This place is horrible. I went there at 8 o'clock at night and got the chocolate soft serve in a cup it was more like soup in the cup by the time we got it it was already melting all over our hands and when we got in the car and it's a five minute drive home it's all over my leg all over my arms, they can't even give us napkins or a lead a bigger cup not have a melt all over us. What kind of ice cream machine do they have back there? If I'm paying for this you should at least you know make sure it's not soup. read more

This is a cute local spot. I was hiking nearby and was searching for ice cream places that had cookie dough (the craving was real). They have a good-sized parking lot which I appreciate. I grabbed a kid sized cup of vanilla with cookie dough - it was $5.87 with the tip. The girl at the counter was super nice and we chatted for a bit. I will say if anyone sees this in March - they have a lucky charms ice cream that's a cereal base for St. Patty's. I'm going to come back and try it because that sounded really good. read more

Very nice place. I wish I had gotten the name of the girl who served us, she was very pleasant. If it helps we were there today, Thursday afternoon around 1pm. I'm going to say I really want to give this place five stars. First of all, it's a super location. It has a really cute parking lot with the cute little vibe of the lights and all the tables. I got a coffee frappe because I'm more of a drinker of ice cream that I am an eater. The frappe was delicious but I was pretty full. It was a coffee one. Greatest ice cream parlor that exists. Everything about it is perfect. The raspberry cheesecake and new purple cow are my faves but coffee Oreo is my go to. Socs knows how to do soft serve! The soft serve here is pretty darn good. It's creamy and smooth and thick. The line gets pretty long and parking can be dicey when there's a big rush, but they move the line along pretty quickly. Bonus: They accept credit cards! Most little ice cream places don't, so I appreciate that Socs is keeping up with the times. I am VERY grateful of the owner's decision to do mosquito spraying in the spring and summer. They have a sign up that they do it, and it really makes a huge difference. I was able to comfortably enjoy my ice cream at dusk, prime mosquito time.
