Spent October 13th and 14th here in October 2025 as our nearby condo was being tented and fumigated for termites. The 1 bedroom unit was immaculate and everything anyone might need was provided. That included a coffeemaker, blender, safe, ironing board, dishwasher, microwave, hair dryer, convertible sofa, TVs in both the living room and bedroom, soft water, a big bathtub with shower, and a great king size mattress in the bedroom. Nice pool and garden like grounds too. The ocean and beach are just out the front gate and across A1A. They even provided beach towels. Three good restaurants only a block away. Secure parking. We could not have been happier! I award an A++ to the management and staff. Room rate was only $120 plus tax. Expect higher in season of course. read more

We had an AMAZING stay at Dover House. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly (especially Lumina and Alexa!) and they are right on top of your needs. Clean towels, beach chairs, salt & pepper, ice... whatever you need delivered right to your door! The location is perfectly situated across A1A from the beach and is walkable to all restaurants and shops. This is not a 5-star resort, (it's old) but it's very well clean and was perfect for what we wanted. It met all of our expectations. We will absolutely stay again. read more

We just the best week . This Is our 4th year coming to this resort and will definitely be back . The units are like one bedroom apartments. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need . We were directly across from the beach and there is a pool on site . Also barbecue s and sitting areas. Local stores are under 3 miles and restaurants are In walking distance. What a great experience! We had the pleasure of staying at The Dover House (Delray Beach). Coming from Pembroke Pines, the drive is only about 45 minutes. The location is across the street from the ocean and a five minute walk to numerous shops and restaurants (I recommend Caffe Luna Rosa)! While the accommodations are very good, I think the service is even better! Check in is super easy and, if you need anything you call the office and a staff member arrives at your door in minutes! The inside of our room was spacious - a separate bedroom, separate bedroom, kitchen, dining room table and sitting area. There is also plenty of parking and the grounds and pool area are well kept! This is the most wonderful place to stay! The service is out of this world! I needed something, anything- they delivered it almost immediately! The rooms are big and clean and each have their own balcony on the second floor or a little private sitting area outside your door. Most rooms have direct views of the ocean and the beach is ACROSS THE STREET! They give you beach chairs! The pool was quiet and beautiful. The property beautifully landscaped! What wonderful people they have working there. They held our luggage and extended our checkout time because of a late flight. The Dover has a sitting area with a fountain and comfy outdoor seating with little decorative pools dotted over this fabulous courtyard. Walking distance to many restaurants and a quick walk to the beach. Great affordability and none of that pretentiousness of the over priced "glam" hotels. Will return without a doubt. read more

I've stayed here twice, including this past 4th of July. Rooms are clean and modern looking. Customer service is as good as in any 5 star hotels. Plenty of parking space. Very clean pool. The location is amazing, right next to all the good stuff on Atlantic Ave. read more

We live in Orlando Florida and we have stayed here a number of times now through our timeshare trade and if it is just a couple and you want sun and warm and a beach that is spectacular then this is your place. They have remodeled the rooms and the only negative I can think of is the water pressure of the shower and just how to turn on the shower the few times we have been there :-) created amazing memories and love this place. read more

PROS: Well managed, clean, great system For picking up your used towels and emptying trash without being disturbed. Close to beach, efficiency with kitchen . We stayed 10 days. CONS: bring a nonstick pan ( theirs are bad), not a lot of storage , we had to ask for hangers as there were none ! We changed to this location to be closer to our friends. The location is great. Beautiful views, nice breeze, clean unit. The condos are converted hotel rooms and a lot of the original hotel layout and fixtures remained. Each unit is different so our unit may have been significantly different from other units. It was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Pros- location, great AC, kitchenette, well stocked, fluffy towels, no carpet, parking, comfy bed. Cons-old jetted tub, few electrical outlets, peeling paint, broken ice maker in common area. We were visiting for a special event so prices were $350 a night and up. I'm not sure I'd pay that much to stay here again. read more

Well....where should I start? We picked this place using our time share. If you love beach, you will love this location. You are right across the street from the beach. However I wouldn't want to have a room on the first floor because people would walk right in front of you and not consider people who would sit in front of their rooms. Unfortunatly there were no fencing to separate each room. Staff was pleasant and helpful. There were several things of concern I had while staying here. #1. Pool had broken tiles and there was a hole at the bottom of the pool that my husband almost twisted his ankle. #2. Bathroom ventilation was filled with lint which can be a fire hazard. #3. Please please please upgrade your mattresses!!! #4. Kitchen countertops need some upgrades as well. #5. There were small freezer and refrigerator. At some point refrigerator became a freezer and froze my medication and some produce. #6. Please full size ironing board would be greatly appreciated. Location is great but rooms need some upgrades. Also since everywhere signs "green hotel" get some solar panels. read more

