We went for lunch and we were pretty impressed! They have great reviews on websites, but so many places that don't deserve it do. This place deserves it. First of all, they have a salsa bar. It's great and had about a dozen choices. If you can't find one you like it's your own fault! I ordered from the Lunch Special menu and got the chicken chimichanga with rice and beans. It was delicious and way bigger than I thought it would be. I couldn't finish it and I'm quite a hearty eater! My husband got the steak Nachos Fajita Papas (full order) and he raved about how great is was. He suggested it had crack in it because even after he was totally full, he couldn't stop eating it! The atmosphere is very nice; nicer than most places in the area. Clean and tastefully decorated. The service was good. Our glasses were never empty and our server checked on us often enough. Oh! And the price? Mine was $5 and my hubs was $9! We spend more at fast food places! It's a hard little place to find, tucked away in a strip mall behind a Hardee's, but they had a good amount of customers so the word is out. Go ahead and try this place and you will be thrilled with their food.

I stopped by on a weekday for lunch because they were nearby and I was not disappointed! They weren't too crowded at the time- and they've got both booth and table seating available and I was seated right away. When you sit down, they bring out tortilla chips and a black bean dip. Both very good, but then I was informed about their salsa bar. They've got 15 different salsas to choose from, 3 of which had very good heat that I enjoyed. I ordered the Vegetarian Enchiladas which come with a spicy hot sauce on them, and I asked for some jalapenos for extra heat. They didn't come with any sides but there were 6 of them, and they left me very full with leftovers to take home as well. They were also flavorful and delicious, and filled with white cheese(s). The prices are incredible too! I ate lunch for under $8 after taxes and I left full and happy as well. My waitress didn't come by very often but I didn't really mind because I was happy being left alone with my great food!

My spouse and I along with my father ate at Brumley's for the holiday buffet. I was a bit disappointed about certain parts of the food and seating arrangements. First of all I was hoping to sit in one of the well styled dining rooms instead of being seated at a folding table with folding chairs chair in the hallway. The buffet consisted of raw trout, shrimp, seafood chowder that was too creamy for me to eat, salad table with lots of fixings, prime rib, roast beef, chicken cordon blue, sides included Mac and cheese, roasted potatoes, broccoli, and collared greens. They had rolls and butter. The dessert table had chocolate and red velvet cake slices along with frosted cookies. My chicken was very dry. I would have liked some other options such as a turkey, ham or even roasted chicken instead. The chocolate cake was very moist but also very rich. I couldn't finish it as the icing was too thick. Unless changes are made I will not attend the next holiday buffet. Not sure if it's worth $60 per person.

First, ordering - likely someone is walking out to get your order as you drive around the building. Ordering is easy (not a bad idea to look up a menu online so you aren't slowing everyone down). Now, the food. Little Top is mid. You aren't going to be amazed. You're not going to cry as you bite into the food and taste covers your tongue. I got the cheeseburger, chili and cheese hotdog, fries, and a drink. It was slightly under $20. The cheeseburger was nothing special and, I suspect, those who laud it are being nostalgic. Toppings are standard and the burger itself not special. Some of the pics on the Google are going to show a lovely burger. My burger's mugshot is included. Your mileage may vary. The hotdog was a mix. The hotdog itself was decent in taste. It wasn't appealing in looks. I had to eat it separately since the whole thing was a mess. The chili was so-so. I'm not a fan of beans in chili on hotdogs, which I should have asked about. Still it was clearly chili in taste. The ability to pick up the hotdog as a whole and eat it with your hands was not happening. The fries and drink were your standard fare. Should you try it? Sure. Should you go off your route or out of your way to try it? Nah.

I decided to go against the rec and try it out for myself. I did a lunch special for $9.99, which came with 3 side and a roll, cornbread, or cheddar biscuit. If that didn't get your attention, well read on, my Yelp! friend. I pickle meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried squash, and corn fritters ('cause I'm healthy like that). Meatloaf is a hard thing to do outside of your momma or grandmama's house. Cracker Barrel can't get it right for me. Troyer's, in Limestone can sell you a 1/2 pound piece of it, but you and I both know it's mid. This meatloaf was good. It was moist and tender, and not drenched in ketchup. The mashed potatoes were decent. The corn fritters were mid. I've saved the best for last - the friend squash was awesome! It was, if I'm honest, the star of the show. For $9.99, just under $11 with tags, tax, and title...yep, I'm in on that deal. The real star was the service. If you can find better service in Greeneville, let me know where it is. The crispy potatoes were also good, and the Parmesan spinach tasted okay. However, the meal ended up causing a severe health issue for both my husband and myself. I ordered the fish and chips and was highly disappointed by the food quality. It wasn't the thick, flaky pub-style fish with a light crust you expect; instead, it was thin, heavily breaded, and tasted like a frozen product. I didn't care for the lemon caper sauce or malt vinegar combination and only ate a few small pieces of fish and two bites of the spinach side. That dinner (along with morning coffee with cream) was all I had consumed that entire day. Around midnight, I woke up with agonizing stomach cramps and spent the next several hours alternately vomiting and dealing with severe diarrhea. It was a miserable experience! My husband only tasted a single piece of my fish to see what I meant about the quality, and he had the Parmesan spinach side with his own meal. On our drive home, he had to make an emergency restroom pitstop and suffered from loose stools multiple times through the night, too. Because the fish and the spinach were the only shared items between us, there was clearly a major food safety issue with one of them. Management needs to urgently investigate their seafood storage, handling, or spinach prep temperatures. Drink here for the cold beer, but be extremely cautious with the food!
