I had ice cream at THREE top-ranked local ice cream places in the past week. Scoops N More was the best AND the least expensive. The girls behind the counter were so helpful and friendly to me and my family. They had a line out the door and I totally get why. This hole in the wall store is actually an amazing ice cream joint. I used to not like this place because sometimes I'd run into the typical teenager who was working just for the paycheck. The other day I came in because I was desperately craving something cool and refreshing. The girl offered us a taste of a new flavor they had. She wasn't pushy at all, and didn't seem to mind that we took the free flavor and ordered different flavors instead. I grabbed a chocolate frappe (extra thick) and my bf grabbed a coffee frappe. I LOVED mine. It was smooth, not too chocolatey, and hit the spot. My boyfriend wished his tasted more like coffee but trust me, any more coffee and it might spoil it. The girl was super friendly afterwards too which is why I won't avoid this place anymore. I also love that this place is down the street from me! read more

OK, this place has awesome ice cream. I mean it's really good and really worth the trip. So why only 4 stars and not 5? The service. Every time I go to Scoops N More the people/person working there is in a bad mood or borderline rude. The last time I went there I went with friends from out of town. I wanted to impress them. And in the car ride home the conversation centered around how crabby the person who served us was. "It was as if we were bothering her." Said one friend. To Scoops N More management: Your customers are everything to the success of your business! Your employees need to be pleasant and engage your customers in a positive way. Your product and location are great but the "experience as a whole" is soured by very poor customer service. You should be thrilled that you have such a great ice cream place. There's no real reason to be anything but happy. read more

I can't believe that I've lived in Peabody for years and just found this place. Amazing homemade ice cream. Both the cookie dough and coffee Oreo were awesome. Small size was plenty. Also, they have a "doggie ice cream" (a little serving of vanilla soft serve topped with Milk-Bone treats) for only $1.75. My dog immediately devoured most of it and looked about as happy as I've ever seen him. He was whimpering with excitement on the car ride home waiting to finish the last bit of it. This will probably become a weekly stop all summer. I may never go to Richardson's or Treadwell's again. read more

Very good ice cream, soft serve, and frozen yogurt with MANY options! The soft serve and hard serve is incredible, the best I've ever had. Whenever I go somewhere else, I always compare their ice cream to that of Scoops N More. A big part of the community, if you are close, I would definitely recommend stopping in. This place definitely flies under the radar...it's very tiny with no space inside to eat but the ice cream was delicious! The owner was serving and she was super friendly, and very generous with her servings as well. We both LOVED her home made strawberry chip ice cream. She is closing before thanksgiving for the season but we will definitely come back when she reopens in mid-march. :) read more

Epic customer service failure! After just purchasing $55 dollars of items from their takeout freezer, an employee (owner? or manager?) coming back into the store as I was walking out said "Did you pay for all those?" I can think of many other more gracious words which should come out of the mouth of an independent ice cream shop employee's mouth. A lot of items will need to freeze over before I step back into this shop. I will however share this experience with friends and family in the area, and make future purchases at another shop. Tried scoops again, they had the soft serve machine working but when after the worker only filled the sides if the cup and the top. She left the middle empty. No ice cream! I will not give them my business again. read more

You can't beat ice cream from Scoops m More. This place is a must go if you have an ice cream craving. You receive very friendly service from a small family owned establishment .The have a great variety of flavors and sundae combos, and they're not scared to pile it on. All their ice cream is home made. You definitely get your money's worth here. I get a half gallon of chic chip that is to die for. It is loaded with chic chips. The best I ever had. I am a huge fan of homemade ice cream. I do not like when ice cream shops sell another places ice cream (ie: shops selling Richardson's). I found Scoops N More on yelp and decided to give it a try. I got coffee oreo with a sugar cone and chocolate jimmies .... my goto flavor wherever I go. It was delicious....and loaded with oreos. The portion was good and so was the customer service. The only thing is they do not have places to sit and eat, it is more of a take out type place. Will go back if I am in the area. read more

My FAVORITE ice cream place. When I was pregnant with my son, I drove 15+ minutes there every other day (Twist soft serve in a cake cone with rainbow sprinkles). I am a self-proclaimed soft serve connoisseur and trust me they have the best soft serve I've ever had. The rainbow sprinkles are amazing, the prices are extremely reasonable and the staff are great. My mom is my partner in crime because she's convinced they have the best chocolate chip ice cream in the world.
