Jay's Pizza and Ice Cream, based on initial impressions, seems to be a no-frills, pizza, subs, and…read moresalad place. This sort of corner establishment seems ubiquitous in New England. They offer counter service and a paltry few seats for dine in (maybe 3 bar stools at another counter and 2 small tables with 2-3 chairs). The establishment has clearly optimized for to-go orders. The establishment's name belies its menu of momos (dumplings) and small selection of Himalayan-Nepalese-IndoChinese fare. I went specifically for the momos, priced at $13.99-$14.99 for 10 pcs. Pricing varies based on filling (vegetable, chicken, pork, or beef) and preparation style (steamed, fried, in soup, or with chili). The portions, both size and pricewise, seemed similar to those at restaurants. The momos themselves came with regular orange chutney and a spicier chutney. Overall, the momos seems reasonable. I do wish the filling had more aromatics; the absence of cumin made the steamed ones indistinguishable from other East Asian dumplings. I also tried the fried ones out of curiosity. They came deep fried rather than the pan fried style of potstickers / gyoza. I'm biased towards steamed dumplings, but I'm glad I tried these out regardless.

Anyway, I ordered it with just lettuce, dressing chicken and croutons. This is what I got. An oily pocket of chicken with no more than 7 pieces of lettuce and no Caesar dressing. Seriously yall? For $13????

**Alegria Bowls - A Burst of Happiness in Every Bite!**…read more I used to walk by Alegria Bowls on Main Street and always wondered what the hype was about... and now, the only thing I regret is not going in sooner! "Alegria" means happiness in Portuguese, and let me tell you, that's exactly what this place delivers. Their specialty? **Acai Bowls** - straight from Brazil, these delicious bowls are packed with fresh ingredients, and you get to customize them exactly how you like! From acai to milkshakes and ice cream, everything is made fresh, and you can even add fun Brazilian treats like **Serenata de Amor** chocolate (a delightful caramel chocolate that adds the perfect touch to their ice cream ). I tried the **strawberry milkshake**, and it was absolutely *delicious* - super fresh, creamy, and worth every sip. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but the quality and freshness of the ingredients make it totally worth it, in my opinion. **Food**: 9/10 **Pricing**: 6/10 (a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for!) **Ambiance**: 7/10 (fun, welcoming vibes with a bubbly font that adds to the charm) If you're craving something fresh, healthy, and oh-so-yummy, do yourself a favor and stop by Alegria Bowls! You won't regret it.

While there are a ton of pre-made options, I was looking for a more simple bowl so opted to make my own. I got a bowl with strawberries, bananas, kiwi, and mango, and you could tell all the fruit was actually fresh. I also put granola and peanut butter in my bowl. Unlike most places, the peanut butter was drizzled on the top which was a nice surprise. My only suggestion would be to have an option of how much you want drizzled on top since it was a little heavy for my own preference (still delicious). The staff was friendly and even delivered your meal to your table. While there arent a ton of seats inside, we had no issues finding a place to sit, even with another family there. I would come back here and be open to trying other items on the menu as well.