I enjoyed my stay here. Great location, right across the street from the beach so you can pop over for a minute or two even if you don't have a lot of time. It was definitely more of an apartment feel than a hotel, but that's why we liked it. It was nice to have the ability to cook some breakfast for ourselves before the beach in the morning. Only downside, not a whole lot of kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, tongs, spatula) to name a few.. but if you don't plan to cook a huge meal it should be sufficient. It's definitely a more old school decor inside but kitschy, and charming to say the least. Price point is also really fair. I will stay here again when I am visiting family! read more

We stayed here through our timeshare trade in program. We used 2 years worth of points to stay one week (little much). It was right across from the beach so we figured it was worth it. Plus, the pictures looked nice. We checked in and were given a packet of information along with our parking pass and keys. They don't offer maid service during your stay but that was fine. Our room was in the building across the street on the bottom floor, end unit. The room was clean and smelled fresh. Plenty of natural light since we had more windows being the end unit. Upon further inspection you could see the unit could use a little TLC. During our week stay we did encounter 3 cockroaches (yuck). The bed was also terribly uncomfortable. In addition out of the 5 big windows in the living area only one opened. It was nice being right across from the beach but compared to other timeshares we have stayed at this one was lacking. When you check in they give you a list of items that must be done when you check out or you will be charged. I've never heard of this. You must strip the bed and put all the sheets and dirty towels in a big laundry bag. In addition you must load the dishwasher and start it and dump all of the trash cans in the unit and take the trash to the bin across the street. Considering they don't offer maid service during your stay it would have been nice for them to at least do the above for you when you check out. On top of everything they give you an envelope inside your check in envelope for you to tip the maid. The maid who I never saw during my entire stay and whose job I did most of when I checked out. This was our second stay at this resort through RCI. First time was over the 4th of July and we had loads of friends visiting during the week so never noticed the minuses. Plus: White Sandy Beach proximity is the best feature. Gardens and lawns are nice. Restaurants and Shopping walking distance. Minus: Lame continental breakfast of day old muffins and pastries, blech coffee, and no fruit or OJ set up in the 2x6 space in the office is the only thing they do for any social activity for guests to meet one another. No recreational amenities - bikes, outdoor games. SUPER Minus: they don't know how to take care of their pool so it gets closed for 5 days because of BLACK Algae and they have no sense of desire to try to make other accommodations for their guests to use a neighboring condo's pool, to give some "sorry for the inconvenience" present, NADA. Not even the courtesy of feeling sorry about it. Best they can do is call RCI and see if they will switch resorts. So if all you want is the beach, it is great for that.... but don't count on anything else other than that. Probably good to think twice before staying at another resort managed by LANDEX Hotel Corporation. read more

Loved it! Great location and price for the week was amazing after booking through Sapphire Resorts. Dover House is located within a minute of the beach and minutes away from great food. Nestled so close to downtown and a very clean space. Only recommendations would be a mattress topper as I found the beds to be uncomfortable and an updated AC unit (it was a bit loud). Other than those things, I enjoyed my stay there. I highly recommend the Dover House and would go back again. read more

We stayed here using RCI Points: Dover House offers excellent value for points required. Our 1 bed apartment was perfect for our 3 week stay - decent sized living room with sofa, 1 armchair and a dining table that could seat 4. The room has recently been refurbished with marble worktop in kitchen and good spray tap. We wondered why we had 2 fridges until we filled them! The bathroom had been renewed too with new ceramic ware and a spa bath - unfortunately not yet connected but the shower was good and one could have a normal bath. All the towels are new too and very soft. The bedroom had a king sized double bed an, while the mattress was softer than our usual taste, here were ample pillows and linen. Communal facilities consist laundry, barbecue area and pool. The whole place was nice and quiet (I don't know what it's like during school vacations) and the staff very conscientious. We shall return - providing the exchange rate does not continue on its current path. read more

We did a 4 night long weekend stay at Dover House condos. I'm a former local & easy access to Atlantic Ave is key. This location puts you directly across from the beach with free self-parking. SO MUCH EASIER than dealing with the valet at the hotels. You are just south of Boston's On The Beach restaurant, perfect access to anything you want to walk to on Atlantic by foot or car. Our condo was cute, perfectly clean & it was so nice have a fridge and kitchen for beach and pool snacks. Pool is small but chairs are big comfy loungers and hotel provides clean pool towels. Staff is very friendly & helpful- special thank you to Heidi for giving us a late checkout so we could enjoy the pool a bit longer before we headed down to the airport. I will absolutely be making this my #1 hotel pick for my Delray vacations. read more
