We took our motorcycle to this shop for diagnosis of a warranty-related concern. We did not take it there and tell them to repair whatever they wanted and send us a bill afterward. At no point were we provided a quote for repairs before the work was completed. At no point were we contacted and asked to approve over $1,000 in repairs. At no point did we authorize the labor or parts that were installed. Instead, we were informed the bike was finished and then provided what was labeled as an "estimate" after the repairs had already been completed. An estimate is supposed to help a customer decide whether they want the work performed. It's hard to make that decision when the work has already been done. What makes this even more concerning is that the owner later admitted he could not produce any signed authorization approving the repairs. No signed repair authorization. No signed estimate approval. No email approval. No text approval. Nothing. The owner also stated in writing that it was his decision that the issue was not a warranty concern. Rather than contacting the warranty company before repairs were performed, he made that determination himself and completed the work first. Think about that for a second. The shop found time to diagnose the bike. The shop found time to perform the repairs. The shop found time to install parts. The shop found time to create an invoice. The shop found time to decide the failure wasn't warranty related. But somehow there was never time to call the customer and obtain approval before moving forward. Throughout this process, getting answers and documentation was a battle. We repeatedly requested paperwork and records. We were given changing explanations, references to documents that could not be produced, and excuses instead of clear proof that the repairs had actually been authorized. As business owners ourselves, we understand mistakes happen. What we don't understand is how a shop can complete repairs, present a four-figure bill, and then be unable to provide documentation showing the customer approved the work. If you choose to do business here, protect yourself. Get copies of everything. Get every estimate in writing. Get every authorization in writing. Do not assume you will be contacted before work is performed. We certainly wish we had. For those asking what the issue was... Went in for not starting until warm, they found some valves had no clearance and fixed them without letting us know until after it was all said and done, stated it was over 8.5 hours of work. On their website which anyone can view, a customer only authorizes 1.5 hours of diagnostic work, to which then the customer is to be contacted if they need to go further to get authorization from the customer. None of that was done.

Then doing absolutely nothing to fix their mistake. My family has completed three transactions with this dealership, including the lease buyout of our vehicle on December 31, 2025. During the lease buyout, we were advised to keep our existing plates and were asked to pay our 2026 vehicle taxes, which we did. Several months later, we received new plates and a second 2026 tax bill for the same vehicle. Despite numerous calls and follow-ups, we've told that they will handle it. The issue remains unresolved. What has been most disappointing is the lack of communication and follow-through after the sale. We paid dealership fees expecting the registration and title work to be handled correctly, and we should not be responsible for paying taxes twice due their administrative error. I would not use this mechanic again. I originally used a mobile mechanic thinking I could save some…read moremoney, but after this experience I would rather spend the extra money and take my car to an established shop. I paid him $150 to install a replacement throttle body on my 2009 Dodge Caliber on June 11th. After the installation, my car was fluttering while idling and continued doing that until June 17th, when the car shut off. I couldn't even drive it one mile. Around that time, while I was already dealing with the problems with my car, he started making advances toward me. He asked me if I wanted a "sugar daddy," repeatedly told me I was a "good woman," and during a test drive asked me if I wanted to spend more time with him. He also talked to me about having a wife and twin children, which made the advances even more inappropriate to me. I turned him down. I asked him how he relearned the throttle body with the computer and didn't get an answer. Before he came back to work on my car again, I specifically asked him to bring the computer/programmer, and he said okay. When he came back, I asked about it and that was when he told me he didn't have the equipment and said it cost around $5,000. I would have liked to know that before paying him to install the throttle body. I also paid him another $125 to install an IMRC actuator. The next day my car was scanned again and P2004, Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Open, was still showing. I later asked him to make sure the actuator he installed was working before I bought more parts, but I never received confirmation that it was. My issue is twofold. I had problems with the work I paid for, and at the same time I was dealing with unwanted advances from the person I hired to work on my car. I can't say whether my turning him down had anything to do with what happened afterward, but given the timing, it is something I have questioned. Before I pay anyone for a service, I always look at the reviews first. That's one of the reasons I'm leaving this review. Other customers, especially women, should know about the experience I had before deciding whether to hire him. After everything that happened, I question whether he is selective about who he behaves this way toward. For women especially, I would think twice about using a mobile mechanic just to save money. If you do decide to use one, use a credit card or another payment method that gives you clear purchase protection and a way to dispute the charge if something goes wrong. Women should be able to hire someone to work on their vehicle without having to deal with unwanted advances while trying to conduct business. Based on my experience, I would rather spend the extra money and go to an established repair shop where there is more accountability and professionalism.
