my own room on the app - key to room was available on app before my arrive - parking $16 per day (make sure to stop by the front desk before parking your car so you can get the key for the garage) ROOM: - King suite city view with balcony 10/10 - everything in the room was spotless clean - cups, plates, soap and sponge provided BAR: - Happy Hour everyday 3pm- 6pm - bar is open til 10pm - kids pizza $10 (I do not recommend) it was worst then cafeteria pizza from elementary - drink of the month $8 on HH .. not bad - BBQ & chicken flatbread $20 .. I'll pass * spent $42 on the bar.. 1 drink, 1 kids drink, flatbread and a kids pizza. Service charge is included. I only went there once during my stay. I definitely would recommend eating/ drinking offsite. POOL: - so fun - lots of kids during the weekend I went which was great for my son - hot tub was not hot.. from what I heard they were waiting on a piece to get it fixed - rack with towels you grab on the way to pool - tables with umbrellas & beach chairs * pool area could have been cleaner. During my 3 days there I only saw the cleaning crew come and clean once at 8:30pm. There was clothes left behind, chairs all out of place. Cups and plates from bar laying around. Was it completely awful? No.. but it would have been nice to not have to look at mess. BREAKFAST: - all 3 days options were the same - someone on the other side of the counter to assist/ monitor you I guess? - waffles, pre made omelette, bread, bagels, oatmeal, yogurts , sausage egg and cheese sandwiches - overall good breakfast for being free * during breakfast crew was cleaning and keeping tables clean. I personally would have preferred not having the person behind the counter. I heard her ask a lady if she had kids in the room (because she was grabbing multiple things) what is the lady just liked to eat? LOBBY AREA: - people mingled around - pool table was a great addition - had 3 different game machines - bikes for rent - lots and lots of sitting area to just hang out and relax - 24 hour coffee and tea area ACROSS FROM HOTEL: - 1 min walk - beach - burgerfi - pizza - ice cream -lucky fish bar/ restaurant - oceanic restaurant * Hotel offers 8AM yoga. Free for hotel guest & $20 for everyone else. It's held on the 6th floor roof top with beach views. Absolutely stunning. During the end of yoga the teacher asked if anyone wanted to leave a donation. From the looks of it almost everyone did :) To end my the long review I said I wouldn't be leaving... I definitely recommend this hotel.

I gotta say, I like this place better before the renovations…read more I don't like the new single pool. I feel like the pool area felt larger with the 2 separate pools and hot tub, and felt like there was more seating. Now, people have to get up at 7am and reserve pool chairs or you won't get one for the day. I do like that they had a fun dj playing music on Saturday and Sunday for a few hours. The pool staff were all very nice and helpful. There are 3 bars I believe. One inside, one by the pool, and one on the beach. They also have jet ski rentals and beach chairs/umbrellas. They give you a complimentary drink ticket per person when checking in which is what they did prior also which is nice but the options are limited. Was a little annoyed because I paid extra for an ocean view room but my room was located on the side of the hotel facing the other tower. Yes, you could see the ocean if you walked up to the window and looked sideways but it wasn't a full front ocean view which is what I was expecting. They should have advertised it as partial ocean view. Just a heads up they also do resort pass here so you'll have extra people at the pool/beach taking up space that are not staying at the hotel, which makes it even more crowded. The only way you can reserve a definite spot is by buying a cabana via ResortPass. Idk, the hotel just didn't feel very upgraded compared to prior, and felt super crowded. Didn't enjoy my experience as much as I have prior. Also, they used to pass out popsicles at the pool and they don't do that anymore :/

Hubby got unexpectedly stuck in Pompano Beach for several weeks while there on business, and they have treated him like family from day 1. He is absolutely not easy to please, but they have surpassed expectation and been absolutely wonderful to him. My boys and I went to visit this last weekend, and every single staff member we passed greeted my husband by name with a giant smile and a pleasantly helpful attitude. I think, besides hiring great people, this boils down to the manager of this hotel, who is stellar. He's got a great demeanor, is extremely knowledgeable about his trade and his hotel, and has trained his staff to a level surpassing much more expensive venues. The building, itself, is showing signs of its age, which is not unusual for a seaside place like this. The doors don't always want to open because they stick, the locks are finicky, at best, floors on some of the hallways have peeling paint here and there, and the bathroom leaked from above ours while we were there this weekend. THIS BEING SAID, however, every time we mentioned an issue, the staff was all over getting them fixed asap. They even went out and bought the hubster a coffee maker for the room when he complained that he didn't have one (evidently they aren't typically provided) AND they gave him a second mini fridge for some special meds he has to keep cold. I mean, who does that these days??? Nobody but them! When you are planning to be in the Ft Lauderdale/Pompano Beach area, try this resort-style waterfront hotel. They'll take good care of you and your family, guaranteed.

We heard about Beachside Village Resort and were lucky enough to secure a 1 bedroom suite. The room was perfect, staff was the best I have ever seen at a resort and they truly thought of every detail here. Everything is super convenient and the location is perfect- walking distance to the main strip. The attention to detail here did not go unnoticed. Kudos to Domenica and her staff! The staff really knows and cares about your stay on a personal level. The wifi worked great here (I was working remote and had no issues). They have free beach chairs and umbrellas, great cabanas with outlets, water and drinks in the lobby, towels, sun protection, bikes, tons of other beach activities, laundry and just anything you could need. We actually decided to extend our trip a couple days because we just did not want to leave. We changed to a 2 bedroom suite and that room was even better! They were so accommodating in extending us last minute. My only complaint which is barely a complaint would have to be the comfort of the pullout couch which we were warned about when booking so it was expected. We made it work but were much more comfortable in our 2 bed suite. Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and I can't recommend it enough. A Budget-Friendly Stay at Ye Olde Hampton Inn!…read more Ah, spring break in Florida--the time of year when hotel prices skyrocket, beaches become obstacle courses of sunburned tourists, and your Uber driver secretly judges your life choices. I usually stay near the beach when visiting family in Pompano, but my wallet gently reminded me that I am, in fact, not a Kardashian. Enter: the Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale/Pompano Beach, where I traded ocean views for a price that didn't require selling a kidney. I'll admit, I braced myself for the worst based on some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean--from the lobby to my room, which in the hotel world is basically the equivalent of winning the lottery. Breakfast seemed to be a hit with the crowd, but I skipped it (let's be honest, free hotel breakfast is a gamble best left to the bold). The pool? Functional, but more "giant bathtub" than "resort oasis." However, it did, in fact, contain water, so points for that. The only curveball was that room refreshes happened every other day. Not a huge deal, but a heads-up at booking would have been nice. I half-expected a scroll of parchment to be handed to me upon check-in, outlining the ancient decree of housekeeping rotation. On the bright side, parking was free and plentiful--a rare Florida miracle. Final verdict? Ye Olde Hampton Inn delivers a solid, budget-friendly experience. Would I stay again? Absolutely--just maybe with some extra towels in tow.
